Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi tatanama senyawa kimia menggunakan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) berbasis media kartu nama. Hasil belajar yang diukur yaitu aspek kognitif, aspek afektif, dan aspek psikomotor. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah true experimental design dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 53 siswa masing-masing pada kelas eksperimen sebanyak 26 siswa dan kelas kontrol sebanyak 30 siswa. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajran TGT berbantuan media kartu nama sedangkan pada kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil uji validitas tes menunjukkan bahwa 15 soal valid dan hasil reliabitas tes adalah  0,92  tergolong dalam kategori tinggi. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dengan separated varian. Hasil tesebut menunjukkan bahwa pada taraf signifikan 0,05 dengan dk = 51 diperoleh thitung 4,01 > Ttabel 1,67, maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dilengkapi media kartu nama terhadap hasil belajar dengan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 62,57 dan  pada kelas kontrol 53,58. Hasil aspek afektif dari kedua kelas dikategorikan baik, rata-rata kelas eksperimen 82,2% sedangkan pada kelas kontrol 73,8%. Pada Aspek psikomotor dari kedua kelas dikategorikan terampil, rata-rata pada aspek psikomotor antara kelas eksperimen 81,9% dan kelas kontrol adalah 69,2%.

Abstract

This research aimed to test the validity of the feasibility of traditional game learning media on salt hydrolysis. This research was development research (R&D) with a qualitative descriptive approach. This research uses the ADDIE model development design, which consists of 5 (five) stages, namely (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. Data collection techniques in this study used a validation sheet for the assessment of the feasibility of tumbu-tumbu  learning media. The tumbu-tumbu  learning media validation wass assessed by 4 expert validators, namely 2 chemistry lecturers of State University of Gorontalo material experts, 1 media expert lecturer, and 1 high school chemistry teacher. The results of the validation of tumbu-tumbu  learning media development obtained an average percentage 0f 89.40%, which was categorized in very feasible criteria. Therefore, the tumbu-tumbu  learning media are highly usable in the learning process of salt hydrolysis.

Abstract

Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dilengkapi media kartu nama terhadap hasil belajar dengan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 62,57 dan  pada kelas kontrol 53,58. Hasil aspek afektif dari kedua kelas dikategorikan baik, rata-rata kelas eksperimen 82,2% sedangkan pada kelas kontrol 73,8%. Pada Aspek psikomotor dari kedua kelas dikategorikan terampil, rata-rata pada aspek psikomotor antara kelas eksperimen 81,9% dan kelas kontrol adalah 69,2%.

Abstract

This research aims to study the stability of CeO2 structure which doped with trivalent oxide which become Ce1-xMxO2- ( M= Lu3+, Yb3+, Er3+, Y3+, Gd3+, Eu3+, Sm3+, dan La3+) compound through atomistic simulation, the value of x present the concentration number of the substitution dopant of Ce4+ partially and the concentration of the dopant is limited to 10%. This research is explorative theoretical using methods of computational chemistry by atomistic simulating using GULP. The objects in this study was 8 trivalent oxide with the short-range potential as the input data. Potential short-range used in this study is the Buckingham potential. The results of geometry optimization at a constant pressure showed the differences between cell parameters of doped CeO2 before and after the atomistic simulation corresponds with the experimental results is only 0.02%. The results showed that the stability of doped CeO2 structure is decreased with increasing concentrations of dopants. A decrease int he stability of CeO2 doped with Lu, Ce, Er, Gd, Eu, Nd and La is greater than the decrease in the stability of CeO2 doped with Sm, Y and Yb.

Abstract

Quantitatif Structure-Activity Relationship (QSAR) study of 22 antimalarial compounds of Quinolon-4(1H)-imines derivatives has been done using multilinear regression (MLR) and artificial neural network (ANN) methods. The best QSAR model was obtained from ANN analysis indicated by its higher correlation coefficient (r2) compared to MLR method, i.e. 0.931 with most influential descriptors is qC1, qC5, qC11, qN14 and log P.Keywords: Quinolon-4(1H)-imines, Antimalarial, QSAR, MLR-ANNTelah dilakukan kajian analisis Hubungan Kuantitatif Struktur Aktivitas (HKSA) terhadap 22 senyawa antimalaria turunan Quinolon-4(1H)-imines menggunakan metode regresi multilinear (MLR) dan artificial neural network (ANN). Model HKSA terbaik diperoleh dari hasil analisis menggunakan metode ANN yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai koefisien korelasi (r2) paling tinggi dibandingkan dengan metode MLR yaitu sebesar 0,931 dengan deskriptor paling berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas antimalaria turunan Quinolon-4(1H)-imines, yaitu qC1, qC5, qC11, qN14 dan log P.Kata Kunci: Quinolon-4(1H)-imines, Antimalaria, HKSA, MLR-ANN

Abstract

ABSTRACT Quantitative Structure-Activity relationship study of 13 Indolylisoxazoline analogues as antiprostat agent using multiple linear regression (MLR) has been done. Geometri optimization of Indolylisoxazoline analogues using molecular mechanics (MM+) method. The best QSAR model from regression analysis is log IC50 Pred = 30,877 - 71,847 x qC10 + 165,070 x qC11 + 70,106 x qC13 with most influents descriptor to antiprostat activity are qC10, qC11 dan qC13.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi dan mengidentifikasi senyawa metabolit sekunder ekstrak etil asetat dari daun sambiloto. Isolasi tersebut dilakukan melalui tahap maserasi, fraksinasi, dan kromatografi. Identifikasi ekstrak tersebut dan isolatnya dilakukan dengan cara uji fitokimia, spektrofotometer-UV Vis, dan IR. Daun sambiloto kering sebanyak 633 gram dimaserasi dengan metanol selama 3×24 jam, dan diperoleh ekstrak kental metanol setelah melalui proses evaporasi. Ekstrak tersebut difraksinasi berturut-turut dengan n-heksana dan etil asetat untuk menghasilkan ekstrak kental etil asetat sebanyak 21,99 gram. Kemudian, ekstrak kental etil asetat dipisahkan dengan kromatografi kolom dan diuji kemurniannya dengan KLT dan diperoleh isolat murni yang berupa kristal putih dengan berat 126,3 mg. Hasil uji fitokimia ekstrak etil asetat menunjukkan bahwa daun sambiloto mengandung flavanoid dan triterpenoid. Sementara, isolat murni yang dihasilkan adalah senyawa triterpenoid. Hasil pengukuran spektrofotometer UV-Vis menunjukkan adanya 2 pita serapan pada panjang gelombang 278 dan 202, dan hasil pengukuran spektrofotometer IR adanya gugus fungsi O-H alkohol pada bilangan gelombang 3426.5 cm-1, C-H alifatik pada bilangan gelombang 2918.1 cm-1 dan 1463.3 cm-1, C=O pada bilangan gelombang 1640.6 cm-1, C=C alkena pada bilangan gelombang 1559.2 cm-1, C-H pada bilangan gelombang 802.5 cm-1 dan 886.4 cm-1, dan C-O alkohol pada bilangan gelombang 1099.6 cm-1 yang menandakan bahwa isolat merupakan suatu senyawa golongan triterpenoid

Abstract

This study aims to determine the iron content of water wells in Dulalowo and Heledulaa, Gorontalo City. Ten well water samples were taken randomly from five different wells in each district. Water samples at each well consist of top, middle, and bottom water. Determination of iron level using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) at a wavelength of 248.33 nm. The results showed that the iron concentration of well water in Dulalowo was 0.030 (D1), 0.265 (D2), 0.224 (D3), 0.158 (D4), 0.149 ppm (D5). Meanwhile, iron levels in Heledulaa were 0.100 (H1), 0.039 (H2), 0.159 (H3), 0.198 (H4), and 0.235 ppm (H5). These results prove that the Fe content in the well water in the two districts is still fulfil the drinking water standard which is a maximum of 0.3 mg/L iron.

Abstract

Chemistry learning has so far emphasized macroscopic and symbolic aspects as a result of misconceptions and students' low understanding of chemistry. This study aims to determine the influence of science process skill through guided inquiry model on student learning outcomes on acidic-basicsolution topic. The type of research is experimental research with Posttest-Only Control Design. Sampling was done by using Purposive Sampling technique. The sample of research for the experimental class and control class were 31 students, respectively. Data collection using objective test as an instrument that contains test about acidic acid material. Data analysis technique used to test the research hypothesis is t-test. Based on the statistical results obtained the average value of post-test experimental class is 58.55 while for the control class the average post-test value is 39.68. Result of data analysis for learning result show that in significant level 0,05 obtained tcount> t table  (6,22> 1,671),  then H0 rejected or accepted H1. Thus it can be concluded that there is the influence of process skills of science through guided inquiry model on student learning outcomes on acidic acid solution materials.The positive effects are also discussed in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of research was to determine the problem solving skill of basic chemical laws at tenth-grade senior high school of  through the application of guided inquiry learning models. The ability is known through a three tier multiple choice diagnostic test. This research was an experimental quasi with pretest-posttest control group design. The  sample consisted of 107 students consisting of 56 experimental class  and 51 control class. Based on the results of the calculation of the F test that F count> F table (10.72> 3.93) with α = 0.05. This means that there was an influence of the application of the guided inquiry learning model to students' ability to solve problems in the basic laws of chemistry. 70.71% of students in the experimental class can understand the problem, plan the solution, carry out the solution, and re-examine the results of the problem solving. Meanwhile, control class students were unable to solve very high problems, namely 24.5% students..
