Abstract

This research aims to determine how the principal carried out his duties in handling covid 19 transmissions in SD Muhammadiyah Purbayan. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques are carried out with interviews, observations, and literature studies. Interviews were conducted with teachers and employees of SD Muhammadiyah Purbayan Yogyakarta. Participants in this interview were selected through several criteria, including teachers and school employees directly involved by the school principal in covid-19 prevention. The validity of the data used is the triangulation technique. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study show that; 1) the principal of SD Muhammadiyah Purbayan took steps to prevent transmission of the COVID 19 virus; 2) principals of schools which matters during the pandemic; 3) organizing school principals, assignments and to teachers and employees; 4) the principal together with teachers and employees from outside the school carry out activities which are planned, and 5) the principal of the hall which is the activity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the process of implementing entrepreneurship programs through craft and entrepreneurship learning at SMA Negeri 2 Banguntapan Bantul. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and document analysis. We conducted interviews with school principals, vice-principals, teachers, students, and parents. We conducted data analysis referring to the writing of Entrepreneurship Education (Naswan Suharsono, Undiksha), namely through steps to reduce data, present data, and draw conclusions. The results showed that 1) SMA Negeri 2 Banguntapan Bantul developed entrepreneurship programs that refer to the school's vision and mission; 2) Cultivating an entrepreneurial attitude is carried out in several stages of coordination, preparation and planning, entrepreneurship development in the curriculum, outreach to school members, motivation by practitioners and visits to DUDI, entrepreneurial IHT; 3) The implementation of entrepreneurship program development is carried out by integrating subjects and extracurricular activities; the formation of the Student Business Group (KUS), and the existence of the Bazaar.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to analyze role of Principal in improving innovation and creativity of teachers at SD Muhammadiyah Bantul Kota during the pandemic. This research uses descriptive research type from observation and interviews. The research sample was the principal, three teachers, the school committee, and two guardians and students. The role of the principal in improving teacher innovation and creativity in learning are (1) the principal as a role model; (2) supervision and guidance, (3) giving rewards and punishments, (4) involving teachers in training, (5) creating a pleasant working atmosphere, (6) giving freedom to innovate and be creative, (7) involving teachers in various competitions

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengeksplorasi manajemen pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan di sekolah dasar 07 pekat NTB. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan metode analysis kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh gambaran bahwa pendidikan berbasis lingkungan di SDN 07 Pekat, Dompu NTB merupakan bagian terpenting dalam pendidikan agar siswa dapat mencakup karakter siswa, sosial, serta menanamkan jiwa peduli siswa terhadapa lingkungan alam ini. Implementasi pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan di SDN 07 Pekat dilaksanakan melalui berbagai strategi antara lain: 1) integrasi pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan dalam pembelajaran; 2) Penerapan kebijakan sekolah berbasis lingkungan; 3) kepedulian siswa SDN 07 Pekat terhadap lingkungan hidup; 4) hambatan dalam menjalankan pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan. Kesimpulan pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan sangat penting di terapkan di sekolah dasar. Integrasi pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan hidup merupakan hal yang penting untuk pendidikan supaya siswa lebih peduli dan menjaga lingkungan alam ini. Sekolah dasar merupakan pendidikan formal yang tepat untuk diterapkan pendidikan berbasis lingkungan sejak dini. Sehingga penerapan kebijakan sekolah berwawasan lingkungan memiliki tujuan yang tepat agar menanamkan karakter peduli lingkungan serta dan sebagai strategi sekolah dalam meningkatkan kepedulians iswa terhadap lingkunga hidup yang sedang mengalami pemerosotan kerusakan di abad-21

Abstract

Religious culture is applied in schools so that the good habits of students, so that the strategy of developing religious culture is essential to be applied to schools so that students have a noble character in Islamic education. The purpose of this study is to describe the strategy of developing a religious culture to shape students' character. This research is qualitative. Data collection obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. This study's subject was determined based on a purposive sampling technique with information from the homeroom teacher. Checking the validity of the data starts with using a check and continues with the triangulation technique. The results showed that the strategy of developing a culture of religious and improving the character of students at SD Muhammadiyah Tonggalan, 1) creating a religious atmosphere in schools including allocating half an hour to learn to read the Qur'an before the lesson begins, do the Dhuha, Dhuhr, Asr prayer,  Ramadan fasting, qurban worship, hajj rituals, social services, Sunday morning teachings,  also (2) habituation of Islamic values. The research findings expected to illustrate that the strategy of developing religious culture can shape students' character.

Abstract

Implementing learning is growing from a traditional face-to-face system to digital-based learning in the digital era. These changes create new problems for education actors, and they especially require digital adaptation capabilities that teachers must do quickly. This study aims to analyze learning strategies in the digital era, especially at 3 Tapung Junior High School, and reveal what factors influence the implementation of learning in the digital era. This research uses a case study method conducted at the school. The data was obtained by using the interview instrument with the teacher. The interviews showed that the school teachers still felt weaknesses in learning in the digital era. However, they overcome the teachers' various advantages and strategies. The teacher in the learning process applies them. In addition, teachers also take advantage of multiple platforms such as WhatsApp groups, google classroom, google meet, power points, and creative videos to increase student activity in learning to improve student learning outcomes in the digital era.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has made changes in all fields, including education. Everyone in the field of education is required to do online learning. There are many obstacles in online learning, one of which is the decline of the academic quality of students. The purpose of this study is to find out the best practices of  leadership implemented by the Principal of  SD MuhammadiyahKarangkajen 4 Yogyakarta in improving  the academic quality of students during the Covid-19 pandemic. The researchers used qualitative method and the data of the research were collectedthrough observation and interviews with school principal and the teachers. The results of this study showed that the principal opened a learning consultation service in schools. Beside the school continued  implementing the health protocols recommended by the government and several requirements such as teachers and students must be in good health, not from outside the city, and no family has been affected by COVID-19. The existence of study consultations at schoolmade thestudents more enthusiastic in learning, more responsible in doing their tasks, their academic scores increase.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the principal's strategy in changing the teacher's mindset to improve learning quality. The method used in this research is the interview and documentation method. In processing the research results using Atlas. ti 8 software, the steps are to process the data obtained and then provide a code, classify the code that has been obtained according to the same meaning, then combine several concepts that have the sense to get a new idea. The results of this study are the principal in changing the mindset of teachers by carrying out teacher training and implementing teacher competency development and teachers improving the quality of learning by using learning technology, learning media, and learning evaluation.

Abstract

Abstract: Tahun 2020, instrument akreditasi sekolah/madrasah mulai menggunakan Instrumen Akreditasi Satuan Pendidikan 2020 (IASP 2020). Dalam konteks IASP 2020, komponen mutu lulusan merupakan komponen yang memiliki bobot nilai paling tinggi dibandingkan dengan komponen lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi proses penjaminan mutu lulusan berbasis akreditasi di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan dengan menggunakan IASP 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian studi kasus. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling, dengan kriteria: seluruh warga SMK yang telah mengalami proses penjaminan mutu lulusan dengan menggunakan IASP 2020. Jumlah partisipan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 16 orang guru dan karyawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa proses penjaminan mutu lulusan berbasis akreditasi dilakukan melalui program: 1) Persiapan: pemahaman IASP 2020, pembentukan tim penjamin mutu lulusan; 2) Melakukan EDS mutu lulusan berbasis IASP 2020; 3) Analisis kesenjangan antara hasil EDS dengan kondisi ideal; 4) Pemenuhan gap melalui perbaikan kinerja pada komponen mutu lulusan; 5) Evalusi program ketercapaian kinerja mutu lulusan dan tindak lanjut. Keywords: mutu lulusan; akreditasi; IASP 20203; Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Abstrak: In 2020, the school accreditation instrument began to use the 2020 Education Unit Accreditation Instrument (IASP 2020). In the context of the 2020 IASP, the component of graduate quality is the component that has the highest value weight compared to other components. This study aims to explore the process of quality assurance for accreditation-based graduates in Vocational High Schools using the IASP 2020. This study uses a case study research method. Participants in this study were determined by purposive sampling method, with the criteria: all SMK citizens who have undergone a graduate quality assurance process using IASP 2020. The number of participants in this study was 16 teachers and employees. The results showed that the accreditation-based graduate quality assurance process was carried out through the following programs: 1) Preparation: understanding IASP 2020, forming a graduate quality assurance team; 2) Conducting the 2020 IASP-based graduate quality EDS; 3) Gap analysis between EDS results and ideal conditions; 4) Fulfilling the gap through improving the performance of the graduate quality component; 5) Evaluation of the program for the achievement of the quality performance of graduates and the follow-up. Keywords: graduated qualities; accreditation; IASP 2020; Vocational Senior High School.

Abstract

Secara umum, semua proses pendidikan di sekolah ditujukan untuk membangun mutu lulusan yang kompeten dan memiliki kemampuan adaptasi terhadap setiap perubahan. Untuk itu, sekolah seharusnya senantiasa melakukan proses penjaminan mutu lulusan setiap saat agar dapat menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas sesuai dengan perubahan zaman. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta melakukan berbagai upaya penjaminan mutu, salah satunya adalah dengan melakukan kemitraan secara institusional dengan Universitas Ahmad Dahlan sebagai perguruan tinggi kependidikan yang memiliki kepedulian tinggi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan nasional. Salah satu program Kerjasama Institusional antara Universitas Ahmad Dahlan dengan SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta adalah dengan adanya program pengabdian masyarakat dari UAD kepada SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan penjaminan mutu lulusan dengan menggunakan Instrumen Akreditasi Satuan Pendidikan 2020 (IASP 2020), agar SMA Muhammadiayh 2 Yogaykarta memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang memadai untuk melakukan penjaminan mutu lulusan secara mandiri. Metode yang dilakukan adalah melalui tiga acara yaitu 1) Ceramah dalam bentuk webinar, 2) Mitra melakukan praktik terbimbing menyusun bukti kinerja mutu lulusan berdasarkan IASP 2020, dan 3) Proses review tim abdimas terhadap bukti kinerja yang berhasil disusun oleh tim penjaminan mutu mitra. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukan bahwa pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra mengalami peningkatan dalam hal penjaminan mutu lulusan menggunakan IASP 2020. Ini terbukti dari dihasilkannya produk berupa bukti kinerja komponen mutu lulusan serta hasil evaluasi diri yang tepat sesuai dengan kondisi sekolah. Kemampuan ini bermanfaat bagi sekolah untuk dapat melakukan penjaminan mutu lulusan menggunakan IASP 2020 secara mandiri.
