Abstract

Di Indonesia hipertensi merupakan penyakit yang menjadi kontributor tunggal utama dari gagal ginjal, penyakit jantung, serta stroke, sehingga pemberian obat antihipertensi diharapkan dapat mengontrol tekanan dara penderita hipertensi. Hal terpenting jika pasien punya kepatuhan terapi dikarenakan hipertensi menjadi penyakit yang tidak bisa disembuhkan. Kepatuhan pasien didalam mengkonsumsi obat ataupun medication of adherence adalah tingkatan taatnya pasien dalam menuruti anjuran pengobatan yang dibagikan dari dokter maupun tenaga kesehatan lainnya.Pengujian ini punya tujuan dalam melihat tingkatan kepatuhan minum obat pada pasien hipertensi di Puskesmas Kakaskasen. Penelitian ini sifatnya observasional melalui pengambilan data dilakukan dengan deskriptif dan dinarasikan, metode pengumpulan data dilaksanakan denganprospektif mempergunakan lembaran kuesioner MMAS-8 (Morisky Medication Adherence Scale). Hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan selama bulan Desember 2022 menunjukkan tingkat kepatuhan tinggi berjumlah 28,77%, tingkat kepatuhan sedang berjumlah 53,42%, serta tingkat kepatuhan rendah berjumlah 17,81%.

Abstract

Antibacterial is a substance that stops and kills the growth of bacteria. Mangrove Sonneratia alba is an exciting plant to use as a medicine because of its antibacterial properties. Secondary metabolite compounds such as alkaloids, phenols, tannins, saponins, triterpenoids, and flavonoids present in the roots are antimicrobial. This study aims to determine the antibacterial activity of mangrove root infusion of Sonneratia alba in Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. This laboratory study uses the agar diffusion technique with a well to test antibacterial. Using three concentrations, namely 25%, 50%, and 100%, this study found that the infusion of the roots of the Sonneratia alba mangrove 25%, 50%, and 100% showed antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The results of the Kruskal-Wallis test showed that Escherichia coli bacteria showed a P value of 0.010<0.05 and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria with a P value of 0.011<0.05, which showed that there was a significant difference between the two types of bacteria because the significant value was less than 0.05.

Abstract

Burns caused by inflammation can lead to severe and potentially fatal conditions, especially if the burn is located in a very sensitive area of the body or if the burn becomes infected. Untreated inflammation can cause very severe inflammation, which can damage cells, tissues, or organs. The roots of Sonneratia alba contain alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, triterpenoids, and tannins that can help heal burns. The aim of this research is to determine the phytochemistry and the effects of the ethanolic extract of Sonneratia alba roots on the healing of burn wounds on rat skin. Research Method: The research uses an experimental method. The research includes the extraction stage, using 96% ethanol as a solvent in the maceration process, and the ethanol extract of S. alba roots is screened for its chemical content. Testing phase of the anti-inflammatory activity of Sonneratia alba mangrove root extract on burn wound healing. Experimental animals used were 15 Rattus norvegicus rats divided into 5 groups with different concentrations of 3 treatments, that is: the positive control group with Bioplacenton gel, the negative control group with Aquadest, the group with 15% ethanol extract of S. alba root, the group with 30% ethanol extract of S. alba root, and the group with 45% ethanol extract of S. alba root. During the observation phase, the measurement of burn healing diameter was conducted over 32 days using callipers. The research result show that the ethanol extract of Sonneratia alba roots contains alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, triterpenoids, and phenolic compounds. The 15%, 30%, and 45% concentrations of the ethanol extract of Sonneratia alba roots have the potential to heal burns in rats. Ethanolic root extract showed an increase in healing power after the 20th day, faster than Biopalcenton gel.

Abstract

Infectious diseases, especially in developing countries such as Indonesia, are a common health problem, one of which is caused by bacteria. This study tested the antibacterial activity of Chinese betel leaf extract against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria, with secondary metabolite content such as alkaloids, tannins, and flavonoids that act as antibacterials. This study was a laboratory experiment using a completely randomized design with three repetitions at five concentrations of extract, as well as one positive and negative control. The method used was the agar diffusion method, and the test results showed that Chinese betel leaf extract had antibacterial potential against Staphylococcus aureus at various concentrations tested. The concentrations used were 6µL/disc, 8µL/disc, 10µL/disc, 12µL/disc, and 14µL/disc, where all these categories produced inhibition zones included in the moderate category according to Susanto (2012). Statistical analysis using the Kruskal-Wallis test produced a significant value of 0.035 (<0.05), indicating a significant difference between each concentration tested. From the research results, it can be concluded that Chinese betel leaf extract has effective antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus.

Abstract

Infectious diseases can be caused by microbiological agents, namely bacteria. The ability of bacteria to invade and cause infection is referred to as a pathogenicity. The results of phytochemical screening produced secondary metabolite compounds alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, phenolics that act as antibacterial. This study aims to determine the antibacterial activity of Sonneratia alba mangrove root infusa against Propionibacterium acnes and Salmonella typhi bacteria. This type of research is a laboratory experimental research, using the well method by doing three repetitions on 5 concentration series, 1 positive control and 1 negative control for two types of bacteria namely Propionibacterium acnes and Salmonella typhi. The results obtained from the Kruskal Wallis test on Propionibacterium acnes bacteria are Sig 0.028 < 0.05, and the results of the ANOVA test on Salmonella typhi bacteria from Sig = 0.000 < 0.05. And it is known in Propionibacterium acnes bacteria that 25% concentration inhibits 5.83 mm, 50% concentration inhibits 6.3 mm, 100% concentration inhibits 9.43 mm. And in Salmonella typhi bacteria that concentration is known that 25% concentration inhibits 9.73 mm, 50% concentration inhibits 9.43 mm, 100% concentration inhibits 11.57 mm. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that Sonneratia alba root infusa has antibacterial activity on Propionibacterium acnes and Salmonella typhii bacteria.

Abstract

Antibacterial is a compound used to control the growth of harmful bacteria. Mangrove plants are strongly suspected to have bioactive content, the bioactive content contained in mangrove plants is useful in the pharmaceutical field as a medicinal ingredient. Sonneratia alba root contains secondary metabolite compounds Flavanoids, tannins and alkaloids that act as antibacterials. The purpose of this study was to determine the antibacterial activity of S.alba ethanol extract against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria and Escherichia coli bacteria. Extraction method by maceration, long extraction time 3 days. The extract obtained is then evaporated solvent in the rotary evaporator then the extract results are made concentrations of 25?g, 50?g, 100?g, and 150?g. antibacterial testing using the Kirby-Bauer method. The results showed that at concentrations of 25?g, 50?g, 100?g, and 150?g Sonneratia alba mangrove roots had antibacterial activity. But those that have strong antibacterial activity in Escherichia coli bacteria are at a concentration of 50? with while in Staphylococcus aureus bacteria are at a concentration of 150?g with an inhibitory zone of 18.6mm, and in Escherichia coli bacteria with an inhibitory zone of 18,3mm.

Abstract

Nature provides various compounds that can provide anti-inflammatory activity, one of which is the compound contained in mangrove roots (Sonneratia alba). In these plants, especially in the roots, there are secondary metabolite compounds such as alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, triterpenoids and from various reported research results, flavonoids have anti-inflammatory properties. The medicinal preparation that the researchers want to make is a gel preparation that is used for topical treatment therapy. The research was carried out with 15 rats into 5 test groups. Positive control group: given Diclofenac Sodium gel (Voltadex) 20 g (1%), negative control group: given gel without ethanol extract, 2.5% concentration group: given 2.5% ethanol extract gel, 5% concentration group: given 5% ethanol extract gel, 10% concentration group: 10% ethanol extract gel was given. The data was analyzed descriptively and presented in the form of tables and graphs. The research results showed that the Sonneratia alba ethanol extract gel preparation had anti-inflammatory activity. The research results show that the ethanol extract of Sonneratia alba mangrove roots can be used as a gel preparation and in in vivo testing the gel preparation of Sonneratia alba mangrove root ethanol extract has anti-inflammatory activity. The control group of Sonneratia alba mangrove root ethanol extract gel preparations of concentrations of 2.5%, 5% and 10% had a swelling inhibition percentage, which means that Sonneratia alba mangrove root ethanol extract gel preparations of 2.5%, 5% and 10% concentration had anti-inflammatory activity.

Abstract

Diseases caused by bacteria infections are renowned for hurting human health and may become fatal when not treated with appropriate medical therapy. Meanwhile, several bacteria, including Mycobacterium smegmatis, Escherichia coli, and Salmonella typhi, are resistant to numerous antibiotics. Therefore, this study aimed to find new compounds from plants with antibacterial potential. The results showed that based on phytochemical screening, Dendrophthoe pentandra mistletoe leaf on Citrus microcarpa Bunge plants had compounds with antibacterial activity, namely alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, and phenolics. According to Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis, eight compounds have antibacterial properties, namely 2-Myristynoyl pantetheine; 2H-Indeno[1,2-b]furan-2-one, 3,3a,4,5,6,7,8,8b-octahydro-8,8-dimethyl; Acetamide, N-methyl-N-[4-(3-hydroxypyrrolidinyl)-2-butynyl]-; Ethyl iso-allocholate; a-D-Glucopyranoside, methyl 2-(acetylamino)-2-deoxy-3-O-(trimethylsilyl)-, cyclic methylboronate; tert-Hexadecanethiol; Sarreroside; and d-Mannose. D. pentandra mistletoe leaf extract had a better effect or activity on inhibiting the growth of M. smegmatis than E. coli and S. typhi. It was concluded that D. pentandra mistletoe leaf on Citrus microcarpa Bunge plants had antibacterial activity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kejadian medication error pada pelayanan resep obat di Puskesmas Lansot, Kota Tomohon. Medication error merupakan kejadian yang dapat dicegah namun berpotensi merugikan pasien akibat kesalahan dalam proses pengobatan, yang dapat terjadi pada tahap prescribing, transcribing, maupun dispensing. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif non-eksperimental dengan desain cross sectional dan pengambilan data secara prospektif terhadap seluruh resep obat resmi dari dokter Puskesmas Lansot selama Februari 2024. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar checklist yang memuat parameter medication error pada ketiga tahap tersebut, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dalam bentuk persentase. Hasil penelitian terhadap 706 lembar resep menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap prescribing ditemukan kesalahan terbanyak berupa tidak dicantumkannya nomor SIP dokter (100%), nomor telepon dokter (100%), alamat dokter (100%), dan tinggi badan pasien (100%). Pada tahap transcribing ditemukan kesalahan berupa ketidakjelasan atau ketidaklengkapan informasi obat, sedangkan pada tahap dispensing kesalahan yang muncul meliputi pemberian etiket yang salah/tidak lengkap dan informasi penggunaan obat yang tidak lengkap. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa medication error masih terjadi pada pelayanan resep obat di Puskesmas Lansot, terutama pada tahap prescribing.
