Abstract

The epistemology of interpretation is a branch of science that aims to answer questions based on the theory of applied science about interpretation itself. The Book of Tafsir Fii Zhilalil Quran by Sayyid Qutb is one of the tafsir that was born in contemporary times using the tahlili method and has an al-adabi al-ijtimā'i pattern. This study aims to understand Sayyid Qutb's interpretive epistemology in interpreting the Koran in his work Tafsir Fii Zhilalil Koran. How can someone assess the validity of an interpretation based on epistemic rules? This research uses a qualitative approach and library research and examines both primary and secondary sources to descriptively analyze the biography of Sayyid Qutb, the epistemology of interpretation, the advantages and disadvantages of Fii Zhilalil's interpretation of the Qur'an. This research shows that this tafsir book attempts to provide a comprehensive interpretation of each text of the Qur'an in accordance with the orderly sequence of the mushaf. So this book of tafsir makes a contribution based on al-adabi al-ijtimā'i's style of interpretation, usually explaining several phenomena related to social and cultural developments at that time and providing solutions on how to overcome the social problems being faced by Muslims.

Abstract

This study aims to isolate, identify, and test the potential of native lipolytic bacteria from LCPKS contaminated soil, as well as to determine the effect of supplementation of oil palm leaf midrib extract on its degradation activity. The research method uses an experimental design with isolation techniques and morphological characterization of bacteria, followed by a lipolytic test on Nutrient Agar Fat (NAL) medium and a bioremediation test using oil palm leaf midrib extract at concentrations of 0.1%, 0.5%, and 1%. The results showed that there were nine types of colonies with three dominant bacteria, namely Candida spp. (95 colonies), Streptomyces sp. (11 colonies), and Aspergillus spp. (4 colonies). The three bacteria were shown to be lipolytically active, as evidenced by the formation of a clear zone in the NAL medium. Supplementation with oil palm frond extract significantly increased colony growth, with the highest yield at a concentration of 1% (>360 colonies/15 mL). ANOVA analysis showed differences in degradation effectiveness between colonies, with Aspergillus spp. exhibiting higher activity than other colonies. These findings confirm that the use of indigenous lipolytic bacteria in combination with oil palm frond extract can be a sustainable bioremediation strategy to reduce oil and fat content in LCPKS.

Abstract

Education is the cornerstone of a nation's development, heavily reliant on the proficiency of its educators. Despite this, many teachers face obstacles in executing their roles as defined by teacher competencies, particularly in conducting classroom action research (CAR), which entails identifying developmental issues in children and formulating suitable interventions. This research aims to bolster teachers' grasp of CAR through workshops that emphasize practice and reflection. The research process involves several stages: introducing relevant material, engaging in reflective practice based on personal experience, participating in group discussions, and creating follow-up learning strategies. This study employed a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design involving 10 early childhood teachers. Data from pretest and posttest were analyzed using descriptive statistics, paired-sample t-test, and N-Gain analysis. The effectiveness of this training is assessed by comparing pretest and posttest results. Findings reveal that reflective practice-based workshops significantly enhance early childhood teachers' understanding of CAR. While the improvement in comprehension is considered moderately effective, these workshops offer a valuable framework for advancing other areas of teacher competency.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to introduce and train students in the process of making AromaKara, a natural air freshener made from kitchen spices as a substitute for artificial fragrances containing volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The method applied in this community service activity is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, namely training and direct instruction which was carried out on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 07.00 WIB at MTsN 1 Palangka Raya City, with a focus on 32 students in grades 8-1. The results of this activity showed an increase in students' understanding of the risks of using synthetic fragrances, the benefits of using natural ingredients, and environmental awareness. Students were also able to make Aromakara products independently and showed high interest during the activity. This training played a role in strengthening students' environmental literacy, scientific literacy, and entrepreneurial interests. Overall, this community service activity demonstrated the effectiveness of experiential learning in the MBKM program and the potential for sustainable development within the school environment.
