Abstract

An energy audit is a method for calculating the level of energy use of a building or buildings, in which the results will be compared with existing standards and then look for solutions to save energy consumption if the level of energy consumption exceeds the standard. The purpose of an energy audit is to reduce energy use and save costs in energy use. In this research, energy audits were carried out at restaurants in Pekanbaru City. The method used is a quantitative method including calculating the use of electricity in lighting and air conditioning systems, Calculating Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE), and Energy Conservation Opportunities (ECO). Based on the results of the study, the IKE value was obtained before saving was 11.03 in the efficient category. After saving, IKE fell to 5.42 in the very efficient category. The electricity that can be saved in a year from this restaurant is 48,234.4 kWh with a total cost of Rp. 69,684,284.

Abstract

Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) merupakan ketel uap yang memanfaatkan gas buang dari turbin gas untuk memanaskan air menjadi uap panas lanjut. Efisiensi HRSG dapat dihitung dengan cara membandingkan total aliran energi panas untuk menghasilkan uap dengan total aliran energi panas yang berasal dari keluaran turbin gas. Efisiensi tertinggi terjadi pada tanggal 21 Februari 2024 yaitu sebesar 88% dengan aliran energi yang dibutuhkan air menjadi uap panas lanjut sebesar 639241,9673 kJ/s dengan laju aliran gas buang turbin yang masuk pada HRSG sebesar 735455,2214 kJ/s. Efisiensi terendah terjadi pada tanggal 22 Februari 2024 yaitu sebesar 85% dengan aliran energi yang dibutuhkan air menjadi uap panas lanjut sebesar 621604,2948 kJ/s dengan aliran gas buang turbin yang masuk pada HRSG sebesar 730132,8416 kJ/s. Penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui nilai paling efektif dari sistem. Efisiensi yang tinggi menunjukkan penggunaan energi yang lebih efisien dan potensi penghematan energi yang lebih besar.

Abstract

Energy management and audits are important steps in improving a building's energy efficiency. Mosques, as centers of religious and social activities, often have significant energy requirements. The research methods used include field observations at the Teratak Buluh Grand Mosque, measuring energy consumption, and recommendations for saving energy use. The research results show that mosques have the potential for significant energy savings with recommendations for energy conservation opportunities that can be implemented by reducing the number of lamps used and the number of air conditioners. Previously, electrical power consumption at the Teratak Buluh Grand Mosque was 74,480.40 kWh/year with electricity costs reaching IDR 68,894,370/year. Meanwhile, electrical power usage after energy conservation opportunities (ECO) is 41,918.40 kWh/year with electricity costs of IDR 38,774,520/year, with an energy consumption intensity (IKE) value at the mosque of 13.49 kWh/m2/ month. Based on Permen No. 13 Tahun 2012 Tentang Penghematan Energi Listrik, this value is included in the fairly efficient energy consumption category.
