Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to develop a reminder application system for patients with hypertension and diabetes mellitus (DM) to improve medication adherence and health monitoring. Hypertension and diabetes are non-communicable diseases whose prevalence continues to rise in Indonesia, with Puskesmas Ngaglik 1 as the study location showing low patient compliance with the chronic disease management program (Prolanis). Using the User Centered Design (UCD) method, this research involves users at every stage of system development, from problem identification, literature review, to prototype creation. The results indicate that the developed application can assist patients in remembering their medication schedules, routine check-ups, and exercise, as well as providing emergency features to enhance interaction between patients and Prolanis staff. Prototype evaluation was conducted through two iterations, demonstrating that the resulting system meets user needs. Users say that the system built can help in the Prolanis program and improve discipline in patients.

Abstract

Sudden cardiac arrest (SDA), which is one of the most prevalent causes of mortality, can be prevented by quickly conducting basic life support (BLS). In Pontianak City, the challenges associated with obtaining emergency health training, such as BLS, remain high. This study aims to evaluate user acceptance of telehealth as well as its effectiveness in BLS training. We will also discuss its impact on community knowledge and skills in managing cardiac arrest. We used the HOT-Fit method to analyze the level of acceptance of telehealth in BLS training. We collected data from 60 respondents who underwent telehealth-based BLS training. The results showed that participants' understanding and readiness in dealing with heart attack emergencies had increased significantly, by 90% and 92%, respectively. Analysis of the level of acceptance with HOT-Fit showed that system quality had the greatest influence on system use (0.611). Service quality exerted the most significant impact on user satisfaction (0.568). The net benefit was influenced by system use, user satisfaction, and organizational support, with user satisfaction having the greatest influence (0.600). Further research will be conducted on the utilization of augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR) technology to implement telehealth for BLS training.

Abstract

The elderly are a vulnerable group that is susceptible to various degenerative diseases. The lack of information and understanding of the elderly causes a high rate of disease complications. This study aims to design an ElderCare Monitor application that is easy to use and tailored to the needs of users. The application caters to a variety of users, including elderly families, the elderly themselves, the pre-elderly, and health center officers. Health workers at the health center and the elderly's family collaborate to independently monitor the health of the elderly and pre-elderly. The system is designed using the design thinking method. The design thinking method involves five stages: empathy, define, ideate, prototyping, and testing. The results of the study showed an effectiveness rate of 95.24% for the elderly and families and 95.83% for health center officers. The average SUS score for families and the elderly was 74.17, while for medical personnel, it was 77.5. Therefore, the ElderCare application received the "Good" usability category. This study contains numerous components that may serve as encouragement. In particular, it is imperative that we consistently improve the UI/UX of ElderCare by routinely gathering user feedback and incorporating features that can more effectively support the elderly.

Abstract

Abstract

Digital transformation in cultural tourism presents significant challenges, particularly in heritage villages like Kotagede, Yogyakarta. Problems such as limited infrastructure, low digital literacy, and the absence of a structured planning framework hinder progress toward community-based sustainable tourism development. This study addresses these challenges by proposing an integrated decision-making framework that combines SOAR analysis, the Balanced Scorecard (BSC), and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The SOAR-BSC framework captures strategic objectives from qualitative data through focus group discussions and stakeholder interviews, while the AHP quantitatively prioritizes eight strategic alternatives based on hierarchical criteria and subcriteria. The most impactful strategies identified were: (1) developing partnerships with tour operators, and (2) promoting community cultural education and training. The Learning and Growth Perspective emerged as the most influential factor (weight = 0.5549), highlighting the importance of community empowerment and digital skills development. Sensitivity analysis and cross-validation using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method confirmed the consistency and robustness of the rankings. In practice, this framework offers a participatory, data-driven guide for digital transformation in heritage tourism, supporting not only improved destination management but also long-term cultural preservation through inclusive digital initiatives.
