Abstract

Seaweed is one of the commodities that are widely cultivated in coastal areas in Indonesia, as an export-oriented commodity. This study aims to determine the competitive advantage, comparative advantage, and competitiveness of seaweed farming (Eucheuma Spinosum). This research was conducted in Liya Bahari Village, Wangi-Wangi Selatan District, Wakatobi Regency. The method of determining the sample is purposive sampling. This research was conducted from July to August 2021. The data sources are primary and secondary data. Analysis of the data used is PAM (Policy Analysis Matrix).The results of this study indicate that seaweed farming in Liya Bahari Village, Wangi-Wangi Selatan District, Wakatobi Regency has a competitive advantage and comparative advantage, and has strong competitiveness. The seaweed farming has a Domestic Resource Cost Ratio (DRC) of 0.03. The value of DRC 1 indicates that seaweed farming has a comparative advantage so that it has domestic resource efficiency at international prices. The seaweed farming has a Private Cost Ratio (PCR) value of 0.40. Abstract

Saluran alam atau sungai dan anak sungai yang ada pada daerah aliran Sungai Tallo tersebut pada saat ini sudah banyak mengalami pendangkalan sehingga kapasitasnya sudah tidak mampu menampung debit banjir yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas tampungan Kolam Regulasi Nipa-Nipa dalam mengurangi banjir di kota Makassar dan menganalisis fluktuasi muka air kolam pasca banjir akibat evaporasi dan rembesan air waduk. Metode yang digunakan dalam menganalisis curah hujan rencana adalah metode Gumbel. Untuk perhitungan debit banjir rancangan digunakan metode hidrograf satuan sintetik Nakayasu (HSS Nakayasu). Dalam penelitian ini digunakan rumus efektivitas untuk menganalisis seberapa efektif Kolam Regulasi Nipa-Nipa dalam mengurangi banjir di kota Makassar dengan memperhatikan fluktuasi muka air kolam pasca banjir akibat evaporasi dan rembesan air waduk. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pengambilan data lewat instansi terkait. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai tampungan maksimum yang terjadi adalah sebesar ±3,447,917,35 m³ dengan luas ±1,181,1067 m². Waduk Kolam Regulasi Nipa-Nipa efektif menampung air banjir pada Q₂₀₀ sampai 103 hari. Fluktuasi muka air waduk turun rata-rata 0,838 m/bulan pada saat cuaca cerah dan tidak ada lagi input air dari sungai. Kesimpulan penelitian menjadikan Waduk Kolam Regulasi Nipa-Nipa  efektif dalam mengurangi banjir di kota Makassar.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the type of reasoning and the level of prospective physics teacher students’ logical thinking ability. This type of research was a field study with a quantitative descriptive method. The test was the technique used in collecting data of this study. The instrument used in this study was the standard test like Test of Logical Thinking (TOLT). This test consists of 10 questions that measured five types of reasoning, namely proportional reasoning, variable control, probabilistic reasoning, correlation reasoning, and combination reasoning. The level of logical thinking ability was distinguished into concrete, transitional, and formal thinking operational. The sample of this study was students of physics teacher candidates at the first-year level, totaling 30 students.  All of data was analyzed by quantitative descriptive. In general, students tend to the type of proportional reasoning and controlling variables and less on probabilistic reasoning. Based on the level of logical thinking ability, the results showed that the percentage of 30 students who were in the concrete, transitional, and formal categories, respectively, were 30%, 30%, and 60%. This data becomes the basis for consideration in the development of learning models and learning assessments used in lectures, especially in Department of Physics Education in one of the University in Makassar city, so that they are able to contribute to the development of students' level of logical thinking skills as a provision for the next life.

Abstract

This study used a Quantum Teaching learning model, using classroom action research. the aim of this research is 1) To find out whether Arabic learning runs effectively when the Quantum Teaching learning model is applied and can be absorbed well. 2) To see whether students are increasingly interested in learning Arabic when the Quantum Teaching learning model is applied. 3) To find out what are the inhibiting and supporting factors for learning Arabic for the students of SMP Muhammadiyah Limbung. Regency. Gowa, South Sulawesi.The results of this study prove that the changes are quite good, and the students are more enthusiastic about learning after getting Arabic learning with the Quantum Teaching model, the students' interest in learning is getting better and the enthusiasm for learning is increasing so that learning can be considered quite effective. Some of the influences that arise are caused by the influence of technological advances, taking emotional approaches and actively establishing communication and then motivating students in need.

Abstract

Pengaruh pembelajaran online terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPS dibimbing oleh Muslimin dan Idawati. Penelitian pada artikel ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran online pada mata pelajaran IPS, 2) mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran online pada mata pelajaran IPS, dan 3) mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran online terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPS. Jenis desain penelitian tersebut adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasinya melibatkan 110 peserta didik di SD Negeri 227 Inpres Takalar II, sedangkan sampelnya melibatkan kelas tinggi yang berjumlah 51 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis regresi jalur dengan bantuan SPSS Versi 24 for windows. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa 1) motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam Pembelajaran online pada mata pelajaran IPS sudah sangat baik, 2) hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran online pada mata pelajaran IPS masih tergolong dalam kategori cukup baik, 3) berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis didapatkan nilai R Square variabel motivasi belajar menunjukkan nilai sebesar 0,079 atau 7,9%, artinya bahwa motivasi belajar dipengaruhi sebesar 7,9% oleh pembelajaran online. Dan nilai R Square variabel hasil belajar menunjukkan nilai sebesar 0,001 atau 0,1%, artinya bahwa hasil belajar dipengaruhi oleh pembelajaran online.

Abstract

This study aims to develop valid, practical, and effective student activity sheets based on scientific literacy. This study uses Research and Development with a 4-D model design developed in four stages: defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. This study involved 36 grade VI elementary school students. Data collection techniques are observation to analyze product needs, questionnaires to determine the validity and practicality of the product, and tests to determine the product's effectiveness. The results showed that the development of student activity sheets based on science literacy in Electrical Energy learning was very valid, practical and effective. Material experts rated it very valid with a final score of 0.81. The results of the practicality of using the teacher and student questionnaires were 3.85, and the value of effectiveness validation using the observation sheet was 3.84 with an N-gain score of 0.75.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the effect of interactive media-based role-playing learning on students' social attitudes and learning outcomes. This study used a Quasi-Experimental Research with a Pretest Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study involved 150 fifth-grade students as the population. The sample was randomly selected based on the B accreditation criteria, resulting in two schools selected as the experimental group consisting of 39 students and the control group consisting of 30 students. Data collection techniques used were observation, documentation, and tests. The tests were used to measure students' social attitudes and learning outcomes. The results showed that interactive media-based role-playing learning had a significant effect on students' social attitudes and learning outcomes. Role-playing learning provides students with opportunities to build knowledge, understand and express their ideas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Guided Inquiry learning model on students' critical thinking skills and science learning outcomes. The type of research used is quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique is a saturated sample, namely fifth grade students of public elementary school 9 West Bangkala, Jeneponto Regency, totaling 56 students. Research data were analyzed through descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using SPSS 22. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the use of guided inquiry learning models can improve critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes compared to those without using the guided inquiry learning model. The results of the study using the inquiry learning model had an effect on critical thinking skills and science learning outcomes for fifth grade students of public elementary school 9 Bangkala Barat, Jeneponto Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to find out about the nature of educational supervision, the role of supervision, the purpose of supervision, principles of supervision, types (styles) of educational supervision. The research was carried out at the base school of the flagship presidential instruction of Putri Taman Sari. In this study using a descriptive literature method, from various sources, namely books, articles, journals, and other reading sources. The objective of creating this interactive media is to facilitate and simplify the process of delivering educational. The result of the evaluation, namely Education Supervision, is a method carried out by school supervisors or school heads with the aim of improving the quality of learning in each educational institution, and includes various interrelated aspects, such as monitoring, guidance, evaluation, and development of teacher professionalism. With the aim of providing assistance and providing convenience to educators in improving their teaching abilities, it aims to realize the learning goals of students to be achieved.

Abstract

Fisika merupakan pembelajaran yang bersifat abstrak dan mengharapkan peserta didik mampu berpikir kritis dan mempraktikkan proses sains dalam pemahaman konsepnya. Sedang observasi awal pada perangkat pembelajaran, khususnya modul pembelajaran belum mengakomodasi keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dalam belajar fisika. Oleh karena itu, peneliti mengembangkan modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis keterampilan proses sains. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Prosedur penelitian terdiri dari tahap pendefenisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yakni tenaga ahli sebagai validator modul, guru mata pelajaran fisika, dan peserta didik SMA Negeri14 Gowa kelas X MIPA 1 sebanyak 36 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran fisika berbasis keterampilan proses sains menggunakan 4 indikator yaitu melakukan pengamatan, mengelompokkan, meprediksi, dan mengkomunikasikan. Hasil penilaian validator terhadap modul diperoleh 0,98% dengan kategori baik, dan efektifitas modul dari angket respon guru diperoleh 80,00% dikategorikan positif, angket respon siswa diperoleh 71,93% dikategorikan positif dan skor keterampilan proses sains diperoleh 85.00% dikategorikan sangat tinggi.
