Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile through Cultural Arts and Crafts Education (SBdP) in Grade IV at SD Inpres Boyantongo. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the research consist of the Grade IV teacher and Grade IV students as supporting subjects to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile. The results of the study indicate that the application of the values of the dimensions within the Pancasila Student Profile in the Cultural Arts and Crafts Education subject has been effectively implemented. During the learning process, the teacher applied the six dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile, which are Faith and Devotion to God Almighty, Global Diversity, Mutual Cooperation, Independence, Critical Reasoning, and Creativity. Religious values and manners are evident in the students' habits of praying and showing respect. In the dimension of global diversity, the teacher created an open classroom atmosphere conducive to discussion. Group activities demonstrated cooperation, while the dimension of independence was observed when students completed individual tasks. The challenges faced included limited learning resources and reading abilities. The teacher employed methods that encouraged active student participation and aimed to develop students' character comprehensively. The SBdP learning can serve as an effective medium for instilling the values of the Pancasila Student Profile if implemented consistently with support from all parties.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the teacher’s role in utilizing audiovisual media to improve the learning outcomes of sixth-grade students at SD Inpres Tulo in Bahasa Indonesia lessons. A descriptive qualitative method was used, employing observation, interviews, and documentation to collect data. The results indicate that audiovisual media significantly enhance students’ cognitive abilities (understanding texts and story structures), affective aspects (learning motivation and positive attitudes), and psychomotor skills (short story writing). Teachers act as designers, facilitators, and evaluators by integrating videos, animations, and audio recordings into lessons, which create an engaging and interactive classroom atmosphere. The average percentage of students who understand narrative structures increased from 40% to 75%, while active participation in discussions rose from 30% to 65%. However, several challenges remain, such as limited facilities and teachers’ technical readiness. The study concludes that well-planned integration of audiovisual media, supported by quality materials and teacher training, can optimize learning outcomes in Bahasa Indonesia. These findings highlight the importance of innovative teaching strategies to meet students’ diverse needs in the modern learning environment. The study suggests continuous improvement in media quality and technical support to overcome existing obstacles and maximize the positive impact on students’ academic performance.

Abstract

This research investigates the teacher’s role in music education for fifth-grade students at SD Islam Alhidayah Besusu. Recognizing that music learning at the elementary level is essential for developing students’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, the study focuses on how teachers act as facilitators, classroom managers, motivators, supervisors, and demonstrators. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation involving a classroom teacher and students. Findings reveal that while the teacher has performed well as a demonstrator and class manager, several challenges persist, including limited musical instruments and the teacher’s lack of formal training in music education. Observations and student questionnaires indicate that students generally perceive the teacher’s efforts positively, especially in creating a conducive learning atmosphere and providing clear demonstrations. Statistical results from the questionnaires show that 62.5% of students state the teacher always gives clear examples before practice, and 50% feel inspired by musical works shown in class. In conclusion, despite facing resource constraints, the teacher’s proactive role significantly supports the effectiveness of music learning. It is recommended that schools provide more comprehensive training and facilities to empower teachers in delivering high-quality music education in primary schools.

Abstract

This study examined the effectiveness of Wordwall interactive media on learning outcomes in Arts, Culture, and Crafts (SBdP) among third-grade elementary students. A pre-experimental design with one-group pretest-posttest was employed, involving 25 students at SD Inpres 1 Kawatuna, Palu, Indonesia, during the 2024/2025 academic year. The intervention consisted of three instructional sessions implementing Wordwall-based activities focused on decorative drawing concepts. Data were collected through validated achievement tests (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.784), observation checklists, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Statistical analyses using SPSS 25 included descriptive statistics, Shapiro-Wilk normality tests, paired-samples t-tests, and normalized gain calculations. Results demonstrated significant improvement from pretest (M = 54.74, SD = 14.04) to posttest (M = 84.21, SD = 11.88), with t(24) = -11.705, p < .001. The mean N-gain score of 0.826 (82.59%) indicated high learning effectiveness according to Hake's classification. These findings suggest that Wordwall significantly enhances student engagement, motivation, and achievement in arts education. However, the single-group design limits causal inferences, as observed improvements may reflect multiple factors including novelty effects and teacher enthusiasm. Future research should employ randomized controlled trials, longitudinal designs, and comparative studies across diverse contexts to establish more robust evidence. Despite methodological limitations, this study contributes valuable preliminary evidence supporting interactive digital media integration in elementary arts and culture education.
