Abstract

SMKS Cigembor menghasilkan lulusan yang belum memuaskan dilihat dari hasil penilaian akhir tahun (PAT) siswa tahun 2022/2023. Beberapa penyebabnya yaitu kurangnya akses teknologi, kurangnya fasilitas sekolah yang menunjang proses pembelajaran, metode mengajar guru yang kurang menarik dan kurang variatif, serta belum ada pelatihan rutin yang dapat mengasah dan memperluas mutu para guru. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pendampingan peningkatan mutu SMKS Cigembor kabupaten Lebak Banten, yaitu terkait manajemen sekolah dan mutu guru. Kegiatan berlangsung selama dua hari secara berturut-turut pada hari kerja. Metode yang digunakan meliputi telaah dokumen, observasi, dan wawancara. Sasaran dalam kegiatan yaitu kepala sekolah dan guru. Pendampingan dilakukan dengan tiga tahap yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi atau umpan balik. Pendampingan berupa: 1) pendampingan manajerial, 2) pendampingan pembelajaran aktif, kreatif, efektif, dan menyenangkan (PAKEM). Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah kepala sekolah mampu menyusun rencana kerja sekolah (RKS) sesuai kriteria serta para guru mampu membuat rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) sesuai tahapan pembelajaran PAKEM.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1) The significant influence of the Superitem learning model on the mathematical problem solving ability of MTSN 3 Cilegon students; 2) How is the mathematical problem solving ability of students given the Superitem learning model based on the Newman procedure. The population in this study is all grade VIII students in MTsN 3 Cilegon for the 2021/2022 academic year in the even semester consisting of 6 classes. The sample was randomly selected, namely class VIII B as the experimental class and VIII D as the control class. The hypothesis test used is the T Test to determine the average difference and the correlation test to determine the effect of variable x with variable y. The results of the hypothesis show that 1) There is a significant influence of the Superitem learning model on students' mathematical problem solving ability by 62% and 38% others are influenced by other factors; 2) Students' mathematical problem-solving skills based on Newman's procedure, there are still many students who do not do the stages of writing answers or re-checking answers. In addition, students often find it difficult when transforming problems and solving problems

Abstract

Model ARCS (attention, relevance, confidence, satisfaction) merupakan salah satu model ajar yang menekankan bagaimana memotivasi siswa di kelas dengan proses belajar yang sesuai kondisi keseharian siswa sehingga mampu meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran dan self confidence siswa. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh model ARCS terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis self confidence siswa setelah diberikan pembelajaran dengan model ARCS. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis eksperimen desain pretest posttest control group desain. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun 2022 dengan sampel kelas VII B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VII A sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan uji t, Effect Size, dan presentase angket. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran ARCS terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis dan self confidence siswa.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the results of previous research, namely that students only reached level 2 of Van Hiele's geometric thinking ability and the motivation for student achievement was low. So that the PARAS learning model was chosen, namely the modification of problems based learning and the ARCS model. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the PARAS learning model on the ability to think geometry and motivation for student achievement. In this research design One-group Pretest-posttest Research Design. The population is mathematics education students of Bina Bangsa Serang University for the 2021-2022 academic year. The sample was selected using the purposive sampling technique, namely the second semester students, totaling 22 students. Data collection techniques with geometric thinking ability tests before and after learning and a questionnaire of motivation to excel after learning. The data analysisis the effect size test, percentage, chi-square test and contingency coefficient. In conclusion, it is known that the effectiveness of the PARAS learning model on students' geometry thinking ability is very high and students have been able to reach the deduction level. For the motivation for student achievement after being given learning with the PARAS learning model, it is concluded that the average is relatively high. Furthermore, it is known that there is no relationship between the motivation to excel and the student's geometric thinking ability. The implication of this study is a modified learning model that can improve the ability to think geometry and motivation for student achievement.

Abstract

Abstrak. Ethnomathematicss-based multy representation discourse is a learning model that emphasizes the use of multi-representation in a classroom setting using cultural relationships in the context of life that can improve students' mathematical communication skills and self-confidence. The purpose of the study was to find out how the influence of the Ethnomathematics based diskursus multy Representation model on students' mathematical communication skills and self-confidence. This study used a type of pretest-posttest control group design experiment. This research was carried out in the even semester of 2022 with samples of class VII B as the experimental class and VII A as the control class. Data collection techniques use tests and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use t-test analysis, Effect Size, and questionnaire percentage. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the influence of the Ethnomathematics based diskursus multy Representation learning model on students' mathematical communication skills is very high and student self-confidence after being given the Ethnomathematics based diskursus multy Representation learning model is relatively high.

Abstract

Problem-solving ability is one of the important competencies that students must have in order to face challenges in everyday life, besides that high interest in learning is also a determining factor for success in the learning process. This study aims: (1) to find out whether there are differences in the initial ability of experimental and control class students, (2) to find out whether students' problem-solving abilities after using the Think Pair Share learning model using the Nearpod application are better than classes given conventional learning, (3) to find out whether students' learning interest after using the Think Pair Share learning model using the Nearpod application is better than the class that given conventional learning. The method in this study is with quantitative methods that are experimental. The population of this study is all grade X students of SMK Insan Cendekia Kragilan in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The sample of this study was 26 X A students as an experimental class and 26 X B students as a control class, so the sample in this study was 52 students. From the calculation results, the Sample t-Test Pretest is obtained, namely the Sig. (2-tailed) Value of 0.163 < 0.05 so that H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected. The posttest t-Test sample is a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it was concluded that: (1) There was no difference in the initial ability of experimental class and control class students (2) The ability to solve problems in Trigonometric material using the Think Pair Share (TPS) Learning Model using the Nearpod application was better than the ability to solve problems using conventional learning models. (2) Student learning interest in Trigonometry material using the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model using the Nearpod application is better than student learning interest using conventional learning models

Abstract

Era digitalisasi telah mendorong terbentuknya ekosistem ekonomi digital yang memanfaatkan layanan keuangan digital. Berbagai aktivitas keseharian kewargaan, mulai dari proses transaksi, jual beli hingga pada pembiayaan telah berbasis layanan digital. Dampak ekosistem digital ini membuat terjadi penguatan inovasi bisnis pegiat UMKM perdesaan terutama yang berciri Kebantenan. Dalam pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Kebon, Kabupaten Serang yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 10 Agustus 2023, telah diberikan pendampingan tentang pentingnya literasi keuangan digital sebagai strategi dalam pengembangan bisnis UMKM Kebantenan. Pendampingan dimulai dengan memperkenalkan layanan keuangan digital, tata cara pemanfaatan teknologi finansial, pengetahuan tentang pinjaman online, berbagai bentuk penipuan digital, keamanan data pribadi dan literasi keuangan digital. Keberhasilan program ini dapat diketahui dari meningkatnya kemampuan para pegiat UMKM Kebantenan dan kewargaan Desa Kebon terhadap pemanfaatan keuangan digital. Dari hasil kegiatan ini diketahui bahwa penguatan literasi keuangan digital berkontribusi sebagai sarana edukasi dan pengetahuan baru bagi pegiat UMKM dalam meningkatkan unit bisnisnya di Desa Kebon, Kabupaten Serang.

Abstract

One crucial aspect that supports the health of the individual body as a whole is oral and dental health, because healthy teeth have an impact on overall body health. Teeth and mouth problems will have an impact on the overall condition of the body, therefore dental health problems require handling and attention from each individual in this case, especially school-age children. However, not a few elementary school children experience many dental errors, especially cavities. So that the purpose of this community service activity is to provide education on dental and oral health maintenance for elementary school students. The selected partners were 40 class III students of MI Ashabul Maimanah. The activity took place by providing counseling in the form of demonstrations and audio visuals. After counseling, students were asked to practice how to brush their teeth and asked to fill out a questionnaire sheet. The result of this activity was that 92.5% of students were classified as good at understanding the importance of brushing their teeth and 85% of students considered brushing their teeth fun. Furthermore, the results of tooth brushing practice are known to 90% of students can brush their teeth properly and correctly

Abstract

Drug cases are not new to the current generation of Indonesians, including in Serang Regency, especially in the Tirtayasa sub-district of Kebon Village. Not a few teenagers in Seda Kebon are plunged into the environment and drug association. This community service activity is a positive activity that aims to provide information and understanding to students about the harmful effects of drug use and how to prevent it in the community and school environment. Service activities were carried out to students of SMK class XI and XII Ashhabul Maimanah Tirtayasa District. Furthermore, students were given questionnaires, and the results were known that with this socialization activity students became more understanding about the dangers and effects of drugs. Students are also aware of the devastating effects and punishments that await when dealing with drugs. Students also understand about the influence of information from family, friends, or related institutions in raising awareness about the dangers of drugs. This conclusion was obtained from the average of students' answers to the questionnaire given by the majority gave very agreeable and affirmative responses
