Abstract

Hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 01 Boyoteluk pada pra siklus yaitu dari 17 siswa yang mendapat nilai belum tuntas sebanyak 12 siswa dengan kkm yang telah ditetapkan yaitu 70 . Hal tersebut karena siswa tidak fokus dan bersemangat ketika proses pembelajaran sehingga siswa tersebut kurang bisa menerima penjelasan dari guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan model Model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbantu video pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi dalam 3 siklus Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbantu media video pembelajaran mengalami kenaikan yang signifikan pada presentase ketuntasan yaitu pada siklus I adalah 29,14%, siklus II 58,82% dan naik menjadi 76,47% di siklus III dengan KKM 70 pada semua siklus.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar tema organ gerak hewan dan manusia dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning pada siswa kelas V SDN Sendang tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif untuk mengetahui hasil belajar tematik siswa dan kualitatif untuk mengetahui aktivitas kinerja guru dan aktivitas siswa selama kegiatan pembelajaran. Keberhasilan penelitian ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan aktivitas kinerja guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar tematik siswa pada tiap siklusnya.  Hasil analisis aktivitas kinerja guru pada siklus I mencapai persentase 77%, siklus II 83%, dan siklus III 88%. Sedangkan persentase aktivitas siswa mencapai 75% pada siklus I, 80% pada siklus II, dan 86% pada siklus III. Peningkatan hasil belajar tematik siswa dilihat dari pencapaian ketuntasan klasikal pada tiap siklusnya. Persentase ketuntasan klasikal pada pra siklus yaitu 33%, pada siklus I 56%, pada siklus II 78%, dan pada siklus III mencapai 89%. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar tema organ gerak hewan dan manusia pada siswa kelas V SDN Sendang tahun pelajaran 2022/2023.

Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah  untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning  (PBL) pada pembelajaran  tematik peserta didik  kelas  II SDN 01 Winduaji. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian  kualitatif.  Jenis Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK).  Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas  II SDN 01 Winduaji yang berjumlah  20  peserta didik.  Teknik pengumpulan data: tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Instrumen dalam penelitian  ini  terdiri  lembar  tes,  lembar  observasi  dan  lembar  dokumentasi.  Dari  hasil  yang  diperoleh  setelah penelitian  menunjukan  bahwa  peningkatan  hasil  belajar  peserta didik  melalui  model  pembelajaran  Problem  Based Learning  (PBL) pada tema 1 Hidup Rukun peserta didik kelas  II SDN 01 Winduaji dapat dilihat melalui hasil  peneilitian  ini  menunjukkan  bahwa  pembelajaran  tema 1 Hidup Rukun  yang  menggunakan  model  pembelajaran Problem Based Learning  (PBL) memiliki dampak yang  positif dalam meningkatkan hasil  belajar peserta didik. Hasil  belajar  peserta didik  yang  sudah  dilaksanakan. Sedangkan pada siklus I menunjukkan hanya 35 % peserta didik yang tuntas dalam pemelajaran, dan siklus II 75%. Pada  siklus  III  Peningkatan  hasil  belajar  peserta didik  secara klasikal telah tercapai 90%. Dengan demikian pembelajaran yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar sesuai dengan hipotesa penelitian yaitu Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Background: During early childhood, a period of rapid growth, malnutrition remained a major concern, with millions of infants worldwide affected by underweight, and stunting. Unresolved, this condition led to poor growth, weakened immunity, and delayed cognitive development. Baby-Led Weaning (BLW), a method where infants aged six months and older self-fed solid foods, offered a potential solution by encouraging food exploration, chewing skills, and appetite. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the impact of BLW-based complementary feeding on infant weight gain.Methods: This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. An accidental sampling technique was used to select 15 infants aged 9 to 24 months. The intervention period lasted for 14 consecutive days, during which the BLW method was implemented at the participants' homes under the guidance of the researcher. Data were collected through observations of infant weight measurements and analyzed using a paired t-test. Results: The study found that the average infant weight increased from 9.53 kg before the BLW intervention to 10.05 kg afterward. A paired t-test revealed a statistically significant difference, with a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). Conclusion: These findings indicate that complementary feeding using the BLW method effectively increased infant weight. Therefore, the BLW approach is recommended for mothers introducing complementary foods, as it may support optimal growth and development in infants.

Abstract

The high prevalence of depression in developed and developing countries requires a relevant intervention to suppress its incidence. Mindfulness-based intervention is given online as a new complementary intervention that can help reduce symptoms of depression. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of online mindfulness-based interventions in reducing depressive symptoms in pregnancy. This research method used a randomized control trial, with 66 participants consisting of the mindfulness-based Intervention (MBI) group of 33 participants and the control group of 33 participants. The MBI intervention was provided for eight weeks online. The study uses simple random sampling. Depression was assessed using DASS 42. Data were tested using the Mann-Whitney U Test and t-test and processed with SPSS version 23. The results showed that there was a significant decrease in depression levels in the online MBI group after being given intervention compared to the control group (7.55 ± 2.181 vs 11.00 ± 2.345) p=0.000. Mindfulness-based intervention online can reduce depressive symptoms in pregnant women, so that the intervention becomes a feasible, cheap and easy intervention for pregnant women in improving mental health. In the future, this research can develop other types of complementary interventions to improve maternal and fetal health.

Abstract

Students need Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) to understand mistakes in scientific writing and achieve conceptual understanding. Background knowledge, age, gender, motivation, and self-regulated learning are affective factors that influence a person's success in acquiring a second language. For this reason, researchers then took self-regulated learning as a moderating variable in this study. The objective of this research is to determine whether there are differences in English writing abilities between students with different self-regulated learning. This study implemented a flipped classroom, while self-regulated learning was the moderator variable. The research method used in this study is a quasi-research with a pre-test and post-test control group design, while the teaching method for the experimental group used a flipped classroom. The participants of this study were 89 students. The study found differences in students' ability to write English based on SLR (Self-regulated learning). Future researchers are recommended to combine Self-Regulated Learning with other independent variables to obtain more diverse and useful data in educational research.

Abstract

The flipped classroom is a possible learning model solution that can be used occasionally. With modification through various media tailored to students' needs, the modified flipped classroom has been proven to improve motivation and results. Studying in English lessons is at the upper middle level. This research aims to identify the influence of learning that a modified flipped classroom helps student worksheets toward English reading comprehension. This research applies quasi-research with a pre-test and post-test control group design. The participants in this research were 89 students. The experimental group (N=44) was taught to use a modified flipped Classroom, and the temporary control group (N=45) was taught to use a flipped Classroom. The researcher used statistical tests factorial anova and found a different understanding of significant reading between the two groups, Where the group that used the modified flipped classroom obtained better results. Research findings: the author tried to conclude that there is a difference in English reading comprehension between group students who received treatment by applying the modified flipped classroom model and those who obtained treatment using the flipped classroom model.

Abstract

In 2020, there are an estimated 727 million elderly over worldwide. In Indonesia, according to the East Java Health Profile, it is stated that the coverage of the elderly who received health services in 2019 was 62.9% of the 5,221,188 elderly (East Java Provincial Health Office, 2020) which is very far from the minimum standard for elderly posyandu services, which is 80%. The purpose of this study was to see whether there was a relationship between the involvement of the elderly in the posyandu for the elderly with family support. The Elderly Posyandu is one of the services for the elderly which includes prevention, improvement, treatment, and healing activities. This study was conducted to see whether there is a relationship between the participation of the elderly in the posyandu for the elderly in relation to support from the family. This writing uses a systematic mapping review design. Using the keywords “Elderly” AND “Family Support” AND “Participation in Elderly Posyandu” OR “Family Support” AND “Elderly” AND “Health Services”. This writing uses a comparison technique. 10 articles were selected using CASP tools and JBI tools. Articles were taken from the Google Scholar database (1 journal), PubMed (2 journals), e-Journal (2 journals), Garuda (3 journals), and Researchgate (2 journals). There is a relationship between the actions of the elderly in attending the posyandu for the elderly with family support, which consists of instrumental assistance, information assistance, assessment assistance, and emotional assistance. From the results of the analysis, it has been found that there is a relationship between the participation of the elderly in the elderly posyandu in relation to family support. We hope that these findings can be used as a basis for analyzing plans to improve health for the elderly

Abstract

Menstrual pain is a condition that bothers most women regardless of age, with the highest percentage being in their teens. Menstrual pain is categorized into mild, moderate, severe and very severe pain. Women who experience menstrual pain can interfere with their activities ranging from daily activities, school to work. One way to reduce menstrual pain non-pharmacologically is to use acupressure. This study aimed to determine the effect of acupressure on menstrual pain in adolescents. This was a literature Review with Systematic Mapping Study (Scoping Study) design. This study used journals published in the last 5 years. The ten journals used were obtained from the Google Schoolar, PubMed and Sciencedirect databases. The journals obtained had passed the selection based on the year of publication, the suitability of the title with keywords, the feasibility of the journal, the ability to access, duplication and inclusion criteria. The journal was then analyzed using the instrument of presenting the results of a literature review. The most widely used acupressure point was sanyinjiao (Sp 6) by pressing or massaging. The intensity of menstrual pain after being given acupressure was decreased, the average pain intensity decreased between before and after being given acupressure starting from a scale of 0.86 to 6.7. The results of the analysis of all journals show P value < a, which meant that there was a significant effect of giving acupressure on decreasing the intensity of menstrual pain in adolescents. Giving acupressure by pressing or massaging certain meridians can increase the levels of endorphins that are useful for reducing the intensity of menstrual pain in adolescents. Education about proper massage techniques will help reduce the level of pain that occurs during menstruation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using dressform media in improving the buttoning skills of fifth-grade students with intellectual disabilities. This media provides children with opportunities to practice repeatedly without pressure, thereby enhancing focus, learning motivation, and self-confidence. This study employed an experimental method using a Single Subject Research (SSR) design with an A–B pattern. The research subject was one female student with a moderate intellectual disability. Data were collected through observation, interviews, buttoning skill tests, and documentation studies. The data were analyzed using visual analysis within and between conditions, including trend direction, data stability, level changes, and data overlap. The results showed that the subject’s buttoning ability during the baseline phase was in a very low and stable category. After the intervention using dressform media, the buttoning ability showed a significant improvement with an increasing and stable data trend. In the second baseline phase, the subject’s ability was maintained at a high level without intervention. Therefore, it can be concluded that dressform media is effective in improving buttoning skills in children with intellectual disabilities.
