Abstract

This study implemented the show and tell method to enhance the speaking skills of 5-6-year-old children at Wonosari Muslimat Kindergarten. Using the Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach with collaborative planning, implementation, and reflection, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Results showed significant improvement, reaching 77.47% proficiency in the second cycle, meeting the 75% target. This research highlights the effectiveness of the show and tell method in improving early childhood speaking skills. Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the education sector experienced a significant impact, which made learning must be done online. This makes people demanded to be able to use technology, especially the parents of kindergarten-elementary students' guardians. Because in order to help work on school assignments given by teachers to students through digital media. In general, teachers on average kindergarten assign assignments at least once per day to students. Then the work is done by making a video of how to work on the assignment and it is done by the student's guardian. So that it is interesting through online media. Ganting Village, is one of the villages that also has a kindergarten school which is directly sheltered by a village government agency. In this condition, it is known that there are still many kindergarten-SD students' parents who are less well off in digital media as a means of running online schools. This situation makes many guardians difficult in facing the Brave school, starting from limited knowledge about technology, the cost of internet quota, which can also have an impact on the impact of interest in learning. The community service program entitled Education on the Use of Audio Visual Applications for Guardian Students in Ganting Facing Village Sekolah Berani Salama during the Pandemic Period aims to provide training to parents of students who currently find it difficult to use social media application technology in completing their child's assignments. The output of this program can be seen with scientific contributions to scientific articles, and video documentation of activities can be displayed via the youtube channel.

Abstract

The Quran is the holy book of Muslims, the Quran memorization program is one of the breakthrough programs used by educators referring to the six scopes of early childhood development, one of which is the moral and religious aspects. This research uses qualitative research. This study focuses on strengthening the ability to memorize the Qur'an through habituation of muroja'ah students at Tk Aisyiyah 1 Candi Memorizing the Qur'an using the murojaah method at Tk Aisyiyah 1 Candi aims to produce a Quranic generation. Therefore, memorizing the Qur'an is used as one of the superior programs that is adjusted to the vision and mission of Tk Aisyiyah 1 Candi. Why does Tk Aisyiyah use the murojaah method because it is one of the determinants of success in memorization. The class teacher applies the murojaah method by repeating the previous verse and continuing the next verse by reading Surah An-Naba verses 10-15 and repeating verses 5-10, after listening students are asked to repeat the reading one by one Implementation of the muraja'ah method by using the muraja'ah memorization deposit program to the teacher to make it easier for students to maintain memorization of the Qur'an so that it is not easy for students to forget it. The implementation of this muraja'ah method can be done anytime and anywhere, because the process of implementing this muraja'ah method is not bound by time as long as there is a will.

Abstract

Discipline is one of the characters that needs to be applied from an early age, especially by parents. The fact is that there are still many parents who do not understand and are moved to apply disciplinary behavior to their children. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of teachers in optimizing the development of discipline application from early childhood. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of research used, namely descriptive qualitative research. Data collection was carried out using interview, observation and documentation methods. Sources of research data are the principal, 1 assistant teacher or companion teacher 2 and 68 students. The researcher is the core instrument in the research and uses supporting instruments in the form of interview guidelines, observation guidelines. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis from Miles & Huberman using an interactive model. The results showed that the teacher's role in children's discipline is as a good role model for children, teachers as educators and mentors by introducing and familiarizing children with discipline in everyday life, and teachers as evaluators. The teacher's efforts in implementing discipline are exemplary, habituation, and using reward and punishment methods. Factors that hinder teachers in implementing children's disciplinary attitudes are external factors, namely family, community environment, internal factors of hyperactive or tantrum children's attitudes. The supporting factor is the role of parents who are willing to cooperate well in developing their children's disciplinary attitudes. It can be concluded that teachers have an important role in shaping student discipline at school.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Dharma Wanita Persatuan Balonggabus melalui penerapan pembelajaran inquiry. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang dilakukan sebanyak 4 kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu kelompok B di TK Dharma Wanita Persatuan Balonggabus yang berjumlah 22 anak yang terdiri dari 12 anak laki-laki dan 10 anak perempuan. Empat tahapan penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipakai dalam penelitian yaitu observasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi dengan dua jenis analisa data yang digunakan yakni kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Penelitian pra tindakan dilakukan untuk mengetahui hasil persentase awal kemampuan berpikir kritis anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui pembelajaran inquiry. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata kelas pada pra intervensi sebesar 32,22%, meningkat pada siklus I yakni sebesar 70,05%, dan pada siklus II sebesar 93,45%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pembelajaran inquiry dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis anak usia 5-6 tahun, terbukti hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan mencapai indikator keberhasilan sebesar 75%. Peneliti menyarankan guru untuk menggunakan berbagai strategi pembelajaran, termasuk Strategi Pembelajaran Inquiry, untuk terus meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa.

Abstract

General Background: Food innovation leveraging local ingredients offers a strategic avenue for enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in the food sector. Specific Background: Kalikatir Village has untapped potential in processing agricultural waste, particularly Raja Nangka banana peels, which are rich in fiber and antioxidants, into value-added food products. Knowledge Gap: Despite the nutritional potential of banana peel waste, its application in functional food products remains limited, and there is a lack of systematic training and support for UMKM in this domain. Aims: This study aims to optimize the use of banana peel waste through comprehensive training on flour production, cookie formulation, and UMKM mentoring in production and marketing practices. Results: The initiative demonstrated that cookies made from Raja Nangka banana peel flour possess enhanced nutritional content, especially in terms of fiber and antioxidants, while maintaining consumer-acceptable taste, texture, and aroma. Novelty: This project introduces an innovative utilization of banana peel waste as a sustainable raw material, combining food innovation with capacity-building for local entrepreneurs. Implications: The activity not only promotes the diversification of local food products and reduces production costs but also strengthens UMKM skills and supports environmental sustainability. These outcomes contribute to community economic development and highlight the importance of sustainable food systems. Further research is recommended to refine product formulations and conduct market studies to support broader commercialization. Abstract

Food innovation based on local ingredients is a strategy for developing Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in the food sector. Kalikatir Village has the potential to utilize waste from Raja Nangka banana peels which are rich in fiber and antioxidants to be processed into flour as raw material for cookies. This study aims to optimize the utilization of banana peel waste through training in making flour, cookie formulation, and mentoring UMKM in production and marketing. The results of the activity show that Raja Nangka banana peel flour increases the nutritional value of cookies, especially the fiber and antioxidant content. The resulting cookie products have a taste that is acceptable to consumers, a crunchy texture, and a distinctive aroma. In addition, this activity improves the skills of UMKM actors, reduces raw material costs, and opens up opportunities for diversification of local food-based products. The synergy of food innovation and UMKM empowerment contributes to increasing the added value of agricultural waste, supporting environmental sustainability, and encouraging community economic growth. Further research is needed to optimize formulations and market studies to expand the scale of production.

Abstract

Pengenalan huruf merupakan suatu kesatuan yang sangat terpadu dari kegiatan membaca, yang mencakup beberapa kegiatan seperti mengenal kata, menghubungkan dengan bunyi dan lain-lain. Proses mengenal huruf sejalan serta proses kecakapan berbahasa secara fisik dan psikologis. Proses yang bersifat fisik menggambarkan kegiatan mengamati tulisan secara visual, anak mengenal dan membedakan gambar-gambar bunyi dan kombinasinya. Proses psikologi merupakan kegiatan berpikir dalam mengolah informasi. Media kartu huruf ialah kartu kecil yang berisi gambar, soal, konseep atau tanda simbol yang mengenalkan atau menuntun anak kepada sesuatu yang berhubungan dengan materi yang sedang dipelajari. Kartu tersebut biasanya berukuran 8x12 cm atau bisa disesuaikan dengan besar kecilnya yang dihadapi. Berdasarkan data awal di TK Dharma Wanita Persatuan Sumorame Candi Sidoarjo terdapat 3 siswa yang belum mampu mengenal huruf dari 15 siswa. Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal huruf pada saat pembelajaran yang disampaikan oleh guru. Penelitian ini adalah pnelitian tindakan kelas yang dimana dapat memperbaiki kondisi di dalam kelas dengan menggunakan suatu tindakan agar berjalan dengan baik. Hasil peningkatan pada penelitian ini mencapai nilai 86,22 % yang dikatakan berhasil.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis perkembangan karakter mandiri pada anak usia 4-5 tahun yang menghadiri RA AR-RAHMAH Tenggulunan, Candi Sidoarjo. Dengan menerapkan metodologi penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, peneliti menggunakan observasi dan wawancara untuk mengumpulkan data. Penelitian ini menghasilkan hasil yang positif, dengan implementasi pendidikan karakter mandiri ditemukan memainkan peran penting, terutama sebagai pilar kedua dalam pengembangan karakter. Selain itu, studi ini mengidentifikasi berbagai faktor yang baik mendukung maupun menghambat dalam proses pembentukan karakter mandiri pada anak-anak. Melalui pemeriksaan menyeluruh terhadap faktor-faktor tersebut, penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang dinamika yang terlibat dalam menanamkan kemandirian pada pembelajar muda.
