Abstract

This study aimed to examine the implementation of Creative Problem Solving learning model is better than direct learning model on students’ creative thinking skills in Basic Programming subject in SMKN 1 Soppeng. This research type was experimental research. The nonequivalent control group design was used as experimental design with the samples of 60 students. The data were collected through creative thinking skill test and questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results obtained in this study indicate that the students’ creative thinking skills are better in the implementation of Creative Problem Solving learning model than the direct learning model in Basic Programming subject in SMKN 1 Soppeng. Based on the aforementioned results, it can be concluded that there are differences in student’s creative thinking skills in the implementation of Creative Problem Solving learning model and the implementation of direct learing model in Basic Programming subject in SMKN 1 Soppeng.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs for educational media that can enhance students' learning through mixed reality education using industrial control techniques. There are thirty research subjects at Politeknik Bosowa Makassar. This research is an R&D study using the SAVAR (Substitution, Augmentation, Virtual Learning, Apply and Re-evaluation) model. Mixed reality is a technology of unity Augmented reality and virtual reality. The results of this research are an analysis of the execution of the project and a study of the student's characteristics.

Abstract

The process of controlling irrigation doors in fishponds is still mostly done manually, this results in the performance of farmers being less effective and efficient. Current technological developments, especially in the field of IoT, can be used to design a simulation that is able to control irrigation gates automatically. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the ATmega16-based automatic irrigation gate simulation tool can work well according to the designed working principle. If the condition of fishpond water is less than the ideal height of the fishpond and the condition of river water is more than the height of the fishpond, the motor will move to "open" the irrigation door to fill fishpond water. If the fishpond water condition is more than the ideal height and the river water condition is less than the fishpond height, the motor will move to "open" the irrigation door to discharge fishpond water and if the river water condition is the same as the fishpond water condition, the motor will move "close” the irrigation door so that the ideal height of the fishpond can be achieved. There are certain conditions to control the door manually using the SMS Gateway. Information about the maximum or minimum fishpond water level will be displayed on the LCD to determine the maximum or minimum fishpond height using Keypad.

Abstract

Bahaya kelistrikan, khususnya arc flash, tetap menjadi risiko kritis dalam sistem kelistrikan industri, terutama pada fasilitas minyak dan gas di mana keselamatan dan kontinuitas operasional sangat penting. Arc flash dapat melepaskan energi termal ekstrem dalam hitungan milidetik, yang berpotensi menyebabkan luka bakar serius, kerusakan peralatan, hingga kematian. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memitigasi risiko arc flash pada instalasi listrik stasiun pengumpul minyak dengan menggunakan ETAP (Electrical Transient Analyzer Program) dan standar NFPA 70E (2024). Analisis difokuskan pada dua Motor Control Center (MCC-1 dan MCC-2) tegangan rendah dalam dua skenario: normal (AF-1) dan terburuk (AF-2). Simulasi ETAP menunjukkan bahwa pada AF-1, MCC-1 menghasilkan 22,21 cal/cm² pada jarak 9,17 m dengan arus 5,29 kA, dan MCC-2 sebesar 33,36 cal/cm² pada 10,21 m dengan 5,05 kA. Pada AF-2, MCC-1 mencapai 21,50 cal/cm² dan MCC-2 sebesar 30,50 cal/cm². Penilaian risiko semi-kuantitatif menggunakan matriks keparahan (Se) dan kemungkinan (Lo) menghasilkan skor awal 12 (tinggi) dengan Se = 4 dan Lo = 3. Upaya mitigasi seperti peningkatan peralatan, pengendalian administratif, dan APD menurunkan Lo menjadi 2, sehingga risiko sisa turun menjadi 8 (sedang). Studi ini menekankan pentingnya pendekatan mitigasi terintegrasi dan merekomendasikan riset lanjutan pada pemodelan prediktif dan pemantauan arc flash secara real-time.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of intern students in supporting information systems and service quality at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, Regional Office of Southern Sumatra (Kanwil Sumbagsel). The issues examined focus on the contribution of intern students to the optimization of administration and public services, particularly in the Supervision and Inspection Division (Wasrik) and the Archives Division. This study aims to describe the forms of intern student involvement and their impact on institutional performance. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method to depict the activities and roles of students in supporting the institution’s work system. The descriptive analysis of the data indicates that intern students play a role in archive management and digitization, verification of company documents, checking participant data through the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan information system, and providing administrative support for services. This involvement contributes to improved administrative orderliness, data accuracy, work efficiency, and the development of students’ professional skills.
