Abstract

Floods are natural events that occur in areas with high river discharge. This research focuses on seasonal flooding events in Cenrana Sub-district triggered by high rainfall and flooding in the upper reaches of the Walannae River in Wajo Regency. Factors such as slope, elevation, soil type and land use are thought to influence flooding. In addition to physical aspects, vulnerability factors including physical, social and economic vulnerability also play a role in the impact of post-flood disasters. The research methodology used Weighted Overlay analysis based on vulnerability parameters through scoring method to assess the level of flood risk and qualitative descriptive analysis method for control measures in Cenrana Sub-district. The results showed a low flood risk area of 41.55 km2, a medium risk area of 76.65 km2, and a high risk area of 25.25 km2. Disaster control strategies must consider the risk classification of the affected area, where high-risk areas require building regulation policies along rivers and seas, integrated disaster insurance, and medium-risk areas that require irrigation and drainage systems, as well as disaster education for residents. This research provides valuable insights for local governments in formulating flood disaster management policies and serves as a reference for studying risk mapping in the future.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The dirty word shows the dirty habits and the dusty habits in hell.” (HR Al-Bukhari and At-Tirmidzi) In today’s advanced internet world, interpersonal communication is as far away as possible. People in one country can communicate with other people in different countries at the same time. Especially with social media. In short, the problem of interpersonal communication in this century is relatively no obstacle, it is considered something less if no communication funds talk about things that are not important and have interest.  And the problem is the content or material of that communication which then becomes a discussion among the wider community. Islamic communications include all the teachings of Islam, including Akidah (belief), Shariah (Islam), and Akhlak. (ihsan).In the Qur’an and Hadith there are guidelines for good and effective communication. We can describe it as a rule, principle, or ethics of communicating in the perspective of Islam.  Keywords: Hadiths, honest, responsible communication

Abstract

Parents play a very important role in the process of child personality development. The role of parents is to be aware of the child's condition and focus on understanding good examples of his character. Especially with the current rise in bullying cases, the role of parents is very important in shaping children's character so that they do not become victims or perpetrators. The reason for carrying out this investigation is the prevalence of bullying among minors, which is a serious problem and requires follow-up action. The aim of this research is to clarify the role of parents in developing children's character in responding to bullying. The method used in this research is qualitative method. Research shows that parents have a very important role in the development of a child's personality. Because, the first people who model their behavior are their parents. Parents can instill character in their children by setting an example, doing good deeds, communicating, and involving children in activities at home. Therefore, the character that parents instill in their children from an early age will make them more confident, strong and able to appear assertive in their environment. To combat bullying, parents must educate and strengthen their children to be fearless and self-confident, empowering them to choose friends at social gatherings and even to protect themselves and even seek revenge.

Abstract

This article aims to examine persuasive communication strategies used by property agents in increasing consumer buying interest. This study uses a qualitative approach to the literature study method through the review of books and academic publications that are relevant to persuasive communication, marketing communication, the role of property agents, and consumer buying interests. The results show that persuasive communication has an important role in influencing consumer attitudes, perceptions, and purchasing interests in the property sector involving high transaction value and long-term decisions. Effective persuasive communication strategies include interpersonal approaches, clear and transparent delivery of information, tailoring messages to consumer needs, and building trust between agents and consumers. The strategy is able to reduce consumer doubts and strengthen confidence in purchasing decision making. This article concludes that persuasive communication strategies are an important factor in increasing consumer buying interest as well as building long-term relationships in property marketing

Abstract

ABSTRACTNationalism and empiricism, because accounting uses thought to examine the data of accounting transactions used in the preparation of financial reports. This fact is something that can be answered accurately by the human senses. As a component of axiology or in accounting studies, accounting science is used as part of the accounting profession. Accounting science explains how financial reporting processes and transaction relationships affect each other in epistemology. The study examines accounting science from a theoretical perspective with a focus on epistemological aspects. This is crucial because philosophically accounting can be trapped in a science trap if it does not understand these aspects in a field of science. (Suwardi, 1999). The structure of the discussion in this study begins with a discussion of God's early command to carry out accounting. Next, we will discuss the philosophy of accounting from an epistemological point of view. The Islamic concept of accounting is discussed in the next section, and we will deduce the Islamic epistemological side of accountancy.Keywords: Ontology, Accounting Education, Implementation

Abstract

Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik (KKN-T) Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati (UGJ) di Desa Mirat bertujuan untuk mendampingi masyarakat dalam mengembangkan potensi lokal, khususnya di sektor UMKM. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya pelaku usaha UMKM cuing di Desa Mirat dan kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang inovasi produk, sertifikasi halal dan legalitas usaha. Es Cuing merupakan minuman atau jajanan tradisional yang berbahan Daun Cuing (Cyclea barbata). Metode yang digunakan adalah pendampingan partisipatif yang melibatkan langsung masyarakat dan perangkat desa, serta sosialisasi dan pelatihan terkait strategi pemberdayaan UMKM melalui inovasi produk dan legalitas usaha. Hasil dari pendampingan ini adalah pelaku UMKM cuing di Desa Mirat bisa berinovasi dan mempunyai legalitas usaha seperti sertifikat halal dan NIB (Nomor Induk Berusaha). Keberhasilan program ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan pendampingan yang tepat, masyarakat desa mampu mengoptimalkan potensi yang ada, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi serta berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan UMKM cuing di Desa Mirat.
