Abstract

The increase in theft motorcycle is influenced by the increased of purchasing power towards motorbikes. The theft was due to lack of security in those motorcycles. Form this problem, a motorcycle safety system is made. To make this system an Arduino Uno with C language programming is required to turn on and turn off a motorcycle. Form the test results, the system can turn on and turn off motorcycle when it is needed form different place to avoid that theft. If the motorcycle ON, the LED indicator lamp will turn on and if the motorcycle is OFF the LED indicator light will turn off too. Abstract

Technological developments facilitate human’s performance in determining decisions, one of these technologies is a prediction system that predicts future decisions. An example of prediction system of study programs. Choosing a study program is a decision-making process that requires consideration for prospective new students, because the majors to be chosen are very diverse. Based on these conditions, Prediction System of a Study Program Selection is built. The prediction system is designed using PHP Hypertext Preprocessor programming language which inserted into HTML document to run a web-based system on server side to get dynamic processing forms. Every created page will change according to user’s inputs. All processes in server are not visible for clients. Data storage uses My Structured Query Language (MySQL) server database as an interactive language in managing data. Each client can make a request by typing a specific SQL statement so that the MySQL server will respond by providing the requested information and it will appear on the client side. This system can provide references and recommendations for Prospective New Students in choosing the Undergraduate Study Program to be taken later. After testing system, results of the system carried out. It can be concluded that Prediction System of Study Program Selection can make easier to provide references and recommendations for Prospective New Students in choosing the right Study Programs through web browser. Abstract

Cryptography has been aplicated into securing information. Cryptography divided into two types, Symmetric and Asymmetric Cryptography. Symmetric Cryptography commonly used for encrypt a file, while Asymmetric Cryptography used for create public key and private key for key exchange.. Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) is the one of asymmetric cryptography that is commonly used for create a secure public and private key depending on the bit length of ECC, in this research use 521-bit length. Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is the one of symmetric cryptography has been used as a standard for securing private data, in this research use 256-bit length. AES and ECC are provided by National Security of Standards and Technology (NIST) as a standard for national security applications. The system in this research created into Web Application base using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. The results obtained from this research is the system can encrypt and decrypt any type of file like systems, videos, documents, images and audios file and has avalanche effect property.Keywords: Securing Information, Cryptography, ECC P-521, AES-256, Web Application

Abstract

The cashier is the person who receives and returns the remaining money to the customer. One of cashier's most important problems is the absence of modern tools, such as barcode scanners, which can simplify the cashier's performance in calculating the total amount of purchases by customers. That's why we need a cash register application with Android. The Waterfall method used by the author, because the process is carried out one by one, so that any errors can be resolved first before proceed to the next step. The application can scan more than one items simultaneously. Simultaneous scanning testing is performed with four items at once with different barcode sizes and is performed at different distances. Abstract

Library is a room containt collection books arranged in such way, so it is easy to be found and used if needed any time by readers. In its management, Library still uses manual services. To facilitate library management process, Library Information System is created using PHP. The research produce an Information System that can make easier in managing process of information access, library data, member registration, book searching, and book booking. Initially, the library was managed manually in hardcopy form. And now, by using this information system so all data in this library can be stored in database. All reports can be printed out when needed, either seen in Library Information System. To use this system, all library members must register and login first. Abstract

Effata Shine Kindergarten and Elementary School is located in Rokan Hilir District, Riau Province. To manage student grade, school still use manual method of recording on paper each student’s grade. So that not a few paper are lost due to slipping or even lost due to accidential wasted. This research aim to help the speed and quality of teacher in delivery of information as well as processing student grades and parents can monitor children’s grade and children’s attitude online. This information system uses the PHP programming language, HTML Javascript, MySQL and CSS Web Server for system design using XAMPP. Software system development is created using the waterfall method. Login menu design consisting of perents of students, homeroom teachers, subject teachers, and administrators have different access rights according to their respective interests. This system work to enter dan store data, student assessment and student final grade reports, so that it is easier to find out student grades that will be submitted by the school. This research resulted in a value processing information system that helps the work homeroom teachers and subject teachers in conducting the processing of value of students in order to manage value can be processed more efficiently and effectively, so that student's value information can be delivered well to parents online. System interface views are also created according to the existing report view so that the system can be used easily and generates accurate value calculations. Abstract

Internet Service Providers (ISP), better known as internet service providers, are manufacturers or institutions that provide internet connection services and other related services. To monitor the stability of the Provider network, a Quality of Service (QoS) parameter is needed as a standard for testing the quality of internet services, for example when uploading videos, the traffic load on the internet network will increase. . Quality of Service (QoS) is carried out by monitoring the access speed of Telkomsel providers with the delay parameter as a determining point. The results of Quality of Service research when uploading videos with 360p resolution for 3 days using a Telkomsel provider in the morning obtained the lowest delay value with an average of 1.17 milliseconds (ms) and the highest delay value was obtained during the day 1.81 milliseconds (ms). with good quality according to TIPHON standard. From these results it can be concluded that the higher the delay value of a data, the slower the network speed.Keywords : ISP, Upload, Delay, QoS

Abstract

At this time, Indonesia is ranked first with the highest number of stroke cases in Asia. This makes the problem of stroke in Indonesia needs special attention. Therefore, this study tried to apply the Forward Chaining method to the early detection system for stroke to see the percentage and type of stroke suffered by the user. The variables used include the types of stroke, symptom data of the types of stroke, and the certainty factor value determined by the expert. The output is the percentage and type of stroke suffered by the user. Abstract

Implementation of Physical Freshness Test today is done manually which makes the executive officer TKJI have difficulties in calculating the results of the test participants. TKJI application is an application used to facilitate TKJI officers in carrying out tests Physical Freshness. TKJI application used for participants aged 16-19 years based on Android. There are five criteria were used that test run Sprint 60 Meter, Test Suspension Lift Body, Baring Test Sitting, Upright Skip Test, Test Medium 1200 Meter Sprint. Usability Testing Results of this study of 20 respondents with 19 questions obtained results revealed 90.25% Very Worthy. The purpose of this research is to develop software applications Physical Freshness Android-Based Test to assist in the implementation and measurement of results TKJI. Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Terintegrasi Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) Universitas Riau merupakan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat dosen yang dijalankan secara bersamaan dengan kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KUKERTA) mahasiswa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dirancang berdasarkan kebutuhan masyarakat lokasi Kukerta. Kegiatan pengabdian kali ini berupa penerapan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dengan merancang sebuah alat Sistem Smart Monitoring Kualitas Air berbasiskan internet of thing (IoT) di Kelurahan Tirta Siak, Payung Sekaki, Pekanbaru. Alat ini mengubah cara pengujian air baku yang konvensional yang biasanya dilakukan dengan cara membawa sampel ke laboratorium. Sistem Smart Monitoring Kualitas Air Sungai ini menguji sampel air dengan meletakkan sensor kekeruhan dan pH di lokasi yang ditentukan, kemudian data diproses oleh Arduino Mega 2560 untuk melakukan pembacaan nilai parameter pH dan kekeruhan air sungai, nilai yang didapat dari proses pengukuran tersebut dikonversikan dari bentuk analog ke bentuk digital untuk ditampilkan ke antar muka berupa website. Dengan adanya alat ini diharapkan kualitas air Sungai Siak di titik lokasi dimana alat dipasang dapat terpantau. Sehingga dengan adanya pemantauan secara langsung dengan data real time ini dapat pula merubah perilaku masyarakat terutama masyarakat Pekanbaru terhadap kualitas air Sungai Siak dengan demikian kebersamaan masyarakat dalam menjaga kualitas lingkungan akan terbangun.
