Abstract

This research project aims to examine the management of sustainable productive waqf at the Manarul Ilmi ITS Foundation and assess its suitability from a Maqâshid Syariah perspective. It used a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through interviews with foundation administrators (nazhir), waqf fund managers, and donors (waqif). Additionally, the researchers conducted direct observations of the waqf business unit and analysed supporting documents, such as programmes and financial reports. The results showed that the management of productive waqf at the Manarul Ilmi Foundation includes asset development in the form of waqf funds from alums and benefactors, as well as thematic programmes such as well waqf, mosque design waqf, and scholarships. However, the sustainability aspect has not yet been fully incorporated into long-term strategic planning or social impact measurement. From a Maqâshid Syariah perspective, this management fulfils several aspects, such as hifz al-din (through mosque utilisation and da'wah), hifz al-'aql (through scholarship waqf), and hifz al-nafs (through well waqf). However, the hifz al-mal aspect still requires improvement in efficiency, transparency, and reinvestment of waqf proceeds. This research recommends that foundations develop a productive waqf governance system based on sharia maqâshid indicators, strengthening public engagement and institutional documentation to ensure the long-term benefits of the waqf.

Abstract

The practice of polygamy, especially in the form of marriage applications for fourth wives, still raises legal and ethical debates in Indonesian society. The Malang City Religious Court Decision Number 1471/Pdt.G/2024/PA.MLG is an interesting case. Which granted the application. This study aims to analyze the judge's reasoning in the decision through the perspective of Maqāṣid al- Sharī'ah according to Imam al-Syāṭibī, to evaluate the extent to which the decision is in line with the five main objectives of the Shari'ah (al-kulliyyāt al-khamsah). The research method used is qualitative with a normative juridical approach, focusing on analyzing legal documents, court decisions, and relevant literature. The results showed that although the petition was granted formally, not all aspects of maqāṣid, such as the protection of the soul (ḥifẓ al-nafs), offspring (ḥifẓ al- nasl), and property (ḥifẓ al-māl) were fulfilled thoroughly. The application of maqāṣid is still partial and tends toward administrative justification. The implications of this finding emphasize the importance of comprehensively strengthening the maqāṣid al-shari'ah approach in family law considerations so that the policies taken are not only legally valid but also reflect the value of justice and substantial benefit as the main objectives of Islamic law.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah, one of Indonesia’s largest Islamic organizations, is renowned for its contributions to religion, education, healthcare, social welfare, and the economy. Through its business entities, Muhammadiyah offers products and services grounded in Islamic values, catering to both its members and the broader public. In East Java’s increasingly competitive market, understanding the factors that shape consumer trust in Muhammadiyah’s products is essential. This study examines the impact of brand awareness, service quality, promotions, location, satisfaction, and pricing on consumer trust, and how trust, in turn, influences purchasing decisions. Using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), the results indicate that service quality, brand awareness, and location significantly affect consumer trust, with service quality emerging as the most influential factor. Notably, location exerts a negative effect, suggesting the presence of localized consumer perceptions. Consumer trust is found to significantly mediate purchasing decisions. The model demonstrates solid explanatory power, with R² values of 0.543 for trust and 0.293 for purchasing decisions, and a Goodness of Fit (GoF) score of 0.562. These findings imply that Muhammadiyah should prioritize enhancing service quality, bolstering brand awareness, and reevaluating its location strategies to strengthen consumer relationships and maintain market competitiveness.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengelolaan wakaf yang profesinal menjadi masih menjadi tantangan bagi para pengelola wakaf, khususnya Pengelola Wakaf Muhammadiyah di Surabaya. Berada di wilayah perkotaan dan padat penduduk sehingga keberadaan lahan wakaf terkadang sulit untuk dimanfaatkan dengan baik. Membutuhakan kajian yang lebih dalam menentukan pengelolaan dan pendayagunaan harta wakaf. Kondisi tersebut tentu perlu adanya peran nadzir dalam melakukan pendayagunaan wakaf sehingga menjadi wakaf yang produktif. Persoalanya adalah rendahnya literasi wakaf dan skill pengelolaan harta wakaf sehingga pendayagunaan harta wakaf belum optimal menuju wakaf produktif. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pendampingan peningkatan profesionalitas nazhir wakaf dalam upaya optimalisasi pendayagunaan harta wakaf untuk lebih produktif dan berkelanjutan melalui GNE (Good Nazhir Education) Apps. Metode pelaksanaan program ini terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap implementasi, tahap monitoring dan evaluasi, tahap penyusunan laporan pelaksanaan kegiatan dan keberlanjutan program. Hasil yang telah dicapai adalah 1) Pengelola wakaf (nadzir) memahami perannya sampai dengan pendayagunaan harta wakaf. 2) Pengelola wakaf (nadzir) memiliki peningkatan literasi pemahaman dalam mendayagunakan harta wakaf menjadi lebih produktif dan berkelanjutan. 3) Inovasi GNE Apps dapat dimanfaatkan oleh nadzir dalam peningkatan literasi wakaf. Abstract

Economic growth is a main indicator in assessing the development of a country, which is influenced by various factors, including financing distributed by Islamic banking. This research aimed to analyze the influence of working capital financing and consumptive financing by Islamic commercial banks on economic growth in Indonesia. The method used a quantitative approach with the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) model to analyze the short-term and long-term relationship between the variables of working capital financing, consumptive financing, and economic growth. The data used monthly time series data from the official reports of the Financial Services Authority and the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency for the 2014–2023 period which is processed using Eviews 13. The results showed that consumptive financing had a significant influence on economic growth in the short term. However, the impact is not long-lasting and tends to subside in the long term. In contrast, working capital financing has no direct influence on economic growth in the short term, but in the long term it showed that a stronger linkage to economic growth through increased productivity and investment. This research showed that although consumptive financing can drive economic growth in the short term through increased consumption, the impact is less sustainable compared to working capital financing which contributes more to long-term economic growth. Therefore, the optimization of working capital financing in Islamic banking needed to be increased to support more stable and sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze marketing strategies in improving Easy Wadiah Savings products at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) KCP Rungkut 1. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is obtained through direct interviews with the bank as well as related documentation and literature. The results of the study indicate that BSI KCP Rungkut 1 has implemented a marketing strategy based on a marketing mix (7P), which includes products, prices, places, promotions, processes, human resources, and physical evidence. Strategies such as direct reward programs, QRIS cashback promotions, customer education, and community approaches have proven effective in attracting customer interest, especially micro segments such as housewives, students, and MSMEs. The main obstacles faced are low sharia financial literacy and competition with conventional banks. Therefore, increasing community-based literacy and optimizing local digital marketing strategies are important recommendations to strengthen the competitiveness of Easy Wadiah Savings products. This study is expected to be a reference for sharia financial institutions in designing more effective and sustainable marketing strategies.

Abstract

This paper is studying development of legal though engendered by Majlis Tarjih Muhammadiyah. Development of human interaction is very balance with the need of law as human control. However, it has unbalance relation with the law product which is produced. Therefore, it should produce the new law product as a human life foundation which has not been punished explicitly in al-Quran and al-Hadits. This matter needs concrete action in looking for new law from both sources of Moslem which are called ijtihad. This action is developed widely by social-religious organization such as Muhammadiyah. Furthermore this organization established Majlis Tarjih in 1927 as a place for ijtihad which is grown till now. In its actions, Muhammadiyah has made several law-thinking which follow the methods development of ijtihad, branding, and also it is not far from the recent situation and condition.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena berkembangnya usaha mikro masyarakat di Dusun Montor Tengah Kabupaten Pamekasan yang berupaya menerapkan nilai-nilai Islam dalam tata kelolanya. Namun, di tengah semangat religius tersebut, masih ditemukan berbagai tantangan seperti keterbatasan produk halal, rendahnya literasi keuangan syariah, dan akses terbatas terhadap pembiayaan tanpa riba. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tata kelola warung kelontong dari perspektif hukum ekonomi syariah dengan meninjau kesesuaian praktik usaha terhadap prinsip keadilan (al-‘adalah), kejujuran (ash-shidq), dan transparansi (al-bayyinah). Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, penelitian ini menggali pengalaman dan persepsi para pemilik warung melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para pelaku usaha telah berupaya menjaga kehalalan produk, memisahkan keuangan pribadi dan usaha, serta menerapkan pengupahan adil dan sedekah rutin sebagai bagian dari keberkahan usaha. Temuan penting menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai syariah dapat diterapkan secara adaptif dalam konteks ekonomi desa meskipun masih menghadapi kendala struktural dan manajerial. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi antara pelaku usaha, lembaga keuangan syariah, dan pemerintah daerah untuk memperkuat literasi, akses modal halal, serta menjadikan warung kelontong sebagai model ekonomi mikro berbasis syariah yang berkeadilan dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya Peningkatan dan penguatan kinerja dari sumber daya manusia juga menjadi hal yang perlu dipersiapkan sebagai tuntutan serta tantangan dalam persaingannya menghadapi masyarakat ekonomi. Permasalahan yang akan dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah Pelatihan dan Pemberian Insentif Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT. BPRS Bhakti Sumekar Kantor Cabang Pamekasan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh yang signifikan pada pelatihan terhadap kinerja karyawan, (2) untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh yang signifikan pada pemberian insentif terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan (3) untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh signifikan secara bersama-sama antara 2 variabel pelatihan dan pemberian insentif terhadap kinerja karyawan Bank BPRS Bhakti Sumekar Kantor Cabang Pamekasan. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan dengan metode asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang akan menitik beratkan pada pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan dengan mengunakan analisis statistik regresi linear berganda dengan teknik pengumpulan data primer yang diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner yang diisi oleh karyawan Bank BPRS Bhakti Sumekar Kantor Cabang Pamekasan. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Probability sampling. Dan sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 35 orang karyawan. Hasil dari uji hipotesis menyatakan bahwa variabel pelatihan (X1) diperoleh nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel yaitu 3.498 > 2.03693, dengan nilai tingkat signifikan sebesar 0.001 < 0.05. artinya pelatihan mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Selanjutnya variabel pemberian insentif (X2) diperoleh nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel yaitu 2.069 > 2.03693, dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0.047 < 0.05. artinya pemberian insentif mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Besarnya pengaruh variabel pelatihan (X1) dan pemberian insentif (X2) dapat dilihat dari nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) yang besarnya adalah 0.339 atau 33,9%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 66,1% di pengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak di teliti dalam penelitian ini. Kata kunci: Pelatihan, Pemberian Insentif, Kinerja Karyawan.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe thesis entitled "Legal Analysis of Islamic Economics on the Practice of Buying and Selling at Bai 'Al-Wafa' Products in Bmt Ugt Sidogiri, Bulak Rukem Branch Surabaya, is motivated by the customer's need for money so that customers sell their valuables to BMT UGT Sidogiri to get money but in the sales process there is an agreement that the goods purchased by BMT UGT Sidogiri will be bought back at a certain time according to the agreement, there will be a sale and purchase contract for 'wafa'. This study aims to analyze the selling procedures for buying and selling procedures for bai 'al-wafa' products at BMT UGT Sidogiri, Surabaya Bulak Rukem branch and for analyzing problems regarding Sharia Economic Legal Analysis on the practice of buying and selling on bai 'al-wafa' products at BMT UGT Sidogiri, Bulak Rukem Surabaya branch.The research method used in this study is a qualitative field research method, which is sourced from research informants obtained at the time of conducting research at Jokotole Pamekasan Syariah Pawnshop and supported by data that can be strengthened by literature as a supporter. This research is descriptive qualitative, using data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The approach used is juridical sociology which is then analyzed using inductive thinking patterns.Based on the results of research in the field related to Sharia Economic Legal Analysis of the practice of buying and selling on bai 'al-wafa' products at BMT UGT Sidogiri, Surabaya's Bulak Rukem branch was preceded by a survey process by BMT UGT Sidogiri to customers to ensure the feasibility of using bai 'wafa products 'Then after getting the agreement, the customer submits several requirements for' wafa 'who are asked to be able to sell their valuables to get money. The BMT UGT Sidogiri calculates ujrah costs because the items they buy will be rented back to customers some time until customers can buy back the valuables that they have sold to BMT UGT Sidogiri, Bulak Rukem Branch, Surabaya. the practice of buying and selling on bai 'al-wafa' products in BMT UGT Sidogiri, Bulak Rukem Surabaya branch, the procedure is in accordance with Islamic law both described in the Qur'an, hadith, muamalah fiqh, KHES and DSN-MUI fatwa. However, in the process of handing over the goods in contradiction with Al-in'iqad and Article 76 KHES in terms of the delivery of goods because the goods sold by customers do not exist in the contract peri Key Word : Islamic Economics, Practice of Buying and Selling, Bai 'Al-Wafa'.
