Abstract

Water is the most basic human need. To maintain the distribution of water runs well, PERUMDAM uses a water pump panel to run and monitor the water pump to keep running. Even so, the water pump can be damaged at any time so PERUMDAM officers do routine activities to check the health of the water pump. Therefore, this article tries to solve the problem by making the design and implementing the IoT-based pump panels. An IoT-based pump panel is a device that is connected to an Android application to control and monitor the pump panel in real-time. In this study, NodeMCU is used as a center for sensor data retrieval to be sent to Firebase. Android applications can send notifications if there are anomalies in the sensor data. Controlling that can be done by the IoT-based pump panel is changing the mode on the analog pump panel from manual to automatic, and vice versa. The monitoring data obtained by the IoT-based pump panel is divided into two types. The optocoupler generates data related to the sensors on the analog pump panel in a boolean form. The power meter generates data in the form of values for voltage (R, S, T), current (R, S, T), frequency, and others as needed. The data obtained on the power meter can be used to calculate the power used by the analog pump panel.

Abstract

Along with the growth of Sindangsari's population, the water requirement in this village has increased. So, the drinking water company (PAMDES) in this village must be able to manage the available water to meet the necessities of public life. Now, the water company is still collecting and recording water meters manually. It is very risky to consider the water condition in the village because an officer can make a human error while recording the water meter's value. When the water meter recorder is damaged, the officer estimates the water meter's value. An application is needed to manage bills and record water meters to avoid this in previous studies using the Internet of Things (IoT) or mobile applications that must be sent online to the server in real-time. This solution is not suitable for the internet condition in Indonesia, which is not evenly distributed to remote villages. This study proposes to use a mobile application that can store data on mobile devices. When the internet connection is unavailable, it can be sent later when it is available again. In this study, data obtained that the condition of the meter recorder from 672 customers, 37 water meters recorder is damaged. In addition, water meter data is also obtained for the following month's bill and data on average water usage of 10,661m3 per month. With these data, it is found that the minimum water requirement is 10,661 m3 per month. It is hoped that the application for billing management and recording of PAMDES water meters in Sindangsari village, Cikoneng sub-district, Ciamis district can help increase PAMDES management capacity.

Abstract

Tourism is an industry that plays an important role in a country''s economy. Tourism offers a variety of cultural, natural and scenic experiences that enhance knowledge and understanding of the world. In an effort to improve tourism promotion in the village, especially in Kawasan Sinai, the development of a tourism information system is a very important research focus. In the implementation section of this system, the system implementation process will be explained from all parts of the sub-system that have been planned previously. The documentation listed is the current documentation for Kawasan Sinai -Merauke Area Tourism Information System Based on Religion, Culture, and Nature Tourism. The results of all testing methods show a 100% success rate, in accordance with website development planning. Thus, it can be concluded that the tourism promotion information system for visitors on Kawasan Sinai website has met the feasibility standards to be implemented and is ready to be used by users.The success of this project had a positive impact in enhancing the reputation of the sinal region as a promotional destination, as well as providing a smooth and satisfying user experience.

Abstract

This study presents the Capstone Project, which seeks to digitize public services in Sukapura Village through a mobile application to address current conventional service challenges. The project introduces a village service digitization system integrated with the OpenSID system. The system offers accessibility for both the community and village officials. The project's aims include problem identification, effective solution provision, and implementation of digitized public services via mobile apps. Test 4 involves two distinct methods: alpha and beta testing. Alpha testing employs automation tests to examine mailing services, while beta testing uses Google forms for user acceptance tests. The alpha testing analyzes the flow of letter submissions encompassing various types. Pre-established objectives guide testing, considering 0.7 as the minimum reliability coefficient. Analysis of both testing methods indicates promising results in terms of user interface and experience, as sufficient data was gathered from the conducted tests.

Abstract

In Indonesia, significant variations in rainfall are a severe challenge, especially in the Special Capital Region (DKI) Jakarta, which is very vulnerable to flooding and the effects of climate change compared to other coastal areas in Southeast Asia. This flood caused considerable losses to society, industry, and government. Inaccurate predictions of rainfall lead to difficulties in anticipating floods and landslides, causing an expansion of the impact of these disasters. Therefore, a solution such as "Extreme Rain Index Prediction Information System and Rain Radar-Based Flood Potential Warning System for Jakarta” is needed. This system uses SANTANU rain radar and GSMaP satellite data to visualize real-time rainfall with Server-Sent Event (SSE) techniques. It also employs a Random Forest model to predict extreme rainfall and potential flooding by combining the output from PyStep-based radar nowcasting and Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP). Even though the predicted flood potential is accurate (93.75% accuracy, AUC 0.93), the prediction of flood movement using PyStep is not precise (RMSE 2.8, IoA 0.57), affecting the accuracy of the flood potential prediction. This system visualizes rain from SANTANU and GSMaP radars in real time and estimates the potential for flooding. Further efforts are needed to improve predictions of flood movements for better accuracy of flood potential information.

Abstract

Tabung gas elpiji menjadi salah satu kebutuhan primer masyarakat di Indonesia. Salah satu komponen pendukung faktor keselamatan dalam penggunaan tabung elpiji adalah karet perapat (rubber seal). Saat ini Pertamina melakukan outsourcing ke berbagai industri produksi karet untuk memenuhi kebutuhan suplai karet perapat tabung elpiji. CV Lingga Pratama sebagai salah satu industri yang menyuplai kebutuhan karet perapat masih menggunakan mesin press karet manual untuk memproduksi karet perapat tersebut. Kualitas dari karet perapat yang diproduksi menjadi sangat bergantung pada kelihaian operator dari alat press tersebut. Beberapa faktor yang berpengaruh pada kualitas karet perapat yang dibuat adalah suhu, tekanan, dan lama waktu press mesin terhadap bahan baku lembaran karet. Pada kesempatan kali ini telah dibuat suatu sistem yang terdiri dari mikrokontroler berbasis Arduino yang dapat melakukan pengukuran suhu secara contactless dengan menggunakan modul sensor suhu inframerah dan pengukuran tekanan dengan menggunakan load cell. Sistem ini dapat menampilkan nilai suhu yang terukur serta tekanan dari alat press melalui layar LCD kecil yang dapat dipantau oleh operator. Sistem juga akan memberitahukan operator melalui suara dari alarm apabila waktu yang telah ditentukan untuk melakukan proses press telah tercapai.

Abstract

Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) has witnessed rapid advancements in signal processing research within the health domain, particularly in signal analyses like electrocardiogram (ECG), electromyogram (EMG), and electroencephalogram (EEG). ECG, containing diverse information about medical history, identity, emotional state, age, and gender, has exhibited potential for biometric recognition. The Random Forest method proves essential to facilitate gender classification based on ECG. This research delves into applying the Random Forest method for gender classification, utilizing ECG data from the ECG ID Database. The primary aim is to assess the efficacy of the Random Forest algorithm in gender classification. The dataset employed in this study comprises 10,000 features, encompassing both raw and filtered datasets, evaluated through 10-fold cross-validation with Random Forest Classification. Results reveal the highest accuracy for raw data at 55.000%, with sensitivity at 46.452% and specificity at 63.548%. In contrast, the filtered data achieved the highest accuracy of 65.806%, with sensitivity and specificity at 67.097%. These findings conclude that the most significant impact on gender classification in this study lies in the low sensitivity value in raw data. The implications of this research contribute to knowledge by presenting the performance results of the Random Forest algorithm in ECG-based gender classification.

Abstract

Computer vision’s ability determines the accuracy of object recognition. This study tested the camera's ability to recognize both passive and active markers using LEDs. A specific active marker is analyzed using blinking on the LED. One of the factors to consider when choosing a specific marker is the value of the duty cycle accuracy. The proposed system is confirmed by implementing an integrated control system and the hardware to develop a specific marker. The result shows that the commercial camera can recognize all colors used as the test markers. Here, a specific marker was improved in the bullet launcher system due to tracking, identifying, detecting, marking, locking, and shooting a target precisely. Generally, image processing obtained the comparison of the time to speed the process, the higher the pixel resolution, the longer the time. When the object moves at a certain speed, the camera can detect several marker shapes, such as circles, squares, and triangles. The result shows that a circle marker gives a higher accuracy at every speed level. In the duty cycle variation test, when the duty cycle value is set to 50%, the best accuracy is obtained when the red LED is used, with the accuracy value obtained reaching 96%. In the LED test, it is also found that the effect of light affects the color detection results on the LED. Moreover, using the highest accuracy results from the LEDs at the implementation stage would be very good.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, khususnya di bidang jaringan nirkabel, berperan penting dalam mendukung aktivitas akademik di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi. Akses internet cepat dan stabil melalui WiFi menjadi kebutuhan utama bagi mahasiswa dan dosen dalam menjalankan kegiatan belajar, mengajar, dan penelitian. Namun, pada bangunan bertingkat tinggi seperti Gedung Telkom University Landmark Tower (TULT), penyebaran sinyal WiFi sering mengalami tantangan akibat hambatan fisik yang menyebabkan ketidakmerataan kualitas jaringan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan merencanakan cakupan jaringan nirkabel di Gedung TULT dengan mengukur parameter kualitas sinyal seperti Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) dan Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR). Evaluasi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi area dengan sinyal lemah dan memberikan rekomendasi optimalisasi penempatan titik akses WiFi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan di berbagai titik dalam gedung untuk memastikan hasil pengukuran mewakili kondisi aktual jaringan yang ada. Melalui analisis hasil pengukuran, diharapkan solusi peningkatan kualitas jaringan dapat diterapkan untuk memperbaiki penyebaran sinyal WiFi secara menyeluruh di seluruh area gedung. Optimalisasi jaringan ini diharapkan dapat menciptakan lingkungan akademik yang lebih kondusif, meningkatkan produktivitas pengguna, serta mendukung kebutuhan konektivitas digital yang terus berkembang di Telkom University. Abstract

Heirlooms are very valuable items because they have a strong historical value. But in reality, many heirlooms are damaged as a result of the negligence of visitors who want to see the heirlooms or because of a disaster. Photogrammetry is a technology that is developing and is often used for today's industrial needs so that it offers an alternative solution for documenting heirlooms in the form of 3D models. This study aims to implement photogrammetry to document heirlooms. With the application of this technology, it is hoped that it can be used as a prevention or solution if heirlooms are damaged because we can make new duplicates of heirlooms based on 3D models that have been made. This research was conducted at Kanoman Palace, Cirebon City. The results of photogrammetry after it is implemented show that all needs are met and can be used as needed. The results of the questionnaire to the Kanoman Palace and people in Cirebon City, showed a figure of 73.7% strongly agree that the photogrammetry results are similar to the original heirlooms and strongly agree that by making 3D models of heirlooms can be used as prevention and solutions if the heirlooms are damaged.
