Abstract

PAMDES is a drinking water company managed by local villagers. The water meter data are read and recorded manually without any technology, which is ineffective and inefficient. Digital image processing can be implemented to read and record the water meter data automatically. When implemented in the water meter, it can help PAMDES officers to read the data without the internet, without changing the conventional water meter device, and the water meter data can be read and recorded effectively and efficiently. This research used the agile method, one of the methods used in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The method is done repetitively within a short period of time. The output of this research is an application with a digital image processing model that can read water meter data up to 82% in normal conditions and still can be improved. This research aims to make the water meter data reading and recording more effective and efficient and to contribute to the transformation of Sindangsari village into a digitalized village.

Abstract

AbstrakBUMDESMA Mentereng LKD di Kecamatan Cikoneng, Kabupaten Ciamis, merupakan lembaga yang berperan dalam penguatan ekonomi masyarakat desa. Namun, pelayanan administrasi yang masih dilakukan secara manual menimbulkan berbagai kendala, seperti keterlambatan pelayanan, antrean panjang, serta kesulitan dalam pencatatan dan pengarsipan data. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan pengembangan dan implementasi Sistem Informasi Pelayanan BUMDes (SIMPEL BUMDes) berbasis website. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 8 pengurus BUMDESMA, 6 mahasiswa pelaksana, dan 6 dosen pengusul melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, pelatihan pengguna, serta sosialisasi dan serah terima aplikasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah terciptanya sistem yang mampu mendukung layanan administrasi secara digital, mulai dari pendaftaran anggota, pengajuan dokumen daring, sistem antrean, hingga pengelolaan arsip elektronik. Implementasi SIMPEL BUMDes terbukti meningkatkan efisiensi pelayanan sekitar 90%, memperkuat transparansi, dan memberikan kemudahan bagi masyarakat dalam mengakses layanan administrasi BUMDESMA. Kata kunci: administrasi; digital; sistem informasi; BUMDes; layanan publik. AbstractBUMDESMA Mentereng LKD in Cikoneng District, Ciamis Regency, plays an important role in strengthening the community’s economy. However, administrative services that are still carried out manually have caused various problems, such as delays in service, long queues, and difficulties in recording and archiving data. To address these issues, a web-based Village-Owned Enterprise Service Information System (SIMPEL BUMDes) was developed and implemented. This activity involved BUMDESMA administrators, student implementers, and the proposing lecturers through several stages, namely needs analysis, system design, user training, as well as socialization and system handover. The result of this activity is the establishment of a system that supports digital administrative services, including member registration, online document submission, queue management, and electronic archive management. The implementation of SIMPEL BUMDes has proven to increase service efficiency, strengthen transparency, and provide convenience for the community in accessing BUMDESMA administrative services. Keywords: administration; digital; information system; BUMDes; public services.

Abstract

BUMDESMA Mentereng LKD Kecamatan Cikoneng, Kabupaten Ciamis membina lebih dari 825 Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) dengan beragam sektor usaha, namun masih menghadapi kendala dalam pemasaran karena terbatasnya akses pasar dan strategi promosi yang sebagian besar bersifat tradisional. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, tim pengabdian masyarakat mengembangkan aplikasi marketplace digital berbasis website yang dirancang untuk memfasilitasi promosi, transaksi, serta pengelolaan produk UMKM secara terintegrasi. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan arsitektur sistem tiga lapis (frontend, backend, dan basis data), implementasi aplikasi, sosialisasi, serta pelatihan pemasaran digital bagi UMKM binaan. Hasil yang dicapai mencakup tersedianya platform digital marketplace yang menampilkan katalog produk, sistem transaksi dengan integrasi pembayaran digital, dashboard analitik, serta peta interaktif persebaran UMKM. Selain itu, pelatihan digital marketing meningkatkan kompetensi pelaku UMKM dalam mengelola toko online dan memperluas jaringan pemasaran. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi marketplace ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, memperluas jangkauan pasar, serta mendukung digitalisasi ekonomi desa secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

BUMDESMA Mentereng LKD is a village financial institution in Cikoneng District, Ciamis Regency, which plays a vital role in supporting community economic empowerment. To date, financial management has relied on manual recording, leading to various challenges, such as validation delays, the risk of recording errors, and limited access to real-time information. These conditions hamper efficiency, transparency, and accountability in village financial governance. To address these challenges, a digital transformation was undertaken through the development and implementation of a website-based Financial Management Information System (SIMKUG). The system development process involved several stages, from needs analysis and prototype design to implementation, to user training and system outreach to managers. SIMKUG offers features capable of managing loan recording, installment payments, member and group management, cash transactions, financial reporting, and monitoring of non-performing loans in a more structured and integrated manner. The implementation of SIMKUG has been proven to increase operational efficiency, strengthen transparency, and improve village financial governance sustainably, providing significant benefits to managers and the community.

Abstract

Software defect prediction aims to identify potentially defective modules early on in order to improve software reliability and reduce maintenance costs. However, challenges such as high feature dimensions, irrelevant metrics, and class imbalance often reduce the performance of prediction models. This research aims to compare the performance of three classification model groups—linear, bagging, and boosting—combined with the BorutaSHAP feature selection method to improve prediction stability and interpretability. A total of twelve datasets from the NASA Metrics Data Program (MDP) were used as test references. The research stages included data preprocessing, class balancing using the Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE), feature selection with BorutaSHAP, and model training using five algorithms, namely Logistic Regression, Linear SVC, Random Forest, Extra Trees, and XGBoost. The evaluation was conducted with Stratified 5-Fold Cross-Validation using the F1-score and Area Under the Curve (AUC) metrics. The experimental results showed that tree-based ensemble models provided the most consistent performance, with Extra Trees recording the highest average AUC of 0.794 ± 0.05, followed by Random Forest (0.783 ± 0.06). The XGBoost model provided the best results on the PC4 dataset (AUC = 0.937 ± 0.008), demonstrating its ability to handle complex data patterns. These findings prove that BorutaSHAP is effective in filtering relevant features, improving classification reliability, and strengthening transparency and interpretability in the Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) framework for software quality improvement.

Abstract

Early detection of infectious diseases plays a crucial role in minimizing their spread and enabling timely intervention. In the digital era, social media has emerged as a valuable source of real-time health information, where individuals often share self-reported symptoms that can serve as early warning signals for disease outbreaks. However, textual data from social media is typically unstructured, noisy, and contextually diverse, posing challenges for conventional text classification methods. This study proposes a hybrid model combining Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) feature representation with a Graph Attention Network (GAT) to enhance the early detection of Monkeypox-related self-reported symptoms on Indonesian social media. A dataset of 3,200 tweets was collected through Tweet-Harvest and subsequently preprocessed and manually labeled, producing a balanced distribution between positive (51%) and negative (49%) samples. TF-IDF vectors were used to construct a document similarity graph via the k-Nearest Neighbors (k-NN) method with cosine similarity, enabling GAT to leverage both textual and relational information across posts. The model’s performance was evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and macro-F1, with macro-F1 serving as the primary indicator. The proposed TF-IDF + GAT model achieved 93.07% accuracy and a macro-F1 score of 93.06%, outperforming baseline classifiers such as CNN (92.16% macro-F1), SVM (85.73%), Logistic Regression (84.89%). These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of integrating classical text representations with graph-based neural architectures for improving social media based disease surveillance and supporting early epidemic response strategies.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan pelaku usaha ritel berbasis halal melalui inovasi digital dalam kerangka kolaborasi internasional antara perguruan tinggi dan industri. Program ini mengintegrasikan pelatihan literasi digital, pendampingan sertifikasi halal, serta pengembangan pasar daring (marketplace) untuk meningkatkan daya saing global produk halal. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif yang melibatkan perguruan tinggi di Indonesia dan mitra industri dari Jepang, kegiatan ini memfasilitasi alih pengetahuan, pembuatan prototipe sistem digital, dan penguatan kapasitas pelaku usaha. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan visibilitas bisnis, adaptasi digital, dan jaringan lintas negara bagi masyarakat muslim di Jepang. Kolaborasi ini menegaskan potensi sinergi akademik–industri dalam memperkuat ekonomi digital yang inklusif dan beretika di sektor halal.
