Abstract

This research aims to identify forms of community participation in managing household waste in South Banjarmasin District. The research method uses descriptive quantitative. Respondents in the study totaled 232 heads of families. The data used in the research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is in the form of observations and questionnaires, secondary data is sourced from the Environmental Service, Banjarmasin City Central Statistics Agency and the South Bajarmasin District Government. Community participation in household waste management in South Banjarmasin District includes five parameters of forms of participation, namely thoughts, energy, assets and skills and abilities. The results of the research show that from 4 sub-districts in South Banjarmasin District, namely Kelayan Selatan, Pekauman, Kelayan Tengah and Tanjung Pagar, the first form of participation is the form of property participation in the form of active community members paying fees to the waste officers every 4 weeks ranging from IDR 4,000-20,000 . The second most common form of participation is the form of participation from the idea of knowing about waste management in the waste bank from the RT head, through information on waste management, the community participates in depositing waste every 2 weeks to the waste bank. The third most common form of participation is the form of labor participation in sorting organic waste to be used as compost, eco enzyme and inorganic waste to be made into handicrafts such as flower vases, tables and decorative lamps every 4 weeks. The fourth most common form of participation is the form of skill and skill participation, namely using organic waste into compost and eco enzymes in Tanjung Pagar Village and using inorganic waste into handicrafts such as flower vases, tables and decorative lamps, and in Kelayan Selatan and Kelayan Tengah Village only limited collecting, sorting, selling and weighing waste to the waste bank and the public gets a savings book from the waste deposit.

Abstract

Urbanization and population growth pose significant challenges for the City of Yogyakarta in meeting its food needs and ensuring availability. The rapid development rate that eliminates agricultural land is one of the problems faced by the City of Yogyakarta. On the other hand, the concept of urban agriculture has become a trend that is of interest to the Community and government, especially for dense populations with limited land. Urban agriculture itself has a significant role in achieving sustainable development. This article aims to identify the role and contribution of urban agriculture in the City of Yogyakarta and analyze the innovations and social strategies carried out in achieving food stability in the City of Yogyakarta. The research method employed is a qualitative approach, incorporating a literature review that draws on international journals, national journals, books, and articles from previous researchers. The results of the literature review indicate the successful implementation of urban agriculture in the City of Yogyakarta through two flagship programs, namely Kampung Sayur and Lele Cendol, which can be optimized by the synergy of stakeholders Gandeng Gendong Aktor 5K (Village, Campus, Community, Corporation, and Pemkot). Furthermore, the existence of various community innovations allows the City of Yogyakarta to implement the development of an integrated urban farming system.

Abstract

The development of science and technology (IPTEK) which is very massive has a very broad influence on all aspects of human life. One of them is education and teaching that can facilitate the exchange of information so that it is not bound by space and time. This is of course very useful, especially for students, groups who always need information as reference material for their daily assignments. Therefore, students really need information literacy skills, to support the lectures they follow. There are several models used to measure a person's literacy ability, one of which is the Empowering 8 model, where this model was produced from a workshop conducted in Sri Lanka in 2004. The purpose of this study was to analyze the digital literacy competence of students of the geography education study program, FKIP Lambung Mangkurat University. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, digital digital literacy students of geography education FKIP Lambung Mangkurat University are at a good or mastered level. Where from the respondents' answers, 17% were very dominant, 71% controlled, 11% did not master, and 1% did not master. Respondents who are very mastering, not mastering, and very not mastering are in the low category, respondents who are mastering are in the high category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tanggapan wisatawan domestik terhadap sarana, prasarana dan keadaan obyek wisata di Pantai Takisung di Kabupaten Tanah Laut, Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel yang dipergunakan adalah wisatawan yang berkunjung selama 12 hari dengan 300 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer diperoleh dari kuesioner dan wawancara, data sekunder yang didapat dari dokumen hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sarana dan prasarana obyek wisata Pantai Takisung untuk alat transportasi umum perlu diadakan dan perlu penambahan fasilitas menara pandang untuk menikmati pemandangan alam Pantai Takisung. Diperlukan penyediaan beberapa sarana air mancur untuk membilas, penambahan jumlah dan jenis pertunjukan di panggung hiburan serta penambahan petugas kebersihan.
