Abstract

This study entitled "music therapy to reduce Academic stress levels In Public High School 5 Banda Aceh". As for the purpose of writing is to know the academic stress levels decrease in students of Public High School 5 Banda Aceh through music therapy-type Islamic instruments. This paper is a research experiment by using pre-experiment design one group pretest-posttest and is a quantitative approach. The research was carried out in Public High School 5 Banda Aceh. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, while the subject is students who have high academic stress levels, five students obtained to have such criteria. Data collection method using the 0-4 scale. Data analysis using a non-parametric statistical test which was Wilcoxon Signed Rank. The results show that the average academic stress score is of five people before treatment were 63, while after music therapy treatment the average score of academic stress decreased to 34.6. The Z statistic obtained from Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test was -2.023 with a significant level of 0.043 which is smaller than 0.05. The results indicated that music therapy can be used to decrease the level of academic stress.

Abstract

Religious education is believed to nurture the individual to behave more responsible. This research attempts to describe the correlation between religious educations with the heterosexual desire of students in one of public high school in Baitussalam Aceh Besar. This study aims to determine the relationship between religious educations with students' heterosexual desires. The type of research used is quantitative research with descriptive and correlational method. The population in this study was all students of SMAN 1 Unggul Baitussalam Aceh Besar amounted to 300 people. Sampling technique utilized was probability sampling. Data collected using five scaled questionnaire. Research data is processed and analyzed by percentage and Spearman correlation. The results showed that the highest category in religious education was the medium category, while the highest category of heterosexual passions was also the medium category. The result of correlation test analysis showed a significant negative correlation between religious educations with student heterosexual desires, the correlation coefficient obtained was -0.185 with a significant level of 0.15. This means that the proposed work hypothesis can be accepted, so it can be said the higher the religious education the lower the heterosexual desire in SMAN 1 Unggul Baitussalam Aceh Besar. Keywords: Religious educations, heterosexual desire, high school students ABSTRAKPendidikan religius dipercaya dapat membina individu menjadi lebih bertanggung jawab terutama terhadap dirinya sendiri dan dapat mengendalikan perilakunya. Penelitian ini berupaya mendiskripsikan korelasi antara edukasi religius dengan hasrat heteroseksual siswa SMAN 1 Unggul Baitussalam Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara edukasi religius dengan hasrat hetero seksual siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa SMAN 1 Unggul Baitussalam Aceh Besar berjumlah 300 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah probability sampling yaitu penyampelan secara acak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan intrumen berupa skala berkategori lima. Data penelitian diolah dan di analisis dengan persentase dan korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kategori terbanyak pada edukasi religius adalah kategori sedang. Sementara kategori terbanyak pada hasrat hetero seksual juga berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil analisis uji korelasi menunjukkan adanya korelasi negatif yang signifikansi antara edukasi religius dengan hasrat hetero seksual siswa, koefisien korelasi yang diperoleh adalah -0.185 dengan tingkat signifikan 0.15. Artinya hipotesis kerja yang diajukan dapat diterima, sehingga dapat dikatakan semakin tinggi edukasi religius maka semakin rendah hasrat hetero seksual di SMAN 1 Unggul Baitussalam Aceh Besar.Kata kunci: edukasi religious, hasrat hetero seksual, siswa SMA

Abstract

Self esteem is an individual's ability to describe his situation both positively and negatively. The more individuals describe positive things about themselves, the higher self esteem they have, otherwise if the individual describes himself with negative things then the self esteem possessed will be low. This study aims to see the effect of assertive training techniques in improving self esteem in students. In this case the assertive training technique is an exercise in communicating what we want without taking rights and hurting the feelings of others which consists of a series of stages namely role playing, modeling and assertive training. The research approach used is quantitative Pre-Experimental Design with the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjects in this study are students who have low self esteem. Data collection method in this study uses a self esteem scale with a reliability of 0.878 which means it has very high reliability. Data analysis was done by categorizing it into category norms and then tested through Wilcoxon sign test. The results showed an average pre-test value of 78.1 higher than the post-test average of 119. The results of the data analysis obtained in this study were the Wilcoxon test value of Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) (0,005 0,05) Then testing the hypothesis in this study Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that assertive training techniques are effectively used to improve self esteem in students. Key Word: Assertive Training, Self Esteem, StudentsAbstrak: Self esteem (harga diri) adalah kemampuan individu dalam menggambarkan keadaan dirinya baik secara positif maupun negatif. Semakin individu menggambarkan hal positif mengenai dirinya maka akan semakin tinggi self esteem yang dimiliki, sebaliknya jika individu menggambarkan dirinya dengan hal negatif maka self esteem yang dimiliki akan rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh teknik latihan asertif dalam meningkatkan self esteem pada siswa. Dalam hal ini teknik latihan asertif merupakan latihan mengkomunikasikan apa yang kita inginkan tanpa mengambil hak dan menyakiti perasaan orang lain yang terdiri dari serangkaian tahapan yaitu bermain peran, pencontohan dan latihan asertif. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif Pre-Experimental Design dengan bentuk One Group Pretest- Posttest Design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa dengan self esteem rendah. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan skala self esteem dengan reliabilitas sebesar 0.878 yang menunjukkan reliabilitas sangat tinggi. Analisis data dihasilkan dengan mengkategorikan ke dalam norma kategori lalu diuji melalui Wilcoxon sign test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 78,1 lebih tinggi dari rata-rata post-test yaitu 119. Hasil analisis data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) bernilai 0,005 atau menunjukkan probabilitas dibawah 0,05 (0,005 0,05). Abstract

Continuous use of the internet can get negative effects for every individual who uses it. In this case the reframing technique is one of the alternatives to break the behavior of addiction to the internet. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of reframing techniques using the gestalt approach in reducing the behavior of Internet addiction. this study includes the type of pre-experimental research using a quantitative approach.The population of this study were 70 students in the class vii SMPN 1 Banda Aceh while the sample used included 30 students selected from the population. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used is a Likert scale questionnaire while data anaisis technique using paired T test (paired sample T-test). The results showed that the average value of pretest was 112.77 higher than the mean posttest score of 68.90. In addition, the value of t arithmetic results obtained that thitung ≥ ttabel is 17.269 ≥ 2.045 with a significant level of 5% or 0.05 which means the alternative hypothesis (Ha) and nil hypothesis (H0) rejected. In other words, the application of gestalt counseling through effective reframing techniques to be used in reducing Internet Addiction behavior. Keywords: Gestalt Counseling Approach, Reframing Technique, Internet addiction

Abstract

 Smoking desire some character that must derived because it can  carry people to be  active smoker. The purpose of this study is to help decrease this desire in students of SMAN 1 Darul Imarah using self management techniques, also to prove if this technique  bring significant changes before and after the students given treatment. This research type was an quantitative approach with pre-experimental study one group pre-post test design. Samples are 8 students from 44 students were selected by purposive sampling method. The research  data were collected using questionnaire with 1-4 scale. Data were analyzed using paired-sample sign test-scale to prove there is decrease in the desire of smoking before and after treatment. The results of this research  there was a significant score increase after treatment self-management techniques given to students, there are difference value of post-test lower than the pre-test of 70.37 ≤ 88.62. Which means, there is an decrease score  in the score of smoking desire before and after given self management techniques. Decrease score before and after given treatment as much as 18,62. As for positive changes (+) or X as much as 8 therefore, by looking at the binominal table n = 8 and p = 0.5, then the probability for X≥8 is 0.004 and because 0.004 is smaller than 0.05 then the hypothesis testing in this research Ho is rejected. This means that there is a significant difference in smoking craving score from samples before and after given self management technique. It means this treatment was success in helping decrease somking desire in students of SMAN 1 Darul Imarah.Keywords : Smoking Desire, Self Management Technique

Abstract

This study entitled "Psychological Condition of Junior High School Students After Earthquake in Meureudu, Pidie Jaya" The purpose of research to know the psychological condition of students after earthquake. The approach used is descriptive quantitative research. The study sites were SMPN 1 and 2 Meureudu Pidie Jaya, with a population of 654 students. Sampling using random sampling technique to determine the number of samples by using slovin formula that is as many as 248 students. Data collection using an instrument. Data analysis uses quantitative descriptive. The results showed psychological condition. Judging from the number of respondents' answers on every aspect of psychological condition, or category mostly (78.6%), the category is very disturbed or called very little (13.6%) and uninterrupted or a small part (7, 9%). The cognition aspect of the category or the like (65.5%), is very disturbed or called a small part (23.6%) and is not disturbed or is called very little (11.1%). The emotional aspect of the category or most of which is (63.2%), very disturbed or very little (18.9%) and uninterrupted or slightly at all 17.8%). The behavioral aspect of the category or most (65.6%), is very disturbed or called a small part (28,9) and is not disturbed or very little (5.4%). The social aspect on the category or (42,4%), is very disturbed or mostly (30,4%) and not disturbed or (28,2%) Generally psychological condition of student after earthquake in category or mostly 68,9 %), the category is very disturbed or very little (18.9%), and the category is not compromised or slightly (12.1%).

Abstract

This study focuses on the conceptualization of jihad in the text of Hikayat Prang Sabi by Teungku Chik Pante Kulu. This study provides a constructive discourse of thought for readers in understanding jihad. This study narrates jihad as literally meaning ‘striving’ or ‘struggling’ in Arabic, such as in wars, and it also examines the conceptualization of jihad in Acehnese literary texts. The method used in this research is descriptive-qualitative. The data were analyzed through a literary hermeneutic approach so that the interpretation of the Hikayat Prang Sabi text can be considered a universal truth in the lives of the Acehnese and Muslim communities in the world regarding the concept of jihad. The results of the analysis show that the concept of jihad in the Hikayat Prang Sabi is divided into three: (1) jihad for religious reasons, (2) jihad to defend the homeland, and (3) jihad for peace. These three concepts form the conceptualization of jihad based on the relationship between humans and God, the relationship between humans and humans, and the relationship between humans and the universe. This confirms the linguistic concept of jihad in the perspective of Muslims, especially the people of Aceh, that jihad is not only about war and suicide but also an inspiration to call for truth and peace.

Abstract

The tendency to aggression is the desire to hurt others, both verbally and non-verbally. This desire often appears among teenagers and usually has a "bad" impact on other teenagers. One of the variables that correlate with this tendency to aggression is self-control, which is the ability to control one's own behavior. This study aims to determine the correlation between self-control with the tendency of aggression in senior high school students in Banda Aceh. The correlational quantitative approach is the approach used. Meanwhile, by using the cluster sampling technique (3 selected high schools) and considering an alpha of 0.05, a minimum sample size of 256 students of class XI was obtained. The data collection technique uses a Likert scale questionnaire. While the data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis and Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis. The results showed that students' self-control was in the high category and students' aggression tendencies were in the medium category. Then the results of the study also showed that there was a negative and significant relationship between self-control and aggressive tendencies with a value of r = -0.525. The results of the significance of self-control with a tendency to aggression is Tcount T table (-9.832 1.969). Peril that is, the alternative hypothesis formulated can be accepted. In other words, the higher a person's self-control, the lower the tendency for aggression, and vice versa. The percentage results for the correlation of self-control with the tendency of aggression in this study were 27%, and the other 73% were on other factors that could be the cause of the emergence of aggressive tendencies such as internal and external factors. Internal factors are biological factors, self-quality, thinking skills, emotional skills, and positive thinking patterns. While external factors are parenting patterns, learned habits, and social norms.Keywords: Self Control, Aggressive Behavior, Correlational Analysis.  ABSTRAK Kecenderungan agresi merupakan  hasrat untuk menyakiti orang lain, baik secara verbal maupun non-verbal. Hasrat ini sering muncul dalam kalangan remaja dan biasanya berdampak tidak “baik” terhadap remaja lain. Salah satu variabel yang berkorelasi dengan kecenderungan  agresi ini adalah kontrol diri yang merupakan kemampuan untuk mengendalikan tingkah laku sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara kontrol diri dengan kecenderungan agresi pada siswa SMA Negeri di Banda Aceh. Pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional merupakan pendekatan yang digunakan. Sementara dengan menggunakan teknik clusster sampling (3 SMA terpilih) dan mempertimbangkan alpha 0,05  diperoleh besaran sampel minimal 256 siswa kelas XI . Teknik pengumpul datanya menggunakan angket bentuk skala likert. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis korelasi Product Moment Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kontrol diri siswa berada pada kategori tinggi dan kecenderungan agresi siswa berada pada kategori sedang. Kemudian hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang negatif dan signifikan antara kontrol diri dengan kecenderungan agresi denang nilai r = -0.525. Hasil signifikansi antara kontrol diri dengan kecenderungan agresi yaitu Thitung Ttabel (-9.832 1.969). Artinya, hipotesis alternatif yang dirumuskan dapat  diterima. Dengan kata lain semakin tinggi kontrol diri seseorang maka akan semakin rendah kecenderungan agresinya, begitupun sebaliknya. Hasil persentase untuk korelasi kontrol diri dengan kecenderungan agresi dalam penelitian ini sebesar 27%, dan 73% lainnya terdapat pada faktor lain yang dapat menjadi penyebab munculnya kecenderungan agresi seperti faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal yaitu faktor biologis, kualitas diri, keterampilan berpikir, keterampilan emosi, dan pola pikir yang positif. Sedangkan faktor eksternal yaitu pola asuh orang tua, kebiasaan-kebiasaan yang dipelajari, dan norma sosial.

Abstract

A good self-adjustment needs to be done by individuals in order to have a good social attitude and be useful for everyday life. Changing the place of residence or the neighborhood of residence also requires social adjustments, as well as for prisoners both when they start living in the correctional facility and when they return to the community. This study aims to describe the efforts to increase the social adjustment of prisoners carried out by the Class IIA Banda Aceh Correctional Institution. The study was conducted using qualitative methods using interviews with 6 prison supervisors as research subjects. The results showed that efforts to increase social and self-adjustment carried out to inmates were carried out through a disciplined approach, guidance in the form of exchanging ideas between coaches and prisoners with problems, situational guidance using a humanist approach, group coaching, religious approaches using the zikir method, reading. Al'Quran, and the method of lectures such as those conducted every Friday Prayer, the involvement of external parties such as the National Narcotics Agency and lessons learned from experience. Keywords: Efforts to Increase, Social Adjustment, Inmates ABSTRAK Penyesuaian diri yang baik perlu dilakukan oleh individu agar memiliki sikap sosial yang baik dan berguna bagi kehidupan sehari-hari.  Perpindahan tempat tinggal atau lingkungan tempat tinggal juga membutuhkan penyesuaian sosial, demikian juga pada narapidana baik ketika mulai tinggal di lembaga pemasyarakatan maupun ketika kembali lagi ke masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan upaya peningkatan penyesuaian sosial para narapidana yang dilakukan oleh Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Banda Aceh. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan dengan menggunakan wawancara terhadap 6 pembina Lapas sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya peningkatan penyesuaian diri dan sosial yang dilaksanakan kepada narapidana dilakukan melalui pendekatan disiplin, bimbingan dalam bentuk bertukar pikiran yang dilakukan antara Pembina dengan tahanan yang bermasalah, pembinaan situasional menggunakan pendekatan yang humanis, pembinaan kelompok, pendekatan keagamaan dengan metode zikir, pembacaan Al’Quran, dan metode ceramah-ceramah seperti yang dilakukan setiap Shalat Jumat, pelibatan pihak-pihak luar seperti Badan Narkotika Nasional dan pembelajaran dari pengalaman.
