Abstract

The Nahdlatul Ulama Teachers Association (PERGUNU) plays a pivotal role in enhancing education and moral values within society. This study addresses the necessity to strengthen PERGUNU's prophecy movement through a participatory mentoring program at the Nahdlatul Ulama Branch Leadership (PC NU) level in Pasuruan City, slated for August 2024. The goal is to enhance leadership skills and community participation through a structured mentoring process. Employing a mixed-method approach with a sequential explanatory design, the study consists of two phases. The quantitative phase involves a survey of 100 respondents to gather broad perceptions and experiences, while the qualitative phase includes in-depth interviews and focus group discussions with 20 participants for deeper insights. The subjects are active PERGUNU members engaged in PC NU activities, focusing on teachers, leaders, and mentoring program participants. Data collection involves quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, analyzed using SPSS software and thematic analysis, respectively. Reliability and validity are ensured through data triangulation and peer review. Preliminary findings suggest participatory mentoring significantly boosts teacher morale, pedagogical competence, and community engagement. The study recommends expanding the program regionally, ensuring sustainability, and integrating feedback for continuous improvement, contributing significantly to educational leadership and community empowerment in Islamic education.

Abstract

Semiotika merupakan ilmu dalam metode analisis untuk mempelajari simbol-simbol. Para peneliti berencana menganalisis film tersebut berdasarkan kajian semiotika Ferdinand de Saussure. Film yang akan dipelajari oleh peneliti yakni “Rudy Habibie”. Alasan peneliti menelaah film ``Rudy Habibie'' yakni oleh sebab film tersebut menceritakan kisah nyata yang diambil langsung dari kehidupan presiden ketiga Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie. Film Rudy Habibie termasuk nominasi Film Terbaik Festival Film Indonesia (FFI) 2016. Film ini mencapai total 2 juta penonton hanya dalam satu bulan. Film ``Rudy Habibi'' menggambarkan Habibi sebagai sosok yang bergerak dan berjiwa nasionalis. Peneliti sengaja memilih topik nasionalisme karena semangat dan kecintaan generasi muda terhadap bangsanya mulai memudar. Penggambaran nasionalisme dalam film Rudy Habibi pendekatannya menerapkan analisis semiotik dan metode kualitatif. Semiotika Ferdinand de Saussure yang diterapkan peneliti merupakan teori akuntansi yang terdiri dari tanda dan simbol, simbol dan realitas atau makna eksternal. Peneliti akan menggunakan analisis teori akuntansi untuk memilih adegan-adegan yang menggambarkan nasionalisme dari film-film Rudi Habibie. Kajian mengenai penggambaran nasionalisme dalam film-film Rudy Habibie mengungkapkan adanya penggambaran nasionalisme seorang Habibie yang tercermin pada dirinya jelas sangat kuat dengan adanya bukti keinginan Habibie untuk membangun industri dirgantara di negara Indonesia selain itu Habibie juga ingin meningkatkan sumber daya manusia lewat potensi anak-anak muda Indonesia yang kuliah di luar negeri. Habibie juga menunjukkan sikap nasionalismenya dengan falsafah hidupnya yang diambil dari kedua orang tuanya yaitu “jadilah mata air” yang artinya dapat bermanfaat bagi orang lain.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of interactive culture-based media in enhancing cooperation and respect for diversity among elementary school students in Pancasila Education. Utilizing the ADDIE model for Research and Development, 45 students and 2 teachers in a rural setting participated over 10 weeks. The intervention included digital applications and local cultural activities integrated into the curriculum. Data were gathered through observations, interviews, and surveys and were analyzed using qualitative and inferential statistical methods. Results indicated a 35% improvement in cooperation and a 20% increase in cultural understanding compared to traditional methods. The dynamic interactions fostered a harmonious learning environment. Challenges included adapting materials to local contexts and providing teacher training. The study suggests developing sustainable training modules and adaptable learning aids, highlighting interactive media’s potential to enrich Pancasila Education. Further research is recommended to assess long-term impacts and broader educational applications.

Abstract

The research questions addressed in this work are: 1) How models of social communication carried out by the government in fostering the former member Gafatar in Trenggalek ?. 2) How religious communication model made by religious leaders in fostering the former member Gafatar in Trenggalek?. 3) Whether the factors that prompted the government and religious leaders in fostering the former member Gafatar in Trenggalek ?. 4) Whether the factors that hinder the government and religious leaders in fostering the former member Gafatar in Trenggalek ?. This study used a qualitative approach in the design exploratory and ethnographic studies in the frame. Data collection techniques used is semistructured interviews, observation of non participant and documentation. After the data is collected, then analyzed using the techniques of analysis model template. The model is commonly used in ethnographic research, including research on the dynamics of the lives of individuals and groups. The research found out that: 1) Model of social communication carried out by the government in fostering the former member Gafatar in Trenggalek done using the approach communication patterns in the form of discussions, both formal and nonformal. In Addition, also be done by involving a former member Gafatar in any existingmutual assistance activities in the local communities. 2) Model of religious communication is done by religious leaders in fostering the former member Gafatar in Trenggalek done by providing an understanding of the true aqidah Islamiyah. In addition, also be done by involving a former member Gafatar in any religious activities in their local community, such as yasinan and tahlilan. 3) Factors that encourage government and religious leaders in fostering the former member Gafatar in Trenggalek consists of: psychological factors, factors means, and social factors. 4) Factors that hinder the government and religious leaders in fostering the former member Gafatar in Trenggalek namely the existence of barriers in terms of mindset and psychological factors perceived by a former member Gafatar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan model komunikasi partisipatif dalam pengembangan program pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) di lingkungan pesantren. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pendekatan holistik yang menyatukan nilai-nilai pesantren dengan metode komunikasi yang melibatkan semua pemangku kepentingan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melibatkan observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan diskusi kelompok terarah (FGD) dengan pendidik, pengasuh pesantren, dan orang tua. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model komunikasi partisipatif memegang peran penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung perkembangan anak secara komprehensif, mencakup aspek akademik, emosional, dan spiritual. Model ini memfasilitasi dialog aktif antara pihak pesantren dan orang tua dalam mengembangkan program PAUD yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan perkembangan anak. Tantangan utama yang teridentifikasi meliputi penyesuaian anak terhadap lingkungan pesantren dan keseimbangan antara kemandirian dengan kebutuhan dukungan emosional. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan program PAUD berbasis pesantren yang mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip komunikasi partisipatif untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih responsif.

Abstract

Yayasan Darul Ahbab adalah sebuah yayasan pendidikan Islam yang berlokasi di Desa Nglaban, Nganjuk, Jawa Timur. Selama masa pengembangan, yayasan ini menghadapi beberapa tantangan, salah satunya kurangnya persebaran informasi terkait lokasi yayasan, visi, misi, dan profil yayasan. Akibatnya, jumlah siswa baru pun tidak meningkat secara signifikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang sebuah website yang ramah pengguna, yang dapat memberikan informasi serta sebagai media promosi bagi yayasan dengan mempertimbangkan kebutuhan stakeholder dan pengguna. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan design thinking, yang terdiri dari fase understanding, design, dan evaluation. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi menggunakan kuesioner System Usability Score, rancangan website Yayasan Darul Ahbab mendapatkan skor 78,17 dengan kategori usability baik (good). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pengembangan website perlu dikombinasikan dengan kebutuhan pengguna lebih efektif dan berdampak sebagai medai informasi dan promosi.

Abstract

Abstrak Kisah-kisah dalam Al-Qur'an menarik perhatian karena mengandung hubungan sebab-akibat yang logis dan memberikan pesan serta pelajaran sejarah yang mendalam. Al-Qur'an memuat berbagai kisah yang mencakup masa lalu dan masa depan, seperti kisah Ashabul Kahfi dan burung Hudhud dalam cerita Nabi Sulaiman, yang memberikan pelajaran melalui simbol-simbol. Kisah-kisah ini disajikan dengan tujuan memberikan pelajaran moral dan spiritual, memperkokoh keimanan, serta membimbing manusia menuju kebaikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan untuk mengkaji kisah-kisah tersebut secara mendalam, guna mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif dan bermanfaat bagi kehidupan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Qashashul Qur'an, yang berarti cerita atau berita dalam bahasa Arab, merujuk pada kisah-kisah umat terdahulu, kenabian, dan peristiwa dalam Al-Qur'an. Kisah-kisah tersebut dibedakan berdasarkan waktu dan materi, dan disajikan tanpa urutan kronologis yang ketat, menunjukkan keindahan sastra Al-Qur'an sekaligus mempertahankan kebenaran historisnya. Dengan demikian, studi ini tidak hanya mengungkapkan karakteristik naratif Al-Qur'an tetapi juga mendalami nilai-nilai moral yang terkandung dalam kisah-kisah tersebut, menjadikan mereka sebagai sumber inspirasi etika Islam bagi umat manusia.

Abstract

This article is a report on ethnographic research regarding the social da'wah services of four religious figures, namely Kiai Ghofur, Gus Samsudin, Gus Idris, and Ustadz Ujang Busthomi. The study focuses on analyzing the process of demythologization in the social da'wah services they provide, particularly concerning the integration of religion, rationality, and the needs of modern society. The results indicate a shift from magical elements to a more rational approach in their social da'wah services, integrating religious literacy and faith-moral therapy with social, economic, and health solutions. These kiai emphasize the relevance of religion to the needs of modern society, the strengthening of social cohesion, and the importance of responding to contemporary challenges. This study identifies four main themes: the transformation of religious practices, the integration of social needs and the community, inclusivity and egalitarianism in social services, and social empowerment and stability.

Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates how Islam Nusantara is represented, contested, and legitimized across digital platforms, focusing on its role as both a cultural-religious discourse and a site of ideological negotiation. Methodology/approach: A mixed-method triangulation was employed, combining quantitative content analysis, qualitative framing analysis, and philological examination of digitized manuscripts. Validity and reliability were maintained through systematic coding, intercoder agreement, peer debriefing, re-coding cycles, and cross-referencing of manuscript variants. Results/findings: The quantitative findings reveal that Islam Nusantara discourse appeared in 2,354 posts across three major platforms, with 62% inclusivist frames, 28% nationalist frames, and 10% critical frames. Frequently recurring terms such as religious moderation, Islam rahmatan lil-‘alamin, and local culture confirm its online resonance. Framing analysis uncovers inclusivist, nationalist, and critical lenses shaping the discourse, while philological analysis demonstrates continuity with historical traditions of Islam–local culture synthesis. Conclusions: Islam Nusantara’s digital representation is multi-dimensional, shaped by both contemporary ideological contestation and deep-rooted textual legitimacy. The integration of quantitative, qualitative, and philological evidence provides a comprehensive framework for understanding religious discourse in the digital age. Limitations: The data are time-bound (up to June 2023) and limited to selected digital platforms, which may not fully capture the broader scope of Islam Nusantara debates. Contribution: The study theoretically introduces a triangulated methodological model (content, framing, philological) in digital religion research. Practically, it highlights Islam Nusantara’s potential to strengthen moderate Islamic discourse and support digital religious policies that foster inclusivity and cultural integration.
