Abstract

The ability to read plays a crucial role in the academic success and overall development of elementary school children. Unfortunately, many children in elementary school experience difficulties in reading, including issues with fluency, accuracy, and comprehension. These difficulties can lead to challenges in understanding the curriculum and result in lower academic achievement. To address this issue, a combined intervention approach was implemented, which combined repeated reading, listening while reading, error correction, and performance feedback methods. The aim of this intervention was to improve the accuracy aspect of reading fluency in elementary school children. This study used a single case experimental design with second-grade students as the research subjects. The development of children's reading abilities was measured using the Informal Reading Inventory. The results of the study indicate that the intervention provided was effective in improving the ability and fluency of reading in the research subjects.Kemampuan membaca memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam kesuksesan akademik dan perkembangan secara keseluruhan pada anak-anak sekolah dasar. Sayangnya, banyak anak di sekolah dasar mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca, termasuk dalam hal kelancaran, akurasi, dan pemahaman bacaan. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan kesulitan dalam memahami kurikulum dan berakibat pada pencapaian akademik yang rendah. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, diterapkan pendekatan intervensi gabungan dengan menggabungkan metode repeated reading, listening while reading, error correction, dan performance feedback. Tujuan dari intervensi ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aspek akurasi dari kelancaran membaca pada anak-anak sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen kasus tunggal dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 2 sekolah dasar. Perkembangan kemampuan anak diukur menggunakan Informal Reading Inventory. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intervensi yang diberikan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan dan kelancaran membaca pada subjek penelitian.

Abstract

Inclusive education in Indonesia is designed for all learners, both "regular" learners and learners with special needs. Inclusive education also aims to facilitate students with special needs to be able to get along with peers in general by placing one educational environment together with "regular" students, so that it is expected to realize an educational environment that respects diversity and without discrimination. However, in its implementation there are obstacles that are not easy to face, both for inclusive schools and teachers who teach. The purpose of this research is to find out the obstacles faced by inclusive schools and teachers at the primary school level and also provide strategies that can be used to optimize inclusive education. The research method used is a qualitative method with a literature review approach. The results of the study show that some of the obstacles faced are the lack of special mentor teachers, the lack of teacher knowledge about students with special needs, the imposed curriculum, the school environment that is still not friendly for students with special needs, and so on. Teachers can use various models, strategies, media and learning resources that are tailored to the class. One strategy that schools can do is to bring in professionals to provide insight for all school members regarding students with special needs. One method or strategy that parents of children with special needs can do is to apply the TEACCH method. And for the government, the education office needs to coordinate internally, especially in the field of educators who can understand the concept and implementation of inclusion policies on an ongoing basis.

Abstract

Since the early 21st century, bullying has been a central focus for scholars, with various forms, such as relational, physical, cyber, and social bullying, receiving extensive attention. However, the role of genetic and hereditary factors in bullying remains underexplored. This study systematically reviews 31 scholarly articles published between January 2000 and December 2021. Articles were selected based on predefined inclusion criteria, including methodological rigor, relevance to genetic influences on bullying, and clear population samples. Data sources included Google Scholar, ResearchGate, SAGE Journals, and ERIC, with keywords such as “bullying and genetics,” “bullying and hereditary,” and “family genetics involvement.” The findings reveal significant associations between genetic predispositions and bullying behaviors. For example, genetic factors were found to account for approximately 70–77% of bullying perpetration and victimization in multiple studies, highlighting a strong hereditary influence. Traits such as impulsivity and aggression, often linked to genetic predispositions, were also shown to interact with environmental factors such as family dynamics and peer relationships, amplifying bullying tendencies. These results underscore the critical role of genetic and hereditary transmission in shaping bullying behaviors across generations. The study emphasizes the need for a multidisciplinary approach that integrates genetic research with environmental interventions to address bullying effectively. Practical implications include the development of targeted anti-bullying programs that consider individual genetic susceptibility alongside fostering supportive family and school environments to reduce the intergenerational transmission of bullying behaviors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memetakan pola asuh orang tua anak dengan Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) di Indonesia melalui scoping review. Fokus penelitian mencakup: (1) identifikasi jenis pola asuh, (2) eksplorasi faktor sosiodemografis, psikologis, dan budaya yang memengaruhi pilihan pola asuh, serta (3) analisis dampak pola asuh terhadap kemandirian, kemampuan sosial, dan komunikasi anak. Literatur diperoleh dari database Crossref, Scopus, dan Semantic Scholar menggunakan panduan PRISMA-ScR, menghasilkan 22 artikel dari 1009 artikel yang disaring (2015–2025). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh demokratis (otoritatif) paling umum dan berdampak positif, sedangkan pola otoriter dan permisif berpotensi menghambat perkembangan anak. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan bagi orang tua, dan praktisi dalam memahami dan mengidentifikasi pola pengasuhan dan faktor-faktornya sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas intervensi bagi anak dengan Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) di Indonesia.
