Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and obtain empirical evidence on the impact of profitability, leverage, and free cash flow on firm value through dividend policy in companies within the Food, Beverage, and Pharmaceutical subsector from 2018 to 2023. The research was conducted on 18 companies using purposive sampling for the period 2018-2023. The data analysis method used was panel data regression, employing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Stata 17 software. The results of the study reveal the following Return on Equity (ROE) has a significant positive effect on Price to Book Value (PBV), Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER) has a positive but not significant effect on PBV, Free Cash Flow (FCF) has a positive but not significant effect on PBV, Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) has a significant positive effect on PBV, ROE has a significant positive indirect effect on firm value (PBV) through dividend policy, DER has a negative but not significant indirect effect on PBV through dividend policy, FCF has a positive but not significant indirect effect on PBV through dividend policy. These findings suggest that while profitability, as measured by ROE, directly and indirectly enhances firm value, leverage and free cash flow do not show significant direct or indirect effects on firm value within the observed period and subsector.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze how the profit sharing ratio and profit margin in murabaha can affect the return on assets of Islamic banks in Indonesia. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive, the data used is secondary data by taking data from Islamic bank financial reports for the period 2019 – 2021. The population of Islamic banks is 14 banks, then data is taken from 3 banks using a purposive sampling technique. In this study it was found that profit sharing ratios and profit margins in murabahah transactions are important in increasing the profitability of Islamic banks in Indonesia. High profit sharing for Islamic banks will increase bank profits, but profitable profit sharing ratios for Islamic banks will make customers reluctant to deposit their funds in Islamic banks which will reduce profits. Thus the size of the profit sharing ratio between the customer and the bank must comply with the principles of fairness and equity. Likewise, high profit margins charged to customers will make customers look for other financing alternatives outside of Islamic banks

Abstract

This study aims to analyze differences in work behavior through work motivation and employee work stress during the pandemic and during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a quantitative descriptive design by distributing questionnaires to employees in DKI Jakarta. The number of research samples is 100 people using snowball sampling technique. The problems in the study were tested by different tests with the paired sample t-test, MannWhitney (Wilcoxon), and Kruskall-Wallis. The results of this study are that the COVID-19 pandemic weakens work behaviors related to work stress even though work motivation does not. One of the causes of poor work behavior is because employees work from home. Currently, the main cause of increased work stress is because employees are facing increased unemployment since the spread of COVID-19; or female employees whose workloads are increasingly related to the dual roles of employees and teachers at home since school closures. On the other hand, there is no difference in work motivation before the outbreak of COVID-19, because employees have to earn daily income so they can support their families every day and avoid unemployment. As such, managers must comply with laws concerning employment regulations and disclose important information to employees. Managers need to evaluate layoff issues, evaluate and develop continuity plans according to government regulations to improve work and support employees and their families.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the partial influence of Green Investment, Profitability, and Company Size on Financial Sustainability against the background of the importance of sustainability in all sectors, including industry. This study uses a quantitative method. The study examines 14 stable companies listed on the IDX 30 from 2016 to 2023, selected through purposive sampling. It utilizes secondary data collected via the study-desk method. Data analysis is conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS 23. According to the study's findings, financial sustainability is somewhat positive but is slightly influenced by green investments, profitability, and company size. The causes of the three hypotheses only have a positive effect, but not significant, because there are variables that are more dominant in influencing Financial Sustainability, the time spectrum has a significant effect only in the long term, a significant influence only occurs after combining the mediator or moderator variables, the relatively small sample size, industry differences, and research site variations.

Abstract

The research highlights the importance of adopting environmental sustainability principles to enhance employee performance in the geothermal energy sector. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees of PT Geo Dipa Energi (Persero). Using Partial Least Squares (PLS), the study tested hypotheses and analyzed both direct and indirect relationships among the variables. The findings show that green organizational culture significantly and positively affects both job satisfaction and employee performance. Green innovation also has a significant positive effect on both outcomes. Although green employability does not significantly influence job satisfaction, it has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Job satisfaction is found to mediate the relationship between green organizational culture and employee performance positively. The study suggests that PT Geo Dipa Energi (Persero) should continue to strengthen its green organizational culture and innovation while also developing training programs to enhance green employability. These efforts are expected to improve both employee satisfaction and performance, offering practical insights into the role of sustainability initiatives in organizational development.
