Abstract

Gubernur Provinsi Sumatera Utara memiliki peran penting dalam penyaluran beasiswa pendidikan ke sekolah-sekolah di Kota Medan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis efektivitas penyaluran beasiswa Gubernur Sumatera Utara ke sekolah di Kota Medan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dengan pejabat di Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi, Kepala Sekolah, dan penerima beasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peran Gubernur belum maksimal dalam penyaluran beasiswa. Beberapa persoalan ditemukan antara lain, kurangnya koordinasi Gubernur dengan dinas terkait untuk memastikan penyaluran beasiswa tepat sasaran dan tepat waktu, sosialisasi yang belum menyeluruh ke seluruh calon penerima beasiswa, dan belum adanya standar operasional prosedur yang jelas terkait seleksi penerima beasiswa. Disarankan peran Gubernur dapat ditingkatkan dengan mendorong terbentuknya tim khusus yang bertanggungjawab atas pengelolaan beasiswa, melakukan sosialisasi yang lebih gencar bekerja sama dengan dinas pendidikan dan sekolah, serta membuat standar operasional prosedur yang transparan untuk proses seleksi penerima beasiswa. Dengan demikian, diharapkan penyaluran beasiswa pendidikan oleh Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Utara dapat lebih optimal dan tepat sasaran khususnya bagi siswa berprestasi dan kurang mampu di Kota Medan.

Abstract

Anak merupakan individu yang tergolong dalam masa perkembangan dan perubahan. Anak termasuk individu yang memerlukan pendidikan. Pendidikan pada anak merupakan sebuah dasar yang dapat digunakan untuk masa depan. Pendidikan dibutuhkan oleh anak guna menumbuhkan rasa tanggung jawab dan meningkatkan partisipasinya dalam masyarakat serta berkontribusi untuk kemajuan negaranya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Tempat Pembuangan Akhir Batu Bola berlokasi di Desa Simatohir Kecamatan Angkola Julu, Kota Padangsidimpuan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana dampak sosial ekonomi pemulung terhadap tingkat pendidikan anak di TPA Batu Bola. Informan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari penjaga TPA Batu Bola, 5 orang pemulung, serta Kepala Desa Simatohir dan 2 orang anak pemulung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan studi pustaka, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Untuk menjawab permasalahan penelitian, digunakan teori kondisi sosial ekonomi oleh Soehandono dan tingkat pendidikan formal menurut UU Sisdiknas. Sehingga ditemukan bahwa kondisi sosial ekonomi pemulung berdampak terhadap tingkat pendidikan formal anak mereka, dari teori kondisi sosial ekonomi oleh Soehandono antara lain kondisi rumah, kegiatan ekonomi, pangan, sandang dan aktivitas sosial. Serta dilihat dari tingkat pendidikan formal yang dimiliki anak pemulung berdasarkan UU Sisdiknas meliputi tingkat pendidikan dasar, tingkat pendidikan menengah, dan tingkat pendidikan tinggi

Through this PKL program, students Will be more active outside campus and hone their creativity for sustainability and improving the quality of Education. This journal Will explain the practical field work program carried out at the Ashabul Muhajirin Medan Islamic Foundation, which is located on Jl.Perjuangan No.45L,Tj.Rejo, Kec.Medan Sunggal, Medan City, North Sumatra 20122. The focus of this PKL program is to foster an attitude of mutual respect and respect among children.

Abstract

As one of the policies issued by the World Trade Organization (WTO), the Agreement on Agriculture is an agricultural commodity agreement that binds all WTO member countries. As the fourth largest coffee producer globally, Indonesia must accept this policy as the exit to Indonesian coffee to various countries around the world. The study's findings get three things that influence agreement on agriculture (AoA) on Indonesian coffee imports. First, the opening of market access; Second, the reduction of domestic subsidies; Third, the removal of export subsidies. The method used in this study is qualitative-transcribed.

Abstract

In this era of increasingly rapid development and progress, there are so many learning resources and styles that can be applied by teaching staff to increase students' interest in learning and enthusiasm. However, even so, the current learning system still often finds cases where students will just sit listening to the teacher deliver learning material and only follow what is conveyed by the teacher without understanding what the teacher is conveying. Therefore, the teacher is expected to be able to foster students' interest in being directly involved in the learning process. Participatory learning can be interpreted as an effort by educators to involve students in learning activities. Participatory learning activities imply the participation of students in learning activities so that they can achieve the goals of the learning itself. The purpose of this study was to improve students' reading skills at UPT SDN 064960 using a participatory method. This activity is a field work practice in collaboration with campus programs teaching USU partners for approximately four months of assignment. The method used by researchers is a social work method at the mezzo intervention level with a groupwork approach. From the results of the implementation of participatory learning methods in improving students' reading skills, it was concluded that they could achieve predetermined goals in this program, namely increasing students' reading skills.

Abstract

The orphan and poor self-reliance program is a values   and life skills-based orphan empowerment program for foster children and children assisted by Rumah Yatim by developing children's potential so that they are able to live in society. Focusing on the curriculum points of the orphan self-reliance program, including religious ability, yaumiyah, morals, academic values   and skills. Morals/character are one of the main points inherent in a person, especially children, where apart from academic education, strengthening religious values   themselves is really needed by children in the current environment and in the future. The purpose of this writing is as a result of the author's dedication in carrying out Field Work Practices II at Rumah Yatim Ar-Rohman Institution. The method used is qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation and interviews and using Macro Social Work Techniques, namely Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) with a participatory assessment approach. Then the source of additional data from this writing is a review of related literature which can support the discussion. By strengthening religious values, it has a positive impact so that the target children can recognize and understand the importance of morals for themselves. This can be seen from the willingness to learn of the children assisted by Rumah Yatim Ar-Rohman, Medan City.

Abstract

Childcare is an obligation that must be carried out by the family. This research focuses on the influence of the social environment to behaviour forming of children at Puteri Daerah Aisyiyah Orphanage in Medan, so it was conducted at the orphanage because there are social phenomena in the form of prosocial and antisocial behaviour. This study used a quantitative approach and correlation analysis method by sampling using the total sampling method is all 39 children. Data collected using a questionnaire. Hypothesis testing in this study uses single linear regression analysis with a partial test (T test). The results of simple linear regression analysis show that the independent variable is the Social Environment has a positive and significant influence to behaviour forming of children at Puteri Daerah Aisyiyah Orphanage in Medan with a t-count value t-table (5.346 2.026192) which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted with a significance value of t 0.05 (0.000 0.05). The results of simple linear regression analysis show that the equation Y = 13.366 + 0.408X which means a = 13.366 and b = 408. The result of the calculation of the coefficient of determination (R Square) test is 0.436.Keyword: Influence, Children, Social Environment, Behavior Forming, Orphanage

Abstract

Group study is one of the group activities most often carried out by students, namely group study. This activity is considered very useful because it has many benefits, such as increasing intelligence, teaching how to lead effective discussions and teaching how to interact with fellow students. This research aims to identify and implement effective strategies to create enthusiasm for group learning in orphanage children. This research involves the active participation of children in group learning activities, taking into account their individual needs. The author sees that by building enthusiasm for group learning in children at the orphanage, the mirror of eternal love shows that the formation of a positive learning environment, the application of interesting learning methods, and strong emotional support can increase the enthusiasm for group learning. Apart from that, this research also emphasizes the importance of orphanage caregivers in creating an environment that is conducive to learning. There are many ways to increase the learning enthusiasm of a group of children. The method used in the application of this program activity uses a casework method through general intervention stages consisting of Engagement Intake Contract, Assessment, plan/Planning, intervention, evaluation, Termination. The results of this activity are children's participation in group learning activities, better academic achievement and social interactions

Abstract

The Family Hope Program (PKH) is a conditional cash transfer program that accelerates poverty alleviation in Indonesia by providing access to healthcare, education, and other basic social services. This study focuses on educational interventions for children receiving PKH in Nagahuta Village through Field Work Practice (PKL). The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to produce descriptive data from natural conditions. The practitioners conducted the "BerKreMo" (Learning through Playing, Creativity, and Motivation) mini project to address children's learning issues. The intervention results showed that the "BerKreMo" program successfully increased the learning motivation of children who were previously reluctant to study, making them more active and motivated. Activities that combined learning with play and creative endeavors effectively enhanced the children's interest and abilities in reading and learning English. This program also provided new insights to the community on the importance of interactive and creative education, raising awareness and community participation in supporting children's development. This study concludes that "BerKreMo" can improve children's behavior and comprehensively develop their social, cognitive, and emotional skills, creating a positive impact in the Nagahuta Village environment. Abstract

Dalam pelaksanaan program magang ini dilakukan di mitra Badan Restorasi Gambut dan Mangrove. Mitra ini bergerak untuk memfasilitasi percepatan pelaksanaan restorasi gambut dan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat pada areal restorasi gambut serta melaksanakan percepatan rehabilitasi mangrove di provinsi target. Adapun permasalahan yang dihadapi ialah angka kesejahteraan masyarakat itu menurun. Sebab akibat dari penurunan angka masyarakat ialah terjadi karena tidak adanya wadah untuk dijadikan sebagai wadah pemberdayaan masyarakat. Sebab tidak semua masyarakat mudah untuk menerima ajakan dalam melakukan pemberdayaan. Permasalahan internal sangat mempengaruhi masyarakat untuk tidak terbuka terhadap orang luar. Perlunya upaya untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Dalam melakukan penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan yang bersumber pada jurnal, artikel, skripsi, buku, serta penelitian yang sudah dilakukan sebelumnya. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemberdayaan masyarakat sekitar hutan mangrove dalam melakukan pengembangan serta pengelolaan ekowisata.
