Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see how far the influence of external factors toward the economic growth in Indonesia and also to see any external factors that can decreasing economic growth in short and long term. The method is used in this research is Ordinary Least Square with use Error Correction Model (ECM) test and Cointegration. Based on analysis data was obtained three conclusions were; The first is based on the results of multiple regression, foreign investment and world oil prices and a significant positive effect on economic growth in Indonesia, while the exchange rate and foreign debt and no significant positive effect on economic growth in Indonesia at the 5% significance level. The second is in the short term through the Error Correction Model (ECM) test, the world oil price and foreign direct investment to boost economic growth while exchange rate USD / $ (NTR) and External Debt (ED) can shocks the economic growth in Indonesia. The third is in the long term through cointegration test, the variables included in the model and no significant negative effect on economic growth

Abstract

This research  aims to determine (1) the effect of net export on government debt in Indonesia, (2) the effect of fiscal policy on government debt in Indonesia, (3) the effect of net export and fiscal policy on government debt in Indonesia. The method used in this study is multiple linear regression. The research type is descriptive research while the data used is time series data from 1987-2016 obtained from documentation of Bank Indonesia, and BPS Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that (1) net export has a significant positive effect on government debt in Indonesia (2) fiscal policy has a significant positive effect on government debt in Indonesia (3) net export and fiscal policy has a significant positif effect on government debt in Indonesia. Based on this research is expected to provide information about government debt as well as the factors that influence, and so the government and society can monitor and increase efforts to reduce government debt.

Abstract

This research is aims to analyze the effect of Economic Growth and the number of poducers toward revenue of retribution in seven regencies in West Sumatra. Method that being used is Panel Least Square and is used Random Effect Model (REM). Data used is panel data from 2012-2016 from Badan Pusat Statistik, Badan Kuangan Sumatra Barat, and DJPK Indonesia. The estimation results show that Economic growth has a positive and significant effect on retribution and Sellers has a positive and significant effect on retribution. This result shows that economic growth and sellers has partial effect to revenue of retribution. This study is to give information about govenrment income specially retribution and government could increase service facility of market to achieved revenue target from retribution.

Abstract

This study aims to know and analyze the influence of Democracy, Gini and Province Minimum Wages to Economic Growth in Indonesia. The data used are panel data from 33 Provinces in Indonesia during the period 2010-2016. The type of research used is descriptive and associative. The type of data used is secondary data. This research uses Random Effect Model (REM) approach.The results of this study indicate that: (1) Indonesian Democracy Index has no significant effect on Economic Growth in Indonesia, (2) Gini index has negative and significant impact on Economic Growth in Indonesia; (3) Province Minimum Wage has positive and significant impact on Economic Growth in Indonesia., (4) Indonesia Democracy Index, Gini Index, Province Minimum Wage have a significant effect on Economic Growth in Indonesia. Suggested to the government should pay more attention to the condition of Democracy, Gini Index and Provincial Minimum Wage, because then it can give influence to economic growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze The effect of formal education , international trade , the health of the population the amount of investment , and income distribution affects economic growth in provinces in Indonesia. The scope of this study is to analyze the variable distribution of income , economic growth in the provinces in Indonesia . It also uses a variable formal education , international trade , health , and investment . Abstract

This research to analyze the influence of macro economic variables impact on Chinese Foreign Direct Investment in Indonesia. The influence of China’s economic growth, Indonesia’s economic growth, interest rates, inflation and exchange rates against Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) China in Indonesia in the long term and short term. Type of this research is descriptive research, the secondary data use form time series data, from 2001Q1 – 2016Q4, taken  from agencies and related institution, the analysis using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) and Error Correction Model (ECM) to see the influence in a long term and impact in the short term. This research show that Indonesia’s economic growth of China’s economic growth and inflation is have a significant effect in the long term Chinas’s FDI in Indonesia. Variable economic growth of Indonesia’s, interest rates, inflation, exchange rate in the short term influence China’s Foreign Direct Investment in Indonesia. How ever in the long term interest rates and exchange rate do not influence significantly, to China’s FDI in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the causal relationship of triple deficit hypotheis between budget deficit, current account deficit, and saving-investment gap in Indonesia by using Vector Autoregression (VAR) method. The type of this research is descriptive reseacrh, where the data used secondary data in the form of time series data from the year 2003:Q1-2016:Q4. The finding of this study indicate that budget deficit and current account deficit have one-way relationship, budget deficit and saving-investment gaphave one-way relationship and current account deficit and saving-investment gap not have causality or one-way relationship.

Abstract

This research purpose to analysis the effect of (1) income, (2) the population, (3) the area of expenditure of local government in West Sumatra. This type of research includes descriptive and inductive. This study uses BPS data 2010-2016 with data analysis method using panel regression (Pooled Analysis) and classical assumption test with stages (1) Multicollinearity test, (2) Heteroscedasticitytest. The results of this study indicate that negative income has a significant effect on government spending. Negative population is not significant to local government spending. And then, the last variable the size of the area has a significant negative effect on the expenditure of the local government in accordance with the research of Nazara and Nurkholis.

Abstract

This stuudy”explains the analysis causality of economic”growth poverty, and income”inequality in west”sumatera. The method used is to a panel regression model. This data uses a combination of time series data”from 2013-2017, which consists of 19 city districts. Data obtained from BPS annual”report (Statistics Indonesia). The”results of”this study show that (1) there is no”causall relationship”between”economic”growth and poverty (2) there is a causal relationship”between”economic”growth”and inequality (3) there is no causal relationship”between poverty”and income”inequaality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of (1) Level of Education, (2) Unemployment, and (3) Poverty against crime in Indonesia by using the panel regression equation model and using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach. The estimation results show that (1) the level of education has a negative and not significant effect on criminality in Indonesia, (2) unemployment has a negative and significant effect on crime in Indonesia, (3) poverty has a positive and significant influence on crime in Indonesia.This type of research is descriptive and associative. Data type is secondary data. This study uses panel data, which uses 31 provinces in Indonesia using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach.The results of this study indicate that: (1) The level of education has a negative and insignificant influence on crime in Indonesia, (2) Unemployment has a negative and significant effect on crime in Indonesia, (3) Poverty has a positive and significant influence on crime in Indonesia.
