Abstract

Learning model Resource Based Learning exposes students to various learning resources. In addition, students are given the freedom to determine how to complete answers so as to provide opportunities for students to be more skilled in determining answers. The purpose of this study was to determine the critical thinking and mathematical communication skills of students of SMP 2 Pubian Central Lampung. The research method used is the Quasy Experimental Design with Post-test Control Group Design and the sampling technique used in this study is. The homogeneity test uses thetest multivariateof analysis , statistical test research shows that the p-value is smaller than the test criteria (0.000 <0.05) with the significance level of the test criteria, namely 5% or 0.05, in other words it can be concluded that the ability to think critically and Mathematical communication applied with thelearning model Resource Based Learning is better than the critical thinking skills and mathematical communication applied with conventional learning.

Abstract

The entry of Islam into Indonesia has a long history, starting with Gujarat traders and then Arab and Persian traders. While trading they spread the teachings of Islam to their anchorage throughout Indonesia. Many also speculate that Islam entered Indonesia in the 7th or 8th century, because in that century there were Islamic villages around the Straits of Malacca. The history of the development of the entry of Islam in Indonesia cannot be separated from acculturation with local culture. Islamic teachings are welcomed by various cultures in the archipelago, or Java, which have been acculturated with Hindu, Buddhist, and ancestral traditions. The definition or understanding of acculturation is important to understand in this context, continuing with the initial process of the entry of Islamic teachings in the archipelago which eventually became the largest religion embraced by the Indonesian population. The result of acculturation of Islam with local culture in the archipelago that has existed before then produces something new and is a blend of these different cultures.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of realistic mathemathic education models on students' mathematical reasoning abilities in terms of learning styles. This type of research is quantitative. Data collection techniques used are essay tests and interviews. The data analysis technique used is hypothesis testing using anava 2 roads. However, before the anova test is carried out, the normality, homogeneity and balance test are carried out first. Based on the data that has been known that normal data, based on the same and balanced variance, the 2-way ANOVA test results show that there is an influence of the RTE model on students' mathematical reasoning ability, namely the reasoning ability of students with the RME model treatment is better than mathematical reasoning ability with conventional treatment methods. In addition, there is the influence of student learning styles on students' reasoning abilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat dampak model pembelajaran Mood, Understanding, Recall, Digest, Expand, Review (MURDER) berbantuan gamifikasi dan self concept terhadap dampak kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMK Persada Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel terdiri dari dua kelas, kelas yang pertama yaitu kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran Mood, Understanding, Recall, Digest, Expand, Review (MURDER) berbantuan media gamifikasi dan kelas kedua yaitu kelas kontrol yang diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan strategi quasi eksperiment. Hasil rata rata dari penelitian ini pada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model MURDER yaitu sebesar 82,181 dan kelas kontrol dengan model PBL yaitu sebesar 65,587. Rata-rata angket yang diperoleh pada self concept tinggi adalah 77,214, dan pada self concept sedang adalah 73,271, sedangkan pada self concept rendah adalah 71,167. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas dan homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji anova dua arah. Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in understanding mathematical concepts between classes taught with the MURDER learning model (Mood, Understanding, Recall, Digest, Expend, and Review) assisted by Ice Breaking and conventional learning in class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Seputih Surabaya. This type of research is Quasy Experimental Design using a 2×3 factorial research design. The samples used were students of class XI Accounting 1 and XI Accounting 2 SMK Negeri 1 Seputih Surabaya. This study also uses Cluster Random Sampling as a sampling technique, as well as for data collection, namely through tests. The data analysis technique was carried out quantitatively by using the Two Way ANOVA Test (Two-Way Variance Analysis). Through the calculation of the hypothesis, the results obtained that the p-Value value of the Ice Breaking-assisted MURDER learning model = 0.000 less than = 0.05 so that the p-Value , it can be said that there is an effect of using the Ice Breaking-Assisted MURDER learning model on the ability to understand students' mathematical concept .

Abstract

Understanding mathematical concepts is the understanding ability that students must have in mastering learning concepts and applying them in everyday life. This research aims to determine the influence of the TGT learning model assisted by Genially on the ability to understand mathematical concepts and interest in learning, the influence of the TGT learning model assisted by Genially on the ability to understand mathematical concepts, and the influence of the TGT learning model assisted by Genially on interest in learning. The research sample was students in classes VIII H, VIII I, and VIII J of SMPN 1 Natar. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling by collecting data in the form of tests and questionnaires. The test uses MANOVA test analysis. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it was concluded that there was an influence of the Genially assisted TGT model on understanding mathematical concepts and interest in learning, there was an influence of the Genially assisted TGT model on understanding mathematical concepts, and there was an influence of the Genially assisted TGT model on interest in learning.

Abstract

Kemampuan analisis dan evaluasi dalam pelajaran matematika adalah keterampilan penting yang harus dimiliki siswa untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran dan membantu memecahkan berbagai masalah matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran RADEC terhadap keterampilan analisis dan evaluasi matematis siswa. Jenis dan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen, yaitu desain quasy eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan yaitu desain posttest only group untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran RADEC. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes keterampilan analisis dan keterampilan evaluasi matematis siswa. Data diolah menggunakan uji Tests of Between-Subjects Effects dan uji multivariat. Hasil uji keterampilan analisis menunjukkan nilai p-value sebesar 0,014, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari model RADEC terhadap kemampuan analisis siswa. Hasil untuk keterampilan evaluasi dengan p-value 0,002 juga menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan. Uji multivariat dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 menghasilkan p-value 0,009, sehingga hipotesis nol ditolak dan disimpulkan bahwa menggunakan model pembelajaran RADEC berpengaruh pada keterampilan analisis dan evaluasi siswa SMP Negeri 23 Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Quranic Tahfidz Program at Insan Mulya Boarding School (IMBOS) Pringsewu in improving the spirituality and discipline of students. The background of this study highlights the importance of Islamic character education and the formation of spiritual personality through Quranic memorization, which is integrated with spiritual development. The IMBOS Tahfidz program is designed systematically and integratedly, encompassing all educational activities of students to achieve the stated objectives. A qualitative research method with a case study approach is used to explore the program's implementation in depth. Data collection is carried out through observations of the implementation of talaqqi, muraja'ah, ziyadah, and tasmi' in a small halaqah system, as well as analysis of the tiered evaluation system (daily, weekly, monthly) and the role of musyrif/musyrifah. The focus of observation also includes adequate tahfidz facilities and a conducive religious environment (bi'ah Qur'aniyah). The results of the study indicate that the IMBOS Tahfidz Program is very effective. The students' spiritual growth is evident in their strengthened relationship with Allah SWT, their devotion to worship, and their deepening religious understanding through the integration of memorization (tahfidz) and tafsir studies. Students' discipline also significantly improves, marked by adherence to schedules, good time management, and the development of consistency and independence, all rooted in spiritual awareness and moral responsibility. This program successfully shapes a holistic Quranic personality, where students' spirituality permeates the moral, emotional, and existential dimensions, creating students who are not only disciplined but also possess a high level of moral responsibility.

Abstract

The growing demand for quality education in the globalization era requires students to develop strong mathematical conceptual understanding alongside essential 21st-century competencies. However, international assessments such as PISA indicate that students’ conceptual mastery in several ASEAN countries remains relatively low, partly due to instructional approaches that are less contextual and culturally relevant. In response, ethnomathematics-based learning has been proposed as an alternative model that integrates local cultural contexts into mathematics instruction to enhance meaningful understanding. This study aims to quantitatively synthesize empirical evidence regarding the effectiveness of ethnomathematics-based learning models in improving students’ mathematical conceptual understanding and to examine the influence of moderator variables. A meta-analysis was conducted on 26 eligible studies published between 2018 and 2025, selected through purposive sampling from the Google Scholar database. Effect sizes were calculated using Hedges’ g under a random-effects model, followed by outlier detection, heterogeneity testing, moderator analysis, and publication bias assessment. The results reveal a statistically significant and very high pooled effect size (g = 1.21, p < 0.0001) after outlier removal, indicating strong effectiveness compared to conventional instruction. Despite substantial heterogeneity, moderator analyses highlight variations across educational levels, mathematical topics, cultural contexts, and learning models. Overall, ethnomathematics-based learning demonstrates robust empirical support as an effective approach to strengthening students’ mathematical conceptual understanding.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes of students. Preliminary observations at MTs Muhammadiyah Sukarame showed that many eighth-grade students had not achieved the minimum mastery criteria (KKM). In addition, previous studies have reported that low student engagement and ineffective learning strategies contribute to poor mathematics learning outcomes. Therefore, an innovative learning model is needed. This study aimed to determine differences in mathematics learning outcomes between students taught using blended learning assisted by Google Classroom and those taught using conventional learning, based on students’ learning motivation levels. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a population of 106 eighth-grade students at MTs Muhammadiyah Sukarame. The sample was selected using cluster random sampling. Data were collected through a mathematics learning outcomes test and a learning motivation questionnaire and analyzed using a two-way ANOVA test. The results showed that there was no interaction between the learning model and learning motivation (p-value = 0.848 > 0.05). However, students taught using blended learning assisted by Google Classroom achieved better mathematics learning outcomes compared to those taught using conventional learning. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa. Hasil observasi awal di MTs Muhammadiyah Sukarame menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa kelas VIII belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Selain itu, penelitian terdahulu juga menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya keterlibatan siswa dan kurang efektifnya strategi pembelajaran berkontribusi terhadap rendahnya hasil belajar matematika. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan inovasi dalam model pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan blended learning berbantuan Google Classroom dan siswa yang diajar menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional, ditinjau dari tingkat motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi eksperimen dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTs Muhammadiyah Sukarame yang berjumlah 106 siswa. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar matematika dan angket motivasi belajar, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji ANOVA dua arah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar (p-value = 0,848 > 0,05). Namun demikian, siswa yang diajar menggunakan blended learning berbantuan Google Classroom memiliki hasil belajar matematika yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional.
