Abstract

Consumer satisfaction is a condition where consumers expect products or services that are in accordance with their wishes. The study aimed to analyze the level of Melon’s consumers’ satisfaction at Hortimart Agro Center based on variables of product quality, price, service quality and promotion. The research was expected to bring benefit in determining the policies taken by the Hortimart Agro Center to increase Melon’s customers’ satisfaction. The research was conducted from February to March 2023. The research location was at Hortimart Agro Center. The research method used in the study was a survey. Respondents were determined by accidental sampling method with a sample size of 100 respondents. Data analysed were using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) analysis to analyze the level of Melon’s consumers’ satisfaction at Hortimart Agro Center based on the factors that affect consumer satisfaction namely product quality, price, service quality and promotion. The results showed that there are in Quadrant I (two attributes namely design and promotional publicity), Quadrant II (ten attributes namely quality, taste, durability, benefits, price in accordance with quality, as well as reliable and responsive Hortimart employee services), Quadrant III (four attributes namely affordable prices than prices elsewhere and Hortimart promotions through advertising media and brochures), Quadrant IV (no attributes). Melon’s consumers’ satisfaction value at Hortimart Agro Center reached 83.05% which is in the very satisfied category.

Abstract

Demak Regency, despite being a food-producing area, faces potential food insecurity. This study analyzed household income, food and non-food expenditures, spending and consumption of livestock- based foods, and food security based on energy adequacy levels (EAL) and the share of food expenditures. The role of animal protein consumption was emphasized due to its importance in improving nutrition and food security among poor households. The research was conducted from October 2024 to March 2025 in Sayung (Tugu, Banjarsari) and Bonang (Purworejo, Morodemak) Subdistricts, purposively selected for their highest poverty levels. Using a survey of 104 households, data were collected through interviews, 2×24-hour food recall, and observation. The results showed that average income IDR 1,790,290.89/ month; food expenditure IDR 1,041,490.40; livestock-based food expenditure IDR 193,389.42; non- food expenditure IDR 744,884.16; livestock-based food consumption 48.10 g/capita/day; food insecurity dominated (73.08%), while 26.92% were food secure.

Abstract

Kaum perempuan juga mempunyai andil besar dalam kegiatan penanggulangan kemiskinan melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat. Salah satunya kaum perempuan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarganya dengan melakukan kegiatan usaha produktif rumah tangga, dengan memproduksi dan menjual makan rumahan. Peluang bisnis makanan rumahan masih terbuka karena makanan rumahan merupakan makanan pokok masyarakat, dimana makanan tersebut dibutuhkan setiap saat. Bisnis makanan rumahan tidak terlalu sulit dilakukan, karena ibu-ibu rumah tangga dapat melakukan kegiatan produksi atau memasak sekaligus untuk keluarganya dan bahan bakunya mudah diperoleh di pasar-pasar tradisional. Dan juga merupaakan konsep mencipkan makanan yang halal dan thoibah Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan Ibu-ibu Rumah Tangga JL.Karya Mandiri RT.04 RW.01, 01 Kelurahan perhentian marpoyan damai pekanbaru, dapat memperbaiki manajemen usaha dan mencari peluang usaha yang dapat dilakukan dari rumah tanpa harus meninggalkan keluarga.

Abstract

Chili is an important commodity for daily consumption, and its demand has the potential to increase as the population grows. The centralized location of production and the uncertainty of production quantities cause price disparities, reflecting poor supply management. This study aims to describe the corporate institutions of chili farming, analyze institutional performance, and factors that affect income of farmers. The method used is descriptive quantitative with a sample of 77 respondents taken with the Slovin formula at Gapoktan Bina Tani and Gapoktan Sumber Jaya in Blora. Data were collected through interviews with questionnaires, and multiple linear regression analysis was used to determine influential factors. The results showed that the institutional strengthening program variable (X1), the partnership expansion program (X2), and the economic scale improvement program (X3) had a high average value, meaning that the majority of respondents gave positive responses to the programs implemented. Factors that have a significant effect on chili farming income are variables of education level, length of farming, and amount of production, while variables of age, land area, and company performance have no significant effect on chili farming income. This conclusion indicates the need for institutional development to improve the welfare of chili farmers. Keywords: Chilli, Corporation, Farmer, Income, Institution.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality on community satisfaction in the Air Cold sub-district, Bukit Raya Pekanbaru. The sample in this study was Air Cold sub-district, Bukit Raya Pekanbaru, which amounted to 100 people. The data analysis used is validity test, reliability test, normality test, heteroscedasticity test, simple linear regression, coefficient of determination test and T test. The influence of service quality on community satisfaction in the Air Cold sub-district, Bukit Raya Pekanbaru district has a significant effect with the coefficient of determination R2 of 0.803. This means that the variable of community satisfaction (Y) is influenced by the service quality variable (X) of 80.3%, while the remaining 19.7% is explained by other factors not examined by the author. The service quality variable (X) has a positive influence on community satisfaction (Y) with a regression coefficient of 0.244 indicating that if the service quality increases by 1 unit, the employee productivity variable will increase by 0.244, which means that the higher the service quality, the higher the community satisfaction. The results of the hypothesis test show the value of tcount > ttable (2,972 > 1,984) with sig 0.000 < sig 0.05, which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that the quality of service has a significant effect on community satisfaction in the Air Cold sub-district, Bukit Raya Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 menimbulkan dampak negatif bagi kehidupan masyarakat. Tatanan hidup baru diadaptasikan seperti pola konsumsi makan. Daging sapi merupakan komoditas yang baik untuk menjaga dan memenuhi kebutuhan gizi  tubuh. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan menganalisis perilaku dan kepuasan konsumen rumah tangga terhadap daging sapi pada saat pandemi. Manfaat penelitian diharapkan dapat membantu pelaku usaha/pemasar daging sapi dalam memenuhi kepuasan konsumen. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan September-Oktober 2020. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survey. Lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara purposive dengan pertimbangan tingkan kepadatan penduduk cukup tinggi dan mata pencaharian penduduk beragam. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dengan responden rumah tangga berdasarkan kuesioner terstruktur dan  observasi.  Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 90 dengan menggunakan quota sampling, dan sebaran masing-masing 30 sampel pada Kelurahan Pedalangan, Srondol Wetan, dan Padangsari. Analisis data  menggunakan analisis deskriptif, IPA, dan CSI. Hasil analisis deskriptif tentang perilaku konsumen terdiri dari lima tahap perilaku konsumen. Tahap tersebut diantaranya tahap pengenalan kebutuhan, pencarian informasi, evaluasi alternatif, keputusan pembelian, dan perilaku pasca pembelian. Hasil analisis IPA menunjukan  bahwa kuadran I terdiri dari harga dan kandungan lemak yang merupakan prioritas utama untuk memperbaiki atribut tersebut, kuadran II terdiri dari tekstur, jenis potongan, dan ketersediaan produk yang harus dijaga kinerjanya, kuadran III terdiri dari aroma dan kemasan yang perlu sedikit perbaikan, dan kuadran IV terdiri dari warna dan kemudahan pembelian yang perlu sedikit pengurangan untuk mencegah pemborosan. Hasil analisis CSI sebesar 70,7% yang berada pada rentang 66%-80,00% yang menunjukan konsumen puas terhadap daging sapi. Kata kunci : perilaku konsumen, kepuasan konsumen, rumah tangga, daging sapi, pandemi.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze consumers' Willingness to Pay (WTP) for imported fruits (Fuji apple, red grape, and pear) and to analyze the influence of consumer characteristics on the WTP value in the supermarkets of Semarang City. This study employed a survey method with a quota sampling technique on 150 respondents who are consumers of imported fruits in three selected supermarkets in Semarang City. Data analysis to determine the average WTP value used the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM), while the influence of consumer characteristics—including age, education, income, health consciousness, and expenditure on imported fruits—was analyzed using logistic regression. The results showed that the majority of consumers were willing to pay more, with the highest average WTP increase for red grapes (13.30%), followed by Fuji apples (12.75%), and pears (10.50%). The logistic regression analysis indicated that the factors influencing WTP differed for each fruit. The WTP for Fuji apples was positively influenced by expenditure on imported fruits. The WTP for red grapes was negatively influenced by age and positively by health consciousness. Meanwhile, the WTP for pears was negatifvely influenced by age. The variables of education and income were not found to have a partially significant influence on the WTP for any of the three fruit types.

Abstract

Decision-making as an important process that influences consumer behavior must be understood by marketers. A purchase decision is a decision made by an individual to choose one of several available alternatives. This study aims to describe and analyze the influence of brand collaboration strategies, price, and lifestyle on the purchase decision of Oatside Series coffee at Tomoro Coffee in Semarang City. The research was conducted from April to June 2025 at five branches of Tomoro Coffee in Semarang City. The research method used a survey approach with a quantitative approach. The sample was determined using accidental sampling, conducted directly at the research location with 100 respondents. Data collection was conducted through interviews using a Google Form questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and quantitatively using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that the purchasing decision process involves the following stages: problem recognition, information search, alternative evaluation, purchasing decision, and post-purchase. The independent variables of brand collaboration strategy, price, and lifestyle simultaneously influence purchasing decisions. The variables of brand collaboration strategy and lifestyle significantly influence the purchase decision of Oatside Series coffee at Tomoro Coffee in Semarang City.
