Abstract

This study aims to evaluation the effect of Indigofera zollingeriana flour utilization inpoultry pellet ration on the content of the fiber fraction ,namely : Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF), Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF), Acid Detergent Lignin (ADL), hemicelluloses and cellulose. The experimental design used Completely Randomized Design(CRD),which consists of 4 treatments and 5 replicates. The treatments were the level of Indigofera zollingeriana flour utilization that were T0 = 0% Indigofera zollingeriana  (control),T1  =  5%  Indigofera  zollingeriana,  T2  =10%  Indigofera  zollingeriana,  T3  =  15%  Indigofera zollingeriana.  The  results showed that the Indigofera zollingeriana utilization had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the content of NDF, hemicellulose, cellulose but had  significantly effect (P<0.05) to the content of ADF and highly significant effect (P<0.01) on the content of ADL. It was concluded that the use of 15% Indigofera zollingerian alowered the content ADF and ADL, unable to reduce the content fNDF and unable to increase the content of hemicellulose and cellulose.The use of 15% Indigofera zollingeriana is t h e b e s t  30.39% NDF; 9.42% ADF; 2.25% ADL; 20.98% hemicellulose and 4.53% cellulose.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi campuran feses sapi dan feses kambing terhadap biomassa dan kualitas casting cacing tanah jenis Pheretima sp. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 2 bulan pada tanggal 01 Oktober sampai  30 November 2021 di Pekarangan  Perumahan Kelurahan Batu Urip dan Laboratorium Ilmu Tanah Universitas Bengkulu. Rancangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan yang dicobakan adalah P1 = 50% sekam padi + 50% feses (100% feses sapi), P2 = 50% sekam padi + 50% feses (50% feses sapi + 50% feses kambing), P3 = 50% sekam padi + 50% feses (25% feses sapi + 75% feses kambing) dan P4 = 50% sekam padi + 50% feses (100% feses kambing). Variabel yang diamati biomassa, kualitas kompos (warna, bau dan tekstur), dan kandungan hara rasio C/N. Data biomassa dianalisis dengan ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) dan kompos kualitas kompos (warna, bau dan tekstur), dan kandungan hara rasio C/N dianalisis secara deskritif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian campuran pada feses sapi dan feses kambing berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap biomassa, kualitas kompos casting dan rasio C/N kompos.Kata kunci : Pheretima sp, feses sapi, feses kambing dan sekam padi

Abstract

Duck eggs are a source of animal protein that has a delicious taste, easy to digest and highly nutritious so that it is loved by many people. In addition, eggs are easily damaged by the length of the trade chain and the improper storage process. The processed form of duck eggs, which until now is the best known and most favored by the people of Indonesia, is salted eggs. This study aimed to determine the effect of soaking salted eggs in bay leaf juice (Eugenia polyantha Wight.) at different concentration levels on the content of free fatty acids (FFA), total volatile bases (TVB) and antioxidants in smoked salted eggs. The experimental design used in this study was a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments with 4 replications. The treatments consisted of: P0= Duck eggs + 0% bay leaf juice, P1 = Duck eggs + 25% bay leaf juice, P2 = Duck eggs + 50% bay leaf juice, P3 = Duck eggs + 75% bay leaf juice, P4 = Duck eggs + 100% bay leaf juice. The results showed that the effect of using salted egg soaking in bay leaf juice (Eugenia polyantha Wight.) showed a very significant effect (P<0.01) on FFA, TVB and antioxidants. It was concluded that the addition of bay leaf juice with a concentration of 25 to 100% in smoked salted eggs was able to reduce the number of free fatty acids, reduce the content of total volatile bases (TVB) and increase antioxidant activity. The use of the best concentration of 100% bay leaf juice is the lowest FFA 0.10 (%), the lowest TVB 2.32 (mgN%) and the lowest antioxidant 88.59 (mg/g). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi kerbau rawa dengan menggunakan analisis LQ (Location Quotient) untuk mendukung pengembangan peternakan yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang digunakan data sekunder dimana untuk dapat mengidentifikasi daerah basis pengembangan dengan analisis LQ (Location Quotient). Data yang diperoleh ditabulasi dan ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabel serta gambar kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan untuk daerah basis pengembangan ternak kerbau ada di tiga Kecamatan yaitu Kecamatan Ulu Rawas, Kecamatan Rupit, dan Kecamatan Rawas Ulu. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi perbaikan untuk populasi ternak kerbau rawa serta melakukan introduksi sistem pengembangan kerbau rawa pada daerah basis dimana untuk mendukung peternakan yang berkelanjutan.
