Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran wanita dalam penyajian musik tradisional Genrang Sanro dalam ritual Mattuana Pattaungeng di Desa Padacengnga, Kabupaten Bone. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif dengan pelaku Genrang Sanro, tokoh adat, dan anggota masyarakat. Hasil menunjukkan wanita memainkan peran penting sebagai penyaji sekaligus pelaksana, yang memperkuat posisi sosial mereka. Partisipasi ini memiliki makna budaya dan spiritual yang dihargai komunitas. Namun, modernisasi mengancam keberlanjutan peran ini, sebab wanita saat ini enggan mengambil bagian dalam penyajan sebuah karya kesenian tradisi sebab tidak tertarik, kekhawatiran berativitas lama di bawah paparan matahari, serta beragam alasan lainnya. Oleh karena itu, dukungan berbagai pihak diperlukan untuk mempertahankan partisipasi wanita dalam seni tradisional ini. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan penting tentang kontribusi wanita dalam budaya tradisional dan implikasinya terhadap dinamika sosial di Desa Padacengnga, serta rekomendasi untuk kebijakan budaya dan program pemberdayaan wanita.

Abstract

This study's objective is to analyze the cultural values and uniqueness of the form and structure of this dance as a representation of the identity of the Mandar community in the field of education. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analytical research method. Data collection techniques include questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. We analyzed the data using qualitative analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that the Pattuqduq Kumba Dance contains religious values, as seen from its role in traditional rituals that symbolize gratitude to God and respect for ancestors. The value of togetherness is reflected in the simultaneous movements of the dancers, which strengthen the spirit of mutual cooperation and social relations. In addition, the educational value in this dance functions as a medium for cultural education for the younger generation, teaching the preservation of tradition and understanding the symbolism of movement. The beauty of this dance lies in the harmony between movement, traditional music, and typical costumes that reflect the refinement of the art of the Mandar community. The structure of the dance, which is divided into three parts—opening, content, and closing—as well as the use of traditional properties such as fans and scarves, adds to the uniqueness and richness of its meaning. This study confirms that the Pattuqduq Kumba Dance is not only a performing art but also a symbol of life, local wisdom, and the close relationship between humans and nature, and it acts as a medium of education. This dance is an important medium for preserving culture and a means of strengthening the identity of the Mandar people amidst the challenges of modernization and is the basis for strengthening the curriculum, especially arts education.

Abstract

This study intends to implement the illustrated book "The Story of the Origin of the Name Jeneponto" as a local content learning media in class VI public elementary school 4 Bangkala. This book has been designed using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. However, in the design process, it was only carried out up to the analysis, design, and development stages. The research method used is research and development with a quantitative-descriptive approach, involving questionnaires, interviews, and observation techniques. The results of the study show that this illustrated book is effective in increasing students' interest in learning about the local history of Jeneponto. The attractive visual appearance and stories that are relevant to local culture make this book easier to understand. As many as 75% of students feel more interested in learning history after using this book. In addition, teachers stated that this book creates a pleasant learning atmosphere and supports the preservation of local culture. This study provides an important contribution to the development of visual-based learning media, which is relevant to preserving local wisdom and strengthening cultural identity among the younger generation.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model penelitian 4D Thiagarajan yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu pendefinisian (Define), perancangan (Design), pengembangan (Develop) dan penyebaran (Disseminate). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui bagaimana Validitas media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan pada kegiatan berkarya seni lukis Mixmedia dengan media Limbah Plastik pada kelas XI di SMA Negeri 6 Bulukumba, (2) Mengetahui bagaimana Kepraktisan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan pada kegiatan berkarya seni lukis Mixmedia dengan media Limbah Plastik pada Kelas XI di SMA Negeri 6 Bulukumba, (3) Mengetahui bagaimana Keefektifan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan pada kegiatan berkarya seni lukis Mixmedia dengan media Limbah Plastik pada Kelas XI di SMA Negeri 6 Bulukumba. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan memperoleh (1) skor nilai validasi ahli materi sebesar 87, (2) Persentase nilai validasi ahli media sebesar 81 dan (3) skor nilai validasi pengguna sebesar 93. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa tingkat validitas media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid. Hasil uji respons peserta didik mendapatkan hasil (1) Uji Kepraktisan dengan skor 93 kriteria sangat praktis, dan (2) Uji keefektifan berkarya seni lukis mixmedia dengan skor 96 kriteria sangat efektif. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran berkarya seni lukis mixmedia dengan media limbah plastik berbasis presentasi ini sangat menarik untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstrak. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan dengan bermitra pada Kelompok Remaja Putri di Kelurahan Lalampanua, Majene – Sulawesi Barat. Permasalahan bagi kelompok tersebut diidentifikasi antara lain: (1) kurangnya pemahaman terhadap ranah pengetahuan tentang jenis dan bentuk-bentuk ornamen kearifan lokal, (2) kemampuan ranah keterampilan mitra dalam membuat desain ornamen Henna berkearifan lokal masih kurang, serta 3) kurangnya kemampuan dalam mengkreasi tata rias Henna yang berkearifan lokal. Fokus utama pelatihan adalah merias Henna dengan berornamen kearifan lokal. Metode dan materi pelaksanan oleh Tim untuk mentransfer ranah pengetahuan dan ranah keterampilan dilakukan dengan tahapan, yakni: (1) tahap pemahaman pengetahuan dilaksanaankan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab untuk pencerahan wawasan terhadap jenis dan bentuk ornamen Henna berkearifan lokal, (2) tahap penerapan keterampilan dilakukan dengan metode demonstrasi dengan berlatih kemampuan merancang dan pembuat desain berbagai jenis dan bentuk ornamen Henna berkearifan lokal; dan 3) tahap evaluasi dilakukan dengan metode mengapresiasi produk-produk hasil pelatihan baik pengembangan desain maupun hasil uji-coba penerapannya. Capaian hasil pelatihan, yaitu: (1) mitra memahami pengetahuan dan termotivasi untuk mengenal berbagai jenis dan bentuk ornamen kearifan lokal di daerahnya, (2) mitra memiliki dasar kemampuan keterampilan untuk mendesain dan membuat ragam jenis dan bentuk ornamen berkearifan lokal, dan (3) mitra memiliki keterampilan kemampuan awal merias Henna berornamen kearifan lokal.Kata kunci: remaja putri, merias, henna, ornamen, kearifan lokal

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melestarikan dan mengembangkan Tari Batara sebagai salah satu warisan budaya Sulawesi Selatan. Kegiatan ini berupa pelatihan Tari Batara bagi siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Kabupaten Takalar, Sulawesi Selatan. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan apresiasi siswa terhadap budaya lokal, serta mengembangkan kemampuan mereka dalam menari Tari Batara. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan adalah metode demonstrasi dan praktik langsung. Hasil yang diharapkan adalah siswa dapat menguasai gerakan Tari Batara dan menjadi duta pelestari budaya lokal di sekolah dan masyarakat.Kata kunci: Tari Batara, Pelatihan, Pelestarian Budaya, Siswa SMP

Abstract

This research aims to develop augmented reality (AR)-based learning media in the form of Student Worksheets (LKPD) in class IX animation design subjects at Telkom Makassar Middle School. This research uses R&D research with a 4D development model, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate to produce products that are valid, practical, and effective. The Define stage identifies student needs and challenges in learning animation design. The Design stage focuses on designing LKPD with the integration of AR technology with the hope of facilitating interactive learning and building students' learning independence. The Develop Phase conducts AR LKPD trials to ensure the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the product. The Disseminate stage involves distributing the product to teachers and students as well as holding an exhibition of work and evaluating its effectiveness. The research results show that the AR-based LKPD development is valid for use, verified through consultation with media experts and material experts with a total average score of 3.46. This product is also considered very practical because based on the responses of teachers and students, this media is able to facilitate the learning needs of students with various learning styles, increasing learning independence with an average score for teachers of 3.65 and students of 3.89. Effectiveness analysis shows a significant increase in students' understanding, enthusiasm and active involvement in the learning process after using this media. Overall research results show that augmented reality-based learning media in class IX animation design subjects at Telkom Makassar Middle School is very suitable for use, contributing to improving the quality of independent, creative and responsible learning. Keywords: learning media; augmented reality; animation; independent learning.
