Abstract

The development of internet brings great influence in business management, especially in supply chain. Transaction conducted through the internet in supply chain known e-fulfillment, is an integrated process from receiving customer order, managing transaction, warehousing, managing transportation, communicating, with customer using media of information technology. Online sales concept opens up the researchers to conduct research on online sales and offline sales simultaneously, known Dual Channel Supply Chain (DCSC). One category of products that are sold using this structure is fashion product. However, selling fashion product using DCSC structure it still has shortcomings and challenges. Due to customer can not make a selection, viewing and researching product and quality inspaction product dierctly. Based on this, some enterprises provide product warranty sales system offered. Warranty as a guarantee given to customer to provide security and comfort for making purchases. Warranty gives impact on price of product, both online and offline. This leads to the need to do a calculation the optimum price considering money back warranty. Optimum price obtained in the model demand function using quadratic programming adressing the objective function in the form profit maximum in individual channel (Pw, Ps dan Po) as well as whole profit in DCSC by considering the value of money back warranty (g). The result obatained is optimum price for two scenarios. There are optimum price in individual channel without money back warranty and optimum price in online channel with accomodate money back warranty. Keywords—dual channel supply chain (DCSC); money back warranty; optimization.

Abstract

Residential high-rises are unique properties that differ from landed properties such as bungalows or terrace houses. They are unique insofar as, after the properties have been occupied, facilities must be jointly managed by residents. The continuous growth of high-rise residential buildings specifies that there is a need for effective ownership and property management system to instill a valuable living experience among high-rise residents in this country. Looking at this scenario, this research takes an initiative to develop a mobile application that supports streamline information with assistive features to improve communication and information sharing for high-rise residential management in Malaysia. This aim is achieved by answering three research objectives, including identifying user requirements, designing the application prototype and developing the artefact and evaluating the artefact. The study was conducted together with LT Sdn Bhd, the property management company responsible in managing and maintaining property related matters of Seroja Apartment. An adopted conceptual framework for property management based on the sustainable indicator dimensions for property management and applicable features from existing mobile application to develop the artefact has been proposed. The conceptual framework was proposed based on literature review and nature of work observed on site. Lastly, the study successfully validated the proposed adopted framework against the artefact, the MyLT mobile application.

Abstract

UMKM Nek Wik is an UMKM that operates in the food sector, namely producing posot-posot which is a typical cracker from Bawean Island. In the production process, there is a process that is still done manually, namely the dough molding process, which takes a long time, making production slow and production targets and demand are sometimes not met, therefore it is necessary to procure a dough molding machine to speed up the production process and meet targets and consumer demands. With the addition of this dough molding machine, an investment feasibility analysis is needed to find out whether this dough molding machine is worth investing in or not. Based on the results of the analysis of the feasibility of investing in a dough molding machine at Nek Wik MSMEs, the following conclusion was obtained: from the calculation of the Net Present Value (NPV) a positive result of IDR was, which means NPV>0 so it is worth investing. From the results of the Internal Rate of Return calculation, a result of 43.45% was obtained, where this result was greater than the initial interest rate, namely 9.08%, so the investment was worth implementing. From the results of the Payback Period calculation, the investment value for the machine is 8.36 months or 251 days, meaning that because the payback period is less than the economic life of 5 years, the investment is feasible. From the results of the Profitability Index calculation, it is 1.43, which means the PI value is> 1, so the investment in purchasing a dough molding machine is feasible.

Abstract

PT. SJA is a food distributor company located at Jalan Kalianget No.50-52 Surabaya. The main distribution product is UBM biscuits located at Waru, Sidoarjo. The operational costs used in carrying out distribution using the initial route are IDR 25,008,650 for delivery every day. Based on the large costs, a complicated route plan will occur in order to find the minimum costs possible. In optimizing the distribution routes above in order to minimize shipping costs to PT. SJA, a saving matrix method is used. This method can determine product distribution routes to all product marketing areas by determining the route chosen and the capacity of the vehicle used so that the closest route and lowest transportation costs are obtained. Based on the results of the analysis of the research objectives carried out, it can be concluded that the proposed route obtained from processing using the saving matrix method produces differences in terms of costs and transport capacity in March 2024, the company before using this method required shipping costs of IDR 25,008,650 and after using the saving matrix method the company can save costs by 22.34%, namely Rp. 19,421,100

Abstract

PT Tamma Robah Indonesia is a company operating in the manufacturing industry which produces kebab tortilla shells, the types of products produced by PT Tamma Robah Indonesia are TB (Large Tortilla), TS (Medium Tortilla), TM (Mini Tortilla), TC (Tortilla Catering). This research method uses the line balancing method which aims to obtain a smooth production flow in order to obtain high utility for facilities, labor and working time as well as simulating the production flow process, distance and increasing production output using flaxim software development to maximize the implementation of relayout. . Based on the results of the analysis of the research objectives carried out, it can be concluded that the line balancing calculation of the 4 products produced by PT Tamma Robah Indonesia selected the lowest Tortila Catering process distance with a cycle time of 130 seconds. /pcs, with 3 work stations, efficiency and delay 23%. and there are several proposed layouts that can minimize material handling distances.

Abstract

PT. Berkah Industri Mesin Angkat (PT.BIMA) is a company engaged in the maintenance and supply of port equipment. In the service process there are five types of transport aircraft at PT BIMA. Loading and unloading equipment operates continuously, causing a decrease in the level of equipment reliability and causing frequent breakdowns and high downtime on the machines, especially the Headtruck equipment. To minimize breakdowns and downtime, it is necessary to have a good maintenance scheduling system to prevent machine damage. Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) is one of the company's provisions as a reference for determining an effective maintenance schedule. Therefore, appropriate corrective action is needed to ensure the number of spare parts available so that equipment downtime is not too long which results in decreased/unstable levels of availability and reliability.

Abstract

This study aims to reduce the defect rate in the production process of granule phosphate and potassium fertilizers at PT X, which includes undersize, oversize, and misshapen product defects. The PDCA method was employed as a quality improvement approach through the stages of Plan, Do, Check, and Action. Pareto Analysis, Histogram, and Fishbone Diagram were used to identify dominant defect types and determine their root causes, while corrective actions were focused on establishing new Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), providing operator training, and adding quality inspection checkpoints at each production stage. The results show a significant reduction in the average phosphate defect from 802 kg to 319 kg, successfully maintaining quality within control limits, and improved consistency in potassium fertilizer quality. This study recommends the implementation of continuous quality monitoring at every process stage to ensure high-quality products.

Abstract

PT ABC is a company operating in the manufacturing sector, specifically in the production of semi-finished processed wood, implementing a make-to-order production system. Currently, the company faces several challenges in warehouse management, where the storage area for finished goods is still mixed with raw materials and production areas. This situation is further exacerbated by the stacking arrangement of materials not meeting standards, resulting in inefficient use of space and difficulties in the retrieval process. This study aims to redesign the layout of PT ABC's warehouse using the Shared Storage Location method. This method is designed to allocate storage space flexibly to more effectively separate raw material and finished goods storage areas. The main focus of this design is to optimize storage capacity and minimize material handling distances. With the implementation of the new layout, it is expected that the company can reduce operational time.
