Abstract

Intranet is an internal media owned by PT. Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit II Dumai based online. Within the Intranet there is information and news about the company's policies and activities which in the process are carried out by Communications and Relations Section, Team Media Support exactly. News published is the result of coverage by Team Media Support. Thus this study aims to find out how Implementation of Jurnalistic Values in News Writing at Intranet as Internal Media PT. Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit II Dumai.This research uses descriptive method qualitative, data collecting technique using observation, in-depth interview and documentation. The informants were chosen by purposive sampling by selecting informants based on certain characteristics, the informant consisted of Head of Communication and Relations, Junior Officer Communication and Relations, Personnel of Team Media Support, and three employees as news reading on Intranet. Data analysis technique using data analysis by Miles and Huberman models.The results of this study show that : 1). Team Media Support has implemented reports/ direct observations in the coverage, but not all coverage is accompanied by interviews and there is also no literature research. 2). For news writing, Team Media Support has not fully understood how to writing a news with news values. 3). For news editing techniques that have been done by the right people and competent, but the efficiency time of editing is still not right because only the Head of Communications and Relationship can does, so that there are some news that has been written can not be published on the same day. 4). The main constraining factor in the implementation is the lack of competent human resources in the field of journalism, while the supporting factor is the Intranet has played an appropriate role as the company's internal media, because with the Intranet dissemination of information more effective and environmentally friendly.Keywords: Journalistic, News Writing, Internal Media, Intranet

Abstract

Instagram @infopku_ is one of social media account which often sharing information about Pekanbaru or Riau, including information about forest fire in 2016 and make Indonesia increasingly synonymous with smoke disaster. Instagram @infopku_ share it through photos along with caption which was uploaded. Photo is one of the nonverbal communication media, it is important to examine the meaning of it. In this research, the writer wanted to see the message of @infopku_ photos.The method used qualitatively with Roland Barthes semiotic analysis which is part of the data analysis method in representative qualitative research. The data used was taken from Instagram and some references from internet. After collecting the data, it was analyzed to get the results.The findings of denotation meaning research showed events were happening directly.The connotation meaning explained that forest preservation is human responsibility.The mytical meaning of the five photographs generally contained of facts about the phenomenon that happened could be a warning to be more vigilant in dealing with it. Through the five photos was delivered to the whole Riau society especially to care about the condition of the forest whch is rich of benefits.

Abstract

The phenomenon of hoax news is increasingly troubling the public, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic in early 2020. As a new term, of course, many people are looking for information about Covid-19. This is what is used by irresponsible parties to spread hoaxes related to Covid-19. WhatsApp is the social media with the longest total duration used and also the social media that is considered the most worrying related to the spread of the Covid-19 hoax. This study aims to find out how the perception of Riau University Communication Science students regarding the Covid-19 vaccine hoax news on WhatsApp social media, what are the factors that affect perception, and how students' knowledge and understanding of hoax news. This research uses descriptive analysis with qualitative research types. Data collection uses observation, interview and documentation methods. The research subject focused on students majoring in Communication Sciences, Riau University class of 2021 who had received digital literacy classes. The key informants numbered 5 people, with the method of selecting informants using purpossive sampling. The data collection technique uses a fixed comparison analysis technique, while the data validity check uses the triangulation method. The results showed that the perception of Riau University Communication Science students class of 2021 regarding the Covid-19 vaccine hoax news was that most informants perceived that this phenomenon was disappointing and troubling because there are still many people who cannot distinguish which news is true and which is a hoax. All informants can recognize that the information they get is a hoax and do not believe the information. The factors affecting perception are divided into two, namely the experience factor and the perceived object. Students' knowledge and understanding can be concluded that students can describe the definition of hoax correctly, the characteristics of hoaxes, and how to overcome the phenomenon of the rise of hoaxes. The students considered that the rise of hoaxes in Indonesia could not be separated from the problem of low public literacy and lack of education about the hoax itself. Abstract

Bahwa media sosial telah digunakan untuk tujuan politik. Sifatnya yang mudah diakses, memberikan kesempatan kepada semua lawan politik untuk memanfaatkan dan menggunakan untuk mereka memiliki agenda politik sendiri, Persoalan yang muncul adalah pesan politik yang diarahkan kepada lawan politik dalam bentuk berita bohong. Upaya-upaya jahat ini seperti sukar untuk dihindari diera virtual, karena masing–masing tim sedapat mungkin menggunakan segala cara untuk mematahkan perjuangan lawannya. yang dimungkinkan dengan menggunakan teknik pengaturan agenda. di beberapa media sosial yang ada, para konstituen “menyerang” calon pemilihnya melalui beberapa aplikasi media sosial yang ada seperti Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram dan Line. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalahUntuk melihat bagaimana perencanaan pesan politik di Media Sosial dalam Kampanye Pemenangan Pasangan Paisal-Amris pada Pemilihan Walikota dan Wakil Wali Kota Dumai Tahun 2020 Pesan pesan politik yang dibuat dalam aplikasi media sosial tersebut mulai dari bentuk pesan text, pesan gambar juga pesan audiovideo. Metodologi dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif Pada pendekatan ini, peneliti membuat suatu gambaran kompleks, meneliti kata-kata, laporan terinci dari pandangan responden, Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil tentang pengelolaan pesan politik dimedia sosial dalam kampaye pemenangan pasangan paisal –amris pada pemilihan wali kota dan wakil wali kota dumai dengan Pesan politik dimedia sosial untuk Pengelolaan Kampanye Virtual Oleh Pasangan Paisal – Amris Di Media Sosial Pada Pemenangan Wali Kota dan Wakil Walikota Dumai Tahun 2020 yaitu dengan pengoptimalan upaya – upaya pendekatan komunikasi secara virtual, karena penyebaran berita palsu atau berita bohong untuk pesaing politik lainnya sering terjadi. Publik diprovokasi sedemikian rupa, sehingga simpati terhadap dukungannya beralih kepasangan yang lainnya.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Communication is a message conveyed to the communicant (recipient) from the communicator (source) through certain channels. The Twitter account @txtdrgovernment is a parody account whose content consists of uploading ridiculous quotes from public officials in Indonesia on certain issues that are of public concern. The purpose of this research is to find out the macrostructure, superstructure, and microstructure of Political Satire about cyber attacks on government websites on the Twitter account @txtdrgovernment. This study used a qualitative research method with an approach using the van Dijk model of critical discourse analysis. Data collection techniques consist of interviews, observation, and documentation. While the data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis according to Miles and Huberman. To check the validity of the data using the extension of participation. The results of this study indicate that the @txtdrgovernment account has a macro-structure of political satire about cyber attacks on government websites about the theme of criticism and protests launched after the Bjorka case went viral. Super structure of political satire about cyber attacks on government websites by drafting a tweet starting with a screenshot of mass media coverage in relation to the developments in the Bjorka case and the government's public response. The micro-structure of political satire on cyber attacks on government websites in the @txtdrgovernment Twitter account is divided into: a) Semantics, using comedy satire which is the pattern of communication from the @txtdrgovernment account; b) Syntax, using sentences or words that are not commonly used by the public; c) Stylistic, with the choice of the word "later you will be jailed" describes that in Indonesia there is no longer freedom of expression even though this country upholds freedom of human rights in a democratic state; d) Rhetoric, by responding to the statement of the Minister of Communication and Information which seemed hands off. Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 telah memberikan dampak pada perubahan yang besar-besaran di berbagai aspek kehidupan. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana penerapan komunikasi krisis oleh Pemerintah Kota Pekanbaru dalam pengendalian penyebaran dampak pandemi Covid 19. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah komunikasi pemerintah kota Pekanbaru dalam menanggulangi penyebaran Covid-19 dapat ditinjau beberapa aspek diantaranya dari komunikator, pesan, media, komunikan, dan efek. Komunikasi dilakukan pemerintah kota melalui penyampaian informasi oleh Dinas Kominfo. Sedangkan faktor yang menghambat komunikasi pemerintah kota pekanbaru dalam menangani penyebaran Covid-19 adalah penyebaran informasi hoax yang tingkat kebenarannya masih diragukan, serta penyaluran bantuan sosial dari pemerintah provinsi yang bermasalah karena pelaksanaan juknis oleh pemerintah daerah yang tidak sesuai.

Abstract

Komunikasi politik adalah studi tentang bagaimana menciptakan, menyebarkan, dan mempengaruhi opini publik. Strategi komunikasi adalah salah satu cara untuk mengatur pelaksanaan sebuah proses komunikasi, mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan hingga evaluasiuntuk mencapai suatu tujuan. Peneliti memakai pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode diskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah informan. Pemilihan sampel dengan metode purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Objek penelitian adalah komunikasi politik PKS. Teknik analisa data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi. Perencanaan strategi komunikasi politik PKS dilakukan dengan mengenal calon pemilih potensial menyusun pesan kepada calon pemilih PKS, merancang isu sesuai profil calon pemilih PKS, menetapkan metode penyampaian pesan, mengidentifikasi saluran media komunikasi yang ada untuk memilih media yang paling tepat dan relevan, dan melakukan pertemuan langsung dengan calon pemilih. Pelaksanaan strategi komunikasi politik PKS Pekanbaru yaitu dengan melaksanakan program “gemar silaturahim tokoh/tetangga/kerabat” yang disingkat dengan GESIT; juga dengan awareness, interest, desire, action, dan satisfaction

Abstract

Local leader election is a political recruitment, that is the selection of people to nominate themselves as regional head either governor or deputy governor, vice regent or deputy regent and vice mayor or deputy mayor. The background of this issue that aimed at finding out how big influence of political advertising billboards and the impression of political advertising to young voters at Taruna Satria Vocational High school Pekanbaru in local leader election Pekanbaru 2017.In This research, the researcher used quantitative research, with correlation analysis and multiple linear regression. The variables in this study are (X1), political advertising billboards, (X2) political ad imperssions, and young voters (Y). The population of this research was all of the teenth grade students. The total number was 200 students , by taking samples of 90 students and the writer used random sampling technique. The method of data collection was done by distributing questionnaires which was filled by students of Taruna Satria Vocational High School Pekanbaru. To analyze the data, the writer used correlation product moment (PPM) by using software SPSS 16.After analyzing the data, the writer found that partially political advertising billboard not affect to young voters. While the impressions of political advertising had a positive effect on young voters. Simultaneosly political advertising billboards and the impression of political advertising positively afftects to young voters at Taruna Satria Vocational High School Pekanbaru with percentage of 54%, meanwhile the remaining 46% was influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan Untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan Evaluasi komisioner komisi informasi Provinsi Riau dalam menyelesaikan sengketa informasi dan untuk mendeskripsikan model komunikasi yang digunakan komisioner komisi informasi provinsi riau dalam menyelesaikan sengketa informasi publik. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan pada Perencanaan Strategi Komisioner: melakukan Sosialisasi UU keterbukaan informasi kepada Masyarakat, Mempelajari Bahan sengketa. Pelaksanaan Strategi ada 4 hal: Pendaftaran, Pemeriksaan awal (Legal standing pemohon, termohon, waktu pelaksanaan dan kewenangan KI Provinsi Riau), Mediasi dan Ajudikasi Non Litigasi. Evaluasi Strategi: sosialisasi dan memeriksa PPID setiap Badan Publik dan agenda tahunan KI Award. Model Komunikasi Komisioner dalam menyelesaikan Sengketa Informasi menggunakan Teori Komunikasi Sirkuler Osgood dan Schramm saat mediasi atau Ajudikasi Non litigasi.
