Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sumber informasi pemilu dan perilaku pencarian informasi pemilu serentak tahun 2019 di kalangan pemilih pemula di Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan menyebarkan angket kepada responden penelitian sebanyak 377 orang. Analisis data menggunakan nilai skor rata-rata yang dihitung dengan menggunakan SPSS 2.5. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa pemilih pemula di Kota Pekanbaru mayoritas (66,8 persen) mengakses informasi pemilu melalui media sosial. Informasi yang paling banyak diakases adalah berita yang berkaitan dengan calon presiden dan wakil presiden. Perilaku pencarian informasi pemilih pemula di Kota pekanbaru mencakup tahapan starting, chaining, browsing, differentiating, monitoring, extracting, verifying, dan ending.

Abstract

The level of public trust in the political elite is decreasing day by day, so that only a few politicians are able to maintain their image in society, the Regent of Pelalawan H Zukri being one of them. H Zukri's success in the 2009, 2014 and 2019 legislative elections, and continued with his victory in the 2020 Pelalawan Regional Election is an indicator that H Zukri is a figure who truly protects society, including the poor. This of course cannot be separated from H Zukri's personal branding, as a politician who is able to be a beacon of hope for poor people. This research uses a qualitative approach using the concept of personal branding by Montoya & Vandehey. Before becoming a politician, H Zukri was known as a humanist and often paid attention to the poor, and he gave this attention consistently according to his authority, whether direct or policy. It is hoped that this research will provide inspiration and benefits for politicians who want to shape their image and also the results of this research can help H Zukri to evaluate the process of forming his image. Abstract

KPI adalah lembaga negara yang independent tentang Penyiaran. KPI terdiri atas KPI Pusat dibentuk di tingkat pusat dan KPI Daerah dibentuk di tingkat provinsi. Dalam menjalankan fungsi, tugas, wewenang, dan kewajibannya, KPI Pusat diawasi oleh Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR), dan KPI Daerah diawasi oleh DPRD.metode peneletian yan di gunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan hasil penelitian Dalam penerapan peraturan ini, KPID Riau memang memberikan stimulan seperti penghargaan kepada lembaga penyiaran yang memang menayangakan konten lokal dengan kualitas yang baik, serta durasi yang sesuai dengan tujuan dari tayangan konten lokal adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan mewujudkan rasa kebanggaan serta pengetahuan terhadap daerahnya.

Abstract

Adanya media sosial dapat memberikan manfaatbagi kesejahteraan masyarakat. Seluruh lapisanmasyarakat dapat mengakses media sosial untukmengekspresikan diri, salah satunya denganberpendapat dalam bentuk kritik terhadappemerintah. kritik sosial merupakan salah satu halyang dengan mudahnya dapat menarik aspirasimasyarakat tentang sebuah konflik yang dianggappatut untuk diperhatikan. Dalam hal ini, perkembangan media sosial menjadi salah satuwadah dalam menyampaikan aspirasi tersebut, salah satunya akun instagram @najwashihab.Dengan menggunakan Critical Discourse Analysis (Analisis wacana kritis) model Teun A Vandijk mendapatkan hasil bahwa akun instagram @najwashihab memiliki tema umum bahasan mengenai pesan komunikasi “Isu Sosial “ isu sosial memiliki beberapa poin penting yaitu kemiskinan, kenakalan Remaja , lingkungan hidup, SARA, Kriminalitas, Aksi protes HAM dan sosial , berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan ditemukan bahwa postingan viral Isu Sosial di akun instagram @najwashihab merujuk kepada poin SARA , Kemiskinan, Aksi protes HAM dan Sosial. hal menarik lain yang peneliti tenukan adalah besarnya power akun instagram yang dimiliki @najwashihab.

Abstract

The political communication carried out by the Alfedri-Husni (SAH) pair in winning the election for Regent and Deputy Regent of Siak Regency can be interpreted as successful. Because this pair was able to defeat their political opponents in the 2020 Siak Regency Regional Head Election (Pilkada), by gaining more than 60 percent of the votes outside the target. In the 2020 regional head elections, there were restrictions on campaign activities due to the Covid-19 outbreak which hit the entire country, thus hampering the political campaign activities of each pair of regional head candidates. A grand campaign is one of the events that cannot be carried out during regional head elections, but this does not make the Alfedri-Husni pair and their team silent, this pair carries out structured political communication.The purpose of this research is to determine the Political Marketing and Political Communication Model used by the Alfedri-Husni (SAH) couple in winning the election for Regent and Deputy Regent of Siak Regency. The research is descriptive qualitative research, and these findings are based on the concept of political marketing with the application of 4 (four) marketing mixes, namely product, promotion, price, placement. With direct interview sources, informants, namely the elected Regent Alfedri and Siak Regency Political Figures. The results of this research show that the political communication model of the Alfedri-Husni (SAH) pair includes Who, Says What, In Which Chanel, To Whom, With what effect, 1. using Siak district political figures as communicators 2. political messages conveyed by "SAH" and “For a More Advanced Siak”. Then 3. using limited face-to-face media, using social media, online media to convey political messages 4. political targets at all levels of Siak district society who have voting rights and young generation of first-time voters 5. The political communication effect of the Alfedri-Husni (SAH) pair is won the regional head election of Siak district

Abstract

Leadership is a decisive factor in the success or failure of an agency or company he leads. Successful leadership of an agency or government depends on the quality of leadership. Head of village simandolak carry out the mandate of the community to lead and build simandolak village, infrastructure development that has been implemented in the development program year 2013-2018 as a benchmark of its success in building simandolak village benai district kuantan singingi regency. Starting from the construction of concrete rebound roads, farm roads, construction of soccer stadiums, wi-fi networks in the office of the village head simandolak, which serves to facilitate the community in various functions of each development. This study aims to determine: (1) how the leadership of the village head simandolak village Benai district kuantan singingi regency in 2013-2018. (2) how the development communication done by the head of the village simandolak benai district kuantan singingi regency in 2013- 2018 This research uses descriptive qualitative method, with informant selection using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques use observation, interview and documentation. The theory that is in use of innovation diffusion from Evereet Rogers. For verification of data use triangulation technique and extension of participation. The results of this study indicate that communication leadership of the Village Head in the village development simandolak running well. Head or village apparatus conveys instructions and information easily understood by the village community simultaneously. In communications the leadership of the village head with the tool, and the villagers are effective, so they can persuade the community in the development program, and may generate new ideas / ideas as the village development program at simandolak Benai districts of Kuantan Singingi Regency in 2013-2018 Keywords: Communication Leadership, Communication Development.

Abstract

The police can be defined as a civilian public which regulate rules and laws. Police in Indonesia recorded which have many kinds of development from the beginning of independence until today. But in real, society actually asses Police always do slow actions. Furthermore, some cases related to motorcycle crime in different areas that disturb the society. Polri certainly realized that the importance of improve their ability to persuade society, one of them through 86 program on Net. This research aims to determine the meaning of denotation, connotation, and myths on reality show 86 program, knowing representation of police to persuade society which is presented on reality show 86 program.This research uses qualitative research with approach of Roland Barthes semiotics analysis. The Subject in this research is scene on Reality show 86 program of NET production which cooperates with the Indonesian National Police. The data collection techniques through documentation and literature study. To achieve validity of data in this research, researcher uses triangulation technique.The results of this research showed that there are three corresponding meanings in Roland Barthes semiotics. The meaning of denotation on reality show 86 NET such as police behaviors on their duties in the society environment to eradicating motorcycle crime. The meaning of connotations on reality show programs in the form of actions conducted by the police to persuade society in facing many kind of problems that caused by motorcycle crime. The meaning of the myths on reality show program after it was published through a review of literature about police persuade society is Police are able to provide security, protection to society and unlike imagined that police only exist when criminality appear such as motorcycle crime and do not prevent criminality early. The Representation of police to persuade society on reality show 86 program, police protects and helps  society, how police make people be safe and secure which include do the best to society and also keeping in mind the prevailing values and norms. Keyword: Representation, Reality Show,Semiotic, Police, Persuade Society.

Abstract

This study is based on the issue of dynasty politics that emerged when President Joko Widodo was in power, with Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Jokowi's son, elected as Mayor of Solo in 2020, triggering speculation of dynasty politics and a possible candidacy as Vice President in 2024. This study aims to analyze two online media, tempo.co and tvonenews.com, in framing news before presenting it to the public and finding commodification in reporting on Jokowi's dynasty politics in the 2024 Presidential Election. The qualitative research method with data analysis techniques uses the Robert Mathew Entman framing model and Vincent Mosco's Commodification. The results of the research analysis found that the framing and commodification of online media, tempo.co and tvonenews.com, differ significantly in packaging and reporting news about Jokowi's dynasty politics in the 2024 Presidential Election. Tempo.co's framing focuses more on the social and ethical impacts of dynasty politics, with an emphasis on criticism of nepotism and the negative impacts that may arise for society in a democratic country. On the other hand, tvonenews.com framing focuses more on practical political aspects, including Gibran's candidacy steps and gives the impression that the issue of dynasty politics is commonplace and does not need to be a problem. Tempo.co's commodification focuses more on the quality of content and in-depth and critical analysis. While tvonenews.com's commodification focuses more on fast and sensational news to attract instant attention.

Abstract

Elfenni Erdianta Bangun mencalonkan diri sebagai anggota Dewan Perwakilan Daerah Republik Indonesia (DPD RI) dari Daerah Pemilihan Provinsi Riau pada Pemilihan Umum 2024. Meskipun memperoleh 64.695 suara dan berada pada peringkat ke-18 dari 29 calon, tidak satu pun calon DPD RI non-Muslim di daerah pemilihan tersebut berhasil terpilih, yang menunjukkan masih terbatasnya inklusivitas representasi politik di tingkat regional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi politik yang diterapkan oleh Elfenni Erdianta Bangun serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam konteks kontestasi elektoral yang ditandai oleh preferensi identitas dan segmentasi pemilih. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana pesan politik dirumuskan, disampaikan, dan dimaknai oleh konstituen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketidaksinkronan antara pesan politik yang dirancang dan interpretasi konstituen menjadi kendala utama, yang berdampak pada rendahnya efektivitas penyampaian visi dan misi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa keberhasilan komunikasi politik tidak hanya ditentukan oleh intensitas kampanye, tetapi juga oleh kemampuan aktor politik dalam menyesuaikan pesan dengan konteks sosial, kultural, dan identitas pemilih.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out in Merangkai Village, Dayun District, Siak Regency with the aim of increasing community understanding and involvement in the process of drafting Village Regulations. Village Regulations are an important instrument for democratic, transparent, and accountable village governance. The activity implementation method was carried out through socialization, training, and direct mentoring for village officials, the Village Consultative Body (BAPEKAM), and community representatives. The results of the activity showed an increase in community knowledge regarding the function and urgency of village regulations, as well as a growing awareness to actively participate in public deliberation and consultation forums. However, ongoing efforts are still needed to strengthen community capacity, expand socialization, and ensure the involvement of all elements of society in a more inclusive manner. This service activity is expected to be the first step in encouraging more optimal community participation in participatory regulation-based village development.
