Abstract

This study aims to design an environmentally friendly biomass stove and make an environmentally friendly biomass stove. To calculate the cooking time using a biomass stove and to compare the time required on a biomass stove with a gas stove. The benefits for researchers are that they can make stoves that are competitive with gas or electric fuel stoves so that they become an alternative for the community and make biomass stoves one of the MSME products in the region. The type of research used in this study uses a qualitative research method with interview techniques. Informants or respondents in this study are housewives. The mothers were chosen because they were considered more experienced in cooking using the stove. From the research conducted, it is concluded that the results of the design of the biomass stove as an environmentally friendly stove, this biomass stove is able to reduce the carbon footprint because it produces fewer carbon emissions compared to fossil fuels. Reducing the amount of methane in the atmosphere because by using biomass, the amount of methane in the atmosphere can be reduced. Biomass stoves are stoves that are capable of making recycled fuel. This is a huge advantage as it means that no industrial output is wasted. All waste products from industry can be used to produce biomass energy.

Abstract

Measurement of workload is one of the factors needed by the company. Because by measuring the workload, the company can find out the allowable workload so that it can facilitate the effectiveness of workers and companies. One of the methods used to determine workload is by conducting a SWAT analysis. This analysis was carried out at PT Dipayana Okta Abadi which is an industry engaged in mining or quarrying C. This analysis was carried out by taking questionnaire data, and measuring by collecting data from SWAT card sequences on fifteen production workers, data analysis by processing the SWAT card sequencing results into the DOSBox program and then converting the computer results to the work performed, and drawing conclusions by converting the SWAT Rescaled values ??to the work. The final result of this analysis provides an overview of the workload felt by production workers. The results of the SWAT method show that the Time dimension is 60.86%, while the Effort load is 28.14% and the Stress load is 10.99%. It can be concluded that the time factor is very influential on the state of mental workload, it can be seen from the results of data processing that it is found that the time factor has the highest percentage, namely 60.86%.

Abstract

AET Travel is one of the umrah travel agency companies that popularized direct umrah flights in Sumatra. AET Travel PT. The direction of Country Tourism is having customer order data storage using excel and only having the AET Travel system marketing via the web and there is no system for ordering tour packages or Umrah which is provided through the online system. In order to develop and continue to survive, a business entity must be supported by quality service and marketing techniques that are able to compete by utilizing networks, namely marketing via the internet. The purpose of this research is to make AET Travel PT. Across Country Tourism it is easier to manage data using a website that can be accessed easily. The research method used is the Waterfall method. And the design of this system uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The programming language used is PHP with Laravel Framework and MySQL database. So that in this study the Website-Based E-Traveling System at AET Travel PT. Corner Tourism Country to be more efficient.

Abstract

The development of technology and mobility has encouraged humans to innovate and create environmentally friendly means of transportation and can reduce dependence on fuel oil which will eventually run out. Currently, transportation equipment using electrical energy is starting to appear as an alternative energy source, including electric bicycles. In this research, electric bicycles were produced equipped with generators and rectifiers to produce additional electrical energy. The generators utilizes the rotation of the front wheels to produce electrical energy which is then channeled through the rectifier and stored in the battery. This research aims to determine the benefits of using generators and rectifiers as additional charging systems for BLDC-based electric bicycles by conducting direct road test of electric bicycles. The result show that the use of a generator and rectifier can increase the distance traveled by up to 2 km. An electric bicycle with a capacity of 24V x 14 Ah can over a distance of 13 km without a generator and 15 km with a generator.

Abstract

Air Terjun Aek Sijorni merupakan salah satu tempat wisata populer di daerah Tapanuli Selatan dan sekitarnya yang memiliki potensi wisata lingkungan yang sangat baik, akan tetapi kondisi jalan yang masih kurang bagus, publisitas belum maksimal dan belum banyak diketahui oleh wisatawan mancanegara mengakibatkan potensi-potensi yang dimiliki objek wisata tidak dapat berkembang secara optimal. Kondisi seperti ini penting untuk dilakukan tindak lanjut supaya dapat berkembang secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui faktor eksternal dan internal yang mempengaruhi perkembangan wisata air terjun Aek Sijorni untuk menentukan alternatif strategi yang tepat dalam melakukan pengembangan wisata air terjun Aek Sijorni dengan metode analisis SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities dan Threats) dan QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) yang digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner yang diisi para responden terdapat delapan strategi dan tiga strategi alternatif yang dapat digunakan sebagai pertimbangan pengelola dalam melakukan pengembangan wisata air terjun Aek Sijorni yaitu yang pertama memperbaiki jalan menuju tempat wisata air terjun, yang kedua menjaga serta memelihara kelestarian wisata air terjun Aek Sijorni dan yang ketiga membuat sosial media wisata air terjun Aek Sijorni sebagai sarana informasi dan promosi.

Abstract

The rapid change in information technology has transformed our way of doing activities, especially in the business and e-commerce sectors. E-commerce, the activity of buying, selling, and marketing goods and services through electronic systems, plays a significant role. One of the products sold in e-commerce is perfume, a fragrant liquid that boosts confidence and leaves a certain impression. Currently, the sales process in some stores in Bangkinang is still manual, where consumers have to visit the stores directly to make purchases or simply to view the available products, and there is a lack of detailed information about the perfumes. Difficulty in reaching consumers and challenges for consumers to determine the desired price due to various variations such as brands and qualities. The aim of this research is to design and develop a web-based perfume buying and selling information system using PHP with the CodeIgniter framework to help consumers easily find perfumes and facilitate online transactions. The method applied in developing the system is the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) model with a waterfall approach. The result of this research is an information system for buying and selling perfumes made using the PHP programming language and the CodeIgniter Framework. This system is designed using UML (Unified Modeling Language), and Usability Testing and Blackbox Testing as system testing methods.

Abstract

Hazards in the workplace are sources that have the potential to cause work accidents that can harm workers, therefore it is important to carry out a hazard risk assessment as an effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of hazards in the workplace to protect workers. The purpose of this study is to asses the risk of hazards of Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) process for pipes in a manufacturing company through identification of potential hazards, risks analysis and evaluation to determine control measures. Hazards identification in the PWHT work revealed there are 34 hazards that have the potential to cause work accidents. Hazard risk analysis using Fine-Kinney method shows the hazard risk levels in the PWHT work is from low to high, with a low level risk percentage of 23.5%, a possible risk level of 20.6%, a substantial risk level of 47.1% and a high risk level of 8.8%. The proposed control measures for eliminating or reducing the risk of hazard in each task is carried out by hierarchy of controls through the elimination, substitution, engineering controls, administrative controls and personal protective equipment.

Abstract

Students are one of the factors that become a social vehicle for the development of the younger generation in society. This is because in college students get a lot of experience and knowledge that can be applied in society. Students can also be considered as a social platform for the development of young people who grow and develop on the basis of social awareness and responsibility from, by and for the community, especially the younger generation in the territory of an area or traditional community on an equal footing and develop in the field of social welfare business and other related fields. oriented towards improving social welfare. As stated in the definition, students are expected to be able to overcome various social welfare problems faced by the younger generation and be able to develop the potential of the younger generation in their environment and will have a positive impact on society. There are many activities that can be carried out that involve students in society related to social, spiritual, and sports. However, there are still not many activities that can hone skills and can increase motivation to become a creative generation and work independently. Therefore, researchers took the initiative to conduct 3D printing training for students to improve their skills and productivity in producing works that are economically valuable.

Abstract

Cabinet-type dryers powered by Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) are widely recognized as an efficient drying solution, particularly for small and medium-sized industries. However, the structural strength and durability aspects of these dryers often receive insufficient attention, although they operate under a combination of static and thermal loads that may potentially trigger structural failure. This study aims to evaluate the structural strength of a cabinet-type LPG dryer using the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) method by considering variations in operating temperature and constant mechanical loading. Simulations were conducted within an operating temperature range of 48.049°C to 75.767°C under a constant load of 40 kg. The key parameters analyzed include total deformation, stress distribution, and structural safety factor. The results revealed a maximum deformation of 1.094 mm and a peak stress of 1030.7 MPa concentrated in the plenum chamber area, identified as a critical zone due to the combined effects of thermal and mechanical loading. The maximum safety factor reached 15, while the minimum value of 0.24255 indicates the need for localized design improvements in certain regions. These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of FEA in predicting the structural response of drying equipment and provide a scientific foundation for enhancing structural safety and reliability. Further studies are recommended to integrate coupled thermal-structural analysis and experimental validation to improve the accuracy of the results. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to design and build a website information system for managing incoming and outgoing mail according to current procedures at the Kampar Regent's Office. The system was developed equipped with a unidirectional disposition feature and notification facilities via telegram messages accompanied by a more flexible data format, this system is also equipped with an archive feature that allows the letter search process to be faster when needed, so that the management of letters at the Kampar Regent's Office is more secure, efficient and accurate. The information system discussed in this study is based on a website, this system will be called RACOS (RAPID CORRESPONDECE SYSTEM).The RACOS system was built using the PHP programming language, Laravel Framework and MySQL. For this study, UML (Unified Modeling Leanguage) was used to design applications and the Spiral method in system development.
