Abstract

Economic demands often force husbands to migrate for work, leaving wives with the dual responsibility of managing the household and ensuring their children's education. This situation significantly affects the continuity and stability of children's learning development. This study aims to analyze the role of migrant workers' wives in supporting the continuity of children's education and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in Pohgading Timur Village, Pringgabaya District, East Lombok Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with migrant workers' wives and children as subjects, while the informants include teachers and village secretaries. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using an interactive analysis model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that migrant workers' wives play a role as caregivers, family financial managers, and educational motivators in supporting the continuity of children's education. Supporting factors include parental guidance and a positive environment, while inhibiting factors include family financial pressure and limited parental time to accompany children's education. The results of the study can be concluded that migrant workers' wives have a very important role in maintaining the continuity of children's education through care, financial management, and motivation. Therefore, cooperation between families, schools, and communities is needed to support the continuity of children's education.

Abstract

This research departs from the growing urgency of the high consumption of foreign animated films among Generation Alpha in Mataram City, which may weaken national identity and character. The selection of Mataram City as the research site is grounded in its role as a heterogeneous social laboratory; it serves as a strategic case study to examine the tension between deeply rooted local traditions and the pervasive influence of global digital media. This study aims to explore how foreign animation shapes children's perceptions and to gain a profound understanding of potential shifts in national integration values in their everyday lived experiences. The primary subjects are Generation Alpha children (aged 4–12 years), purposively selected to provide deep insights, with parents and teachers serving as secondary informants for data triangulation. The specific object of the study is the phenomenon of identity construction and the potential erosion of national character resulting from prolonged media exposure. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that intensive daily exposure to foreign animation leads to the internalisation of global values, manifested in the imitation of foreign accents and a shift toward individualistic behaviour, thereby challenging traditional social cohesion. Conversely, local animations such as Nussa & Rara are found to reinforce religiosity, cooperation, and manners. These results underline that without media literacy and support for local content, foreign animation poses a challenge to national identity. Systematic synergy between schools, families, and the government can transform animation into a strategic tool for strengthening character education and national integration.

Abstract

Child sexual abuse is a serious problem that requires comprehensive and collaborative handling. This study aims to analyze the strategies of the Mataram City Child Protection Agency (LPA) in handling sexual abuse cases and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation with LPA administrators, case counselors, and related parties. The results indicate that LPA strategies include legal and psychological assistance for victims, cross-sectoral coordination with the police, UPTD PPA, health workers, and educational institutions, as well as preventive efforts through community outreach and education. Supporting factors include inter-institutional cooperation and the commitment of counselors, while inhibiting factors include limited resources, low public awareness, and victim trauma. This study concludes that LPA plays a strategic role, but requires capacity building and ongoing support for optimal handling.

Abstract

This research was conducted due to the curriculum change and the demands placed on schools as the implementing institutions. The study aims to describe the impact of the Merdeka Curriculum on Pancasila Education learning and student outcomes at SMA Negeri 10 Mataram. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum has brought positive changes in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning. Planning was carried out systematically through training, mentoring, and the preparation of teaching modules that integrate Pancasila values. Implementation provided teachers with space to innovate using varied methods, while evaluation was not only oriented toward final results but also included diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments that measured students’ knowledge, attitudes, and skills. Nevertheless, the implementation faced internal challenges such as teachers’ adaptation to new methods and students’ readiness, as well as external challenges including frequently changing policies, limited facilities, and minimal access to learning resources. To overcome these obstacles, the school focused on improving teacher competence through continuous training, workshops, mentoring, and supervision, while also encouraging learning innovations such as project-based methods, interactive discussions, real-case simulations, personal approaches, and the provision of motivation and rewards. Through this combination of strategies, Pancasila Education learning is expected to become more contextual, relevant, enjoyable, and meaningful, enabling students to more easily internalize Pancasila values, although full effectiveness still requires ongoing support and consistent evaluation.
