Abstract

Background: The most well-known dental and oral infection is dental caries. The hard tissues of the teeth, such as enamel, dentin, and cementum, become infected with dental caries over time. Dental caries can cause torment that frustrates everyday exercises, prevents fixation, and might in fact make loss of hunger due trouble biting. This study means to dissect the connection between utilization of cariogenic food varieties and the occurrence of dental caries in youngsters at RA Al-Fattah Gresik. Method: The sort of exploration utilized is logical and observational utilizing a cross sectional plan. The populace was 112 kids and the example utilized was 88 youngsters utilizing basic irregular testing procedures. In this review, the FFQ (Food Recurrence Quotionnaire) survey was utilized. Factual tests use Chi-square. Abstract

Stroke is a condition where the blood supply to the brain is disrupted or reduced due to blockage (ischemic stroke) or rupture of blood vessels (hemorrhagic stroke). Stroke can cause physical disability, this can affect psychological, emotional, cognitive and even social conditions. So post-stroke sufferers will experience changes in their quality of life. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between the incidence of stroke and the quality of life of clients at RSUD Ibnu Sina Gresik. This research uses an observational research design with a cross sectional approach. The total population was 451 clients, 82 samples were studied using consecutive sampling techniques. The instrument used in the research was the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire and then the collected data was analyzed using the SPSS Chi-Square Test. Almost all of the stroke clients who were controlled at the neurological clinic at Ibnu Sina Gresik Regional Hospital experienced a stroke once, 62 (75.6%) of the clients and almost all of the quality of life of stroke clients who were controlled at the neurological clinic at Ibnu Sina Gresik Regional Hospital experienced a fairly good quality of life. 66 (80.5%) clients. The results of the collected data were then analyzed to obtain P = 0.624 > 0.05, so H1 was rejected and H0 was accepted. In conclusion, there is no relationship between the incidence of stroke and the quality of life of clients at Ibnu Sina Gresik Regional Hospital. Keywords : Stroke, Quality of Life, Clients

Abstract

Stroke is a major health problem for modern society today. A person who has had a stroke has a greater tendency to have a recurrence of stroke. This study aims to analyze efforts to prevent the occurrence of recurrent stroke in stroke patients at the Neurological Poly of Muhammdiyah Gresik Hospital. This type of research is correlational analysis, which is looking for a relationship between two variables, with a cross sectional approach between independent and dependent variables. The population in this study is all stroke patients at the Neurological Poly. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique obtained by 48 respondents. The test results showed that the significance of the overall count results was less than 0.05 which meant that there was a significant relationship between prevention efforts, namely blood pressure control, bloodsugar control, obesity, medication adherence, family support and stress to the occurrence of recurrent strokes. Based on the results of the study, it is hoped that health workers can make efforts to prevent recurrent stroke as an important step in handling stroke patients and provide education about it to patients and their families. The hospital should make standard operational procedures or other forms of policies regarding efforts to prevent recurrent strokes. Abstract

Background : Hypertension is a condition of systolic blood pressure ≥140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure ≥90 mmHg. Hypertension can be prevented and avoided with a healthy diet. Dietary arrangements in hypertensive patients really need family support so that patients are able to undergo the treatment process properly according to the doctor's recommendations. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between family support and compliance with diabetes in hypertensive patients at the heart specialist polyclinic of Muhammadiyah Gresik Hospital. Method : The design of this study is a correlation with a population of 93 hypertension patients and the sample set is all 93 patients. The sampling technique uses total sampling. The study used questionnaires for diit compliance. This study uses the Chi Square Test. Results: Most of the hypertension patients who were treated at the cardiac specialist polyclinic of Muhammadiyah Gresik Hospital had good family social support as many as 71 patients (76.3%), sufficient family social support as many as 18 patients (19.3%) and insufficient family social support as many as 4 patients (4.4%), The results of the Chi Square test analysis of the research obtained a value of p=0.00 < 0.05, meaning that there was a relationship between social support and diit compliance in hypertension patients. Conclusion: There is a relationship between family social support and compliance with diabetes in hypertensive patients at the heart specialist polyclinic of Muhammadiyah Gresik Hospital. Abstract

New students must adapt to a new environment because of the differences in the nature of education in Senior High School (SMA) and college. If students are unable to meet the demands in college, it can cause stress. One of the therapeutic activities that aims to improve and maintain mental health in students is Self Help Group (SHG) therapy . The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Self Help Group (SHG) on stress levels in new students of the Nursing Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Gresik. This study uses a one group pretest-posttest approach. The population is 48 new students of the Nursing Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Gresik, class of 2023. The sampling technique uses total sampling , with the research sample being all new students of the Nursing Study Program. Data collection uses questionnaires and Self Help Group (SHG) therapy observation sheets. Data analysis uses the parametric statistical test of the paired T-test (Paired Sample T-Test). The results of the study on stress levels before being given Self Help Group (SHG) therapy were that almost half of the students experienced severe stress as many as 21 (48.8%) and after being given Self Help Group (SHG) therapy, almost half of them experienced a decrease in severe stress levels in new students as many as 16 (37.2%) students. The results of the Paired Sample T-Test statistical test obtained a ρ value of 0.038 <α 0.05. There is an influence of Self Help Group (SHG) on stress levels in new students of the Nursing Science Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Gresik.

Abstract

Acne vulgaris is a chronic skin disease that occurs due to chronic pilosebaceous inflammation which is characterized by the presence of comedones, papules, pustules, nodules and cysts in the predilection areas which are usually the sebaceous glands such as the face, chest and upper back. This disease is not a dangerous disease but has a big impact on teenagers both physically and psychologically, causing anxiety and depression. A face with acne will also affect psychosocial development, including self-confidence. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between the severity of facial acne and self-confidence in adolescents. The type of research used is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The population was 135 students and the sample used was 100 students using purposive sampling technique. Statistical tests use the Chi-square test. The research results showed that the severity of acne (acne vulgaris) on the face of 41 students (41%) was in the mild category. The incidence level of self-confidence among students is in the low category, as many as 66 people (66%). The significance value of the relationship between the severity of acne (acne vulgaris) on the face and self-confidence in adolescents shows that it has a significant r value of 0.001 < α (0.05). There is a significant relationship between the severity of facial acne (acne vulgaris) and self-confidence in adolescents.
