Abstract

Muslim students need to have the skill of reading Al Qur’an from an early age so that they can understand and apply Islamic teachings properly and correctly. These skills need to be taught and trained in schools, for example through Islamic Religious Local Content in junior high school. Islamic Religious Local Content is an intra-curricular curriculum specifically launched for elementary and junior high schools by the government, including the regional government of Jombang Regency. State Junior High School (SMPN) 1 Tembelang is one of the schools that implements an Islamic Religious Local Content curriculum, but has never conducted an analysis of its students’ Al Qur’an reading skills. This research aims to analyze the skills of class VIII students at SMPN 1 Tembelang in reading Al Qur’an. The method used is descriptive with a qualitative research approach. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out descriptively. The results of the research show that class VIII students at SMPN 1 Tembelang have fair Al Qur’an reading skills, both male and female students.

Abstract

Language is a means of communication and liaison in daily and normal interactions, both between individuals and individuals, individuals and groups and groups and certain national groups. One of these languages is Arabic. Research was conducted to determine the role of Arabic language teachers in applying teaching methods, namely the eclectic method, to class XII IPS students at MA Al- Fatah Mojosari. The research uses a qualitative approach, with data collection using observation, interviews and documentation methods. Researchers use qualitative descriptive analysis techniques in the form of written or verbal data from people taken from observations of learning activities, so that the research is a comprehensive description of the actual situation. The results of the research show that the application of the eclectic method in learning Arabic makes the teaching and learning process easier in the classroom, describes a variety of Arabic language teaching methods effectively, students do not get bored quickly in receiving the material presented. Bahasa merupakan sarana komunikasi dan penghubung dalam interaksi sehari-hari yang bersifat normal, baik antara individu dengan individu, individu dengan kelompok, maupun antar kelompok dalam lingkup masyarakat dan bangsa tertentu. Salah satu bahasa tersebut adalah bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peran guru bahasa Arab dalam menerapkan metode pembelajaran, yaitu metode eklektik, pada siswa kelas XII IPS di MA Al-Fatah Mojosari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Peneliti menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif berupa data tertulis maupun lisan yang diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran, sehingga penelitian ini menyajikan gambaran yang komprehensif mengenai kondisi nyata di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode eklektik dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab dapat mempermudah proses belajar mengajar di kelas, menyajikan variasi metode pengajaran bahasa Arab secara efektif, serta membuat peserta didik tidak cepat merasa bosan dalam menerima materi yang disampaikan.

Abstract

Investment is one of the essential factors in regional development because it can increase the attractiveness of a location for doing business and encourage economic growth. Increased investment is needed to encourage regional development in Indonesia, including the border area of ​​West Kalimantan. This study aims to analyze the level of inequality in development investment in the border and non-border areas of West Kalimantan and examine more deeply the level of inequality within the region and between regions in the border area of ​​West Kalimantan. The inequality analysis method used in this study is the Williamson Index and Theil Entropy Index. The analysis results show that the per capita investment inequality in non-border areas is higher than in border areas. Inequality in per capita investment in border areas is in the moderate category, but this inequality has tended to increase in the last five years. The investment disparity between the five regencies in the border area is higher when compared to the level of investment disparity between the border and non-border herd.

Abstract

Anak binaan pemasyarakatan adalah anak-anak dalam usia 14-18 tahun yang berada pada masa pembinaan dan rehabilitasi di LPKA. Anak binaan membutuhkan kegiatan-kegiatan yang positif yang dapat mengingkatkan keterampilan sebagai bekal untuk kembali ke masyarakat. Salah satu keterampilan yang dapat dipelajari adalah keterampilan daur ulang limbah, karena bahan bakunya mudah didapat dan terjangkau. Jenis limbah yang dapat dimanfaatkan dan diolah menjadi produk yang bernilai guna dan bernilai jual adalah minyak jelantah. Sehingga pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melatih anak-anak binaan untuk mengolah minyak jelantah sebagai sabun dan lilin aroma terapi. Kegiatan pelatihan ini meliputi materi dan praktik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa anak binaan memiliki peningkatan wawasan terkait dengan pemanfaatan minyak jelantah. Dengan adanya pelatihan tersebut anak binaan dapat menghasilkan produk olahan minyak jelantah yang bernilai ekonomi.

Abstract

Spatial planning requires diverse, comprehensive, accurate, and detailed data to forecast spatial development needs. Parit Lalang Subdistrict is located in Rangkui District, Pangkal Pinang City. The potential of Parit Lalang Subdistrict has yet to be identified well enough and accurately. Community assistance aims to digitize and spatialize the potential of Parit Lalang Village. This community program is carried out in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The team carried out coordination activities and prepared training modules in the preparation stage. Participatory mapping activities (spatialization) and spatial data digitization training were carried out at the implementation stage. At the evaluation stage, evaluation meetings are carried out, and the results of the activities are submitted to partners. This community assistance activity results in data on potential and neighborhood problems that can be mapped and published digitally as a database for preparing planning programs. The database is arranged in map form, including regional boundary maps, land use maps, and supporting infrastructure maps. From this mentoring activity, a digitalization and spatialization module was also produced, a guidebook that can be used by village governments if they want to map regional potential. The enthusiasm of the people and government of Parit Lalang Subdistrict is quite high in identifying the area's potential so that similar activities can be replicated in other villages. The availability of digital spatial data formats can increase the reach of public information on the potential and conditions of residential areas, thereby providing efficiency in meeting community needs from a development aspect.

Abstract

The Regional Regulation of West Kalimantan Province prohibits new land opening in the peat ecosystem area until zoning for the area's protection and cultivation functions has been determined for specific plants. Based on the 2022 satellite image maps overlaid with the boundaries of the Ambawang Village Forest, it is known that 309.7 hectares of land have been cleared, thereby reducing the area's primary function. This research aims to determine when land cover changes occur in the peat ecosystem of the Ambawang Village Forest. The required data are field survey data, satellite imagery maps from 2004, 2009, 2016, and 2022, a map of the West Kalimantan terrain, an indicative map of production forest utilization directions for 2021, and the boundaries of the Ambawang Village Forest map. The analytical method used is a descriptive analysis with a spatial approach. The result indicates that between 2004 and 2016, there was a change in land cover from medium-density secondary swamp/peat forest to non-forest (deforestation) covering an area of 309.7 hectares. Between 2009 and 2016, forest land continued to be cleared to make way for natural/semi-natural open areas, shrublands, and oil palm plantations. From 2016 to 2022, forest clearing ceased, the area of oil palm plantations remained constant, and shrubland increased. It shows there is no violation of the West Kalimantan Province Regional Regulation number 8 of 2021, as the forest land was cleared before this regulation was enacted.
