Abstract

This study aims to determine the development strategy for the Sarasah Tangkhugan waterfall tourist attraction in Nagari Salareh Aia, Palebayan District, Agam Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The informants in this study were Wali Nagari Palembayan and visitors. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study uses the SWOT analysis method. This tourism object has the potential to develop because its beauty and panorama can attract tourists. The results of the research on the development strategy for the Sarasah Tangkhugan waterfall tourism object in Nagari Salareh Aia, Palembayan District, Agam Regency, it can be concluded that the local party needs to add facilities around the tourist attraction, pave unpaved roads, and make entrance gates so that it becomes a better tourist attraction for visiting tourists. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the effect of blended learning on the academic achievement of grade XI social studies students at SMA Negeri 2 Tembilahan. Learning geography subjects tends to be boring for students because it is still carried out conventionally at SMA Negeri 2 Tembilahan, while two-thirds are below KKM (65), including XI IPS1 has an average of 62, XI IPS2 is 63, and XI IPS3 is 74. The method used is quantitative with a population of 60 people consisting of three classes with a sample of 20 experimental class people and 1 control class person. The results proved the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) 0.74 > 0.05 (meaning normally distributed), significance value/probability value > 0.05 (meaning the variance of pre-test and post-test results is the same), T-test results > T-table, 9,602 > 1,711 (meaning the hypothesis of this study is accepted), Sig 2 tailed is valued at 0.000 < 0.05 which means that blended learning is significant in Keywords: Blended Learning, Student Learning Outcomes, Geography Lessons, Senior High School

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kendala penerapan Sapta Pesona di Objek Wisata Pantai Pasir Tiku di Kecamatan Tanjung Mutiara Kabupaten Agam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu (1) kendala penerapan, unsur aman seperti tidak adanya petugas khusus keamanan, unsur tertib seperti kurang tertibnya membuang sampah dan adanya oknum yang berjualan di luar batas, unsur bersih seperti pembuangan sampah sembarangan, unsur sejuk, indah, dan ramah tidak terdapat kendala, dan unsur kenangan seperti tidak tersedianya area khusus pusat oleh-oleh. (2) upaya penerapannya, dalam segi Aman disini bersifat swadaya masyarakat dan melibatkan aparat sekitar, tertib pihak kenagarian melakukan koordinasi untuk melakukan penatan, dalam kebersihan pengelola menyediakan fasilitas kebersihan dan bekerja sama dengan dinas lingkungan setempat, dalam kesejukan belum diadakan upaya, unsur indah tetap menjaga kelestarian aktraksi objek wisata pantai pasir tiku, unsur ramah dilakukan dengan terbuka kepada setiap wisatawan, dan dalam segi kenangan pihak kenagarian mengusahakan menyediakan membuat kios – kios souvenir untuk wisatawan. (3) Masyarakat ikut andil dalam menjaga keamanan, ketertiban, kebersihan, kesejukan, keindahan, bersikap ramah, dan menyediakan makanan khas setempat

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan, memahami strategi pembelajaan dan kendala guru geografi dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan subjek penelitian adalah lima orang guru yang mengajar mata pelajaran Geografi di kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang pada tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa strategi guru pada pembelajaran geografi dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang Kabupaten Pasaman Barat yaitu menggunakan strategi ekpositori dan strategi Inquiry. Faktor pendukung dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang yaitu Kurikulum yang diterapkan sesuai pembelajaran. Dan factor pengahambat dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang yaitu media pembelajaran yang terbatas, faktor lingkungan baik lingkungan rumah maupun sekolah, faktor usia dari beberapa guru , dan pengaruh teman.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis flipbook di kelas XI SMAN 1 Batusangkar dan untuk menganalisis kepraktisan media pembelajaran geografi berbasis flipbook dikelas XI SMAN 1 Batusangkar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (RND) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan (1974). Model pengembangan ini terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu pendefinisan (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (disseminate). Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan observasi dan angket, dengan teknik analisis data yang diukur dengan menggunakan skala likert. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa media pembelajaran geografi berbasis flipbook dikelas XI SMAN 1 Batusangkar berada dalam kategori sangat valid, dengan nilai validitas materi sebesar 95%, validitas media sebesar 89% dan nilai validitas bahasa sebesar 90%. Sedangkan uji praktikalitas berada dalam kategori sangat praktis, dengan memperoleh nilai praktikalitas 91,67% dari guru dan memperoleh nilai praktikalitas 85,24% dari peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi siswa tentang keterampilan mengajar mahasiswa PPL di SMA N 2 Lubuk Basung Kabupaten Agam yang terdiri dari keterampilan membuka dan menutup pembelajaran, keterampilan menjelaskan, keterampilan bertanya, keterampilan mengadakan variasi dan keterampilan mengelola kelas. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas XII yang memilih mata pelajaran geografi yaitu 150 orang siswa. Pengukuran sampel menggunakan rumus slovin dengan tingkat kesalahan 5% yaitu 110 orang siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel per kelas menggunakan cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, penyebaran kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data berupa analisis deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Keterampilan membuka dan menutup pembelajaran mahasiswa PPL dalam kriteria baik dengan persentase 82%. 2) Keterampilan menjelaskan mahasiswa PPL berada pada kriteria baik sebesar 84%. 3) Keterampilan bertanya mahasiswa PPL dalam kriteria baik sebesar 84%. 4) Keterampilan mengadakan variasi mahasiswa PPL berada pada kriteria baik yaitu 81%. 5) Keterampilan mengelola kelas mahasiswa PPL berada pada kriteria sangat baik dengan persentase 85%. Untuk itu secara keseluruhan keterampilan mengajar mahasiswa PPL di SMAN 2 Lubuk Basung dalam kriteria baik dengan rata-rata sebesar 83%. Hal ini menandakan bahwa siswa juga memiliki persepsi yang baik tentang keterampilan mengajar mahasiswa PPL di SMAN 2 Lubuk Basung Kabupaten Agam khususnya pada mahasiswa yang mengajar mata pelajaran geografi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how much students are prepared to become geography teachers in the geography department of the 2017 education study program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Padang State University.This type of research uses descriptive quantitative. The population in this study was the 2017 class of education geography students, totaling 137 students. Sampling of respondents used the Slovin formula, with an error rate of 5% from 137 so that 102 students were sampled. The sampling technique of this study used proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis.The results of this study found that the readiness to become a geography teacher for students majoring in geography in the 2017 class of education study program was obtained an average of 3.94 and was in the very ready category. So that there are no doubts and worries by researchers, because in this study it proves that students majoring in geography in the 2017 class of education study programs are ready to become geography teachers.

Abstract

One of the technological advances is the use of the internet in Learning Management Systems, such as google classroom and whatsapp to overcome the implementation of online learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of google classroom and whatsapp on the learning outcomes of geography in the even semester of class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Dumai. The research method is quantitative with an associative approach. The sampling technique was random sampling, totaling 78 students. Data collection techniques by means of tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with multiple linear regression, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing (t test and f test). The results of the study partially prove that the use of google classroom (X1) has a significant and positive effect of 0.581, and whatsapp (X2) has a significant and positive effect of 1.451 on the learning outcomes of geography (Y) class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Dumai. The results of the simultaneous acquisition are the calculated F value 13.62 > F table 1.94, and judging from the significant probability value 0.262 < 0.05, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Overall, the use of google classroom and whatsapp has an effect on geography learning outcomes by 93.2% while the difference is 6.8% by other variables.

Abstract

Learning strategy is one of the factors that can affect the success of a learning. The success of student learning can be measured by the achievement of student learning outcomes based on the standard minimum learning completeness criteria (KKM) that have been set. The purposes of this study: 1) To describe how the learning strategies used by Geography subject teachers in achieving KKM during the Covid-19 pandemic class XI IPS at MAN 1 Kerinci and SMAN 6 Kerinci, 2) To describe how the achievement of KKM in subjects Geography class XI IPS at MAN 1 Kerinci and SMAN 6 Kerinci, 3) To describe how the obstacles faced by Geography subject teachers in carrying out learning strategies for achieving KKM during the covid-19 pandemic in Geography class XI IPS at MAN 1 Kerinci and SMAN 6 Kerinci. This research was conducted in class XI IPS MAN 1 Kerinci and SMAN 6 Kerinci. The results of this study are useful for teachers, students and schools in achieving the KKM of students. This type of research is qualitative. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used in this research is data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of the study show that: 1) Learning strategies: a) preliminary activities: the teacher makes lesson plans for one semester. Pre-learning activities are carried out with a pre-test in the form of questions and answers. b) delivery of information: the learning method used is the lecture method and the question and answer method. The media used are teacher's speech, pictures, textbooks, and videos. c) Student participation, student interaction with the teacher is one-way and two-way interaction patterns, while the interaction between students occurs when using the question and answer method and the game method. d) Test: the form of test used by the teacher to evaluate is in the form of an essay. e) follow-up activities: students whose scores have not reached the KKM perform remedial activities. 2) out of a total of 46 students, there are 87% of students or the equivalent of 40 students getting scores above the KKM standard and 13% of students or equivalent to 6 students whose scores have not reached the KKM standard. 3) the obstacles faced are limitations in choosing learning media due to inadequate school facilities and infrastructure, many students are also less active during the learning process, and the school yard is quite narrow and the school is also located in residential areas making noise from outside the classroom. can enter and interfere with the concentration of students during learning activities.

Abstract

Based on the circular decree of the 4 Ministers Number 03/KB/2021 regarding guidelines for the implementation of learning during the Covid-19 period. With this policy, it is possible for schools to carry out hybrid learning, both by carrying out face-to-face learning activities by utilizing technology in each process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the Hybrid Learning Model on student learning outcomes. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with the type of experimental research with Pretest-Posttest control group design. The population of this research is class X IPS using purposive sampling technique, the research sample is class X IPS 1 and X IPS 3 SMA Negeri 6 Padang. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques for initial conditions, and test techniques to collect data on student learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used the Independent Samples T Test as a hypothesis test. The results of this study are based on proving the accepted hypothesis using the T test, where the calculation results obtained sig.(2-tailed) of 0.000 with a significant level of 0.005. From the results of the analysis, it is explained that there is a better influence in the use of content technology-based Hybrid Learning learning models in learning compared to conventional models, as well as the average student learning outcomes taught by the hybrid learning learning model is higher with a gain value of 0.76 taught. "effective" compared to conventional models with a gain value of 0.24 which is classified as "less effective"
