Abstract

Stock returns are the profit earned by investors from owning shares in a company. This study aims to analyze the impact of profitability and leverage on stock returns, This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability and leverage on stock returns, with firm size as a moderating variable, in healthcare companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2023. The study population consists of all healthcare companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, resulting in 14 companies that met the criteria. Data analysis was conducted using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results indicate that profitability has a contribution to stock returns, leverage has no contribution to stock returns, firm size moderates the relationship between profitability and stock returns but does not moderate the relationship between leverage and stock returns for healthcare companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the variables affecting the stock value of food and beverage firms listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). This research examines a number of variables, including firm value as the dependent variable, profitability as an independent variable, and liquidity as an independent variable. The Food and Beverage Sub-Sector's Manufacturing Industry Consumption Goods Factory Zone, which includes 33 industries, serves as the study's population. Purposive sampling, which is the collecting of samples with aims and intents in categorizing drawings based on specified criteria, was used to choose the sample for this study. 25 manufacturing sectors from the food and beverage sub-zone of the consumer goods firm zone served as the samples. The study's findings indicate that although profitability and liquidity may both increase a business's value, company expansion cannot. These findings are particularly relevant to the food and beverage firms listed on the Indone Keywords : company growth, profitability, liquidity, company value.

Abstract

The ability to manage finances effectively is crucial for students living away from home, as they must manage their own budgets while meeting various academic and personal needs. This study aims to analyze the relationship between financial literacy, lifestyle, and financial attitudes toward saving behavior among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UPN "Veteran" Jawa Timur who live away from home. The research employs a quantitative approach with variable measurement using a Likert scale. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, involving 98 respondents. Hypotheses were tested using SmartPLS software. The results show that financial literacy contributes to saving behavior decisions among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UPN "Veteran" Jawa Timur, lifestyle contributes to saving behavior decisions, and financial attitudes also contribute to saving behavior decisions among these students.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) currently require good financial performance for sustainability and decision making. In the future, MSMEs will only develop in terms of quantity but have not been matched by good quality. For this reason, financial literacy and digital innovation are things that support the performance of MSMEs. Finding out (1) how financial literacy affects MSME performance, (2) how digital innovation affects MSME performance, and (3) how financial literacy affects MSME performance through business sustainability are the goals of this study (4) the influence of digital innovation on MSME performance through business sustainability. The population in this study are all owners and managers of East Surabaya Bulak Fish Center (SIB) MSMEs who run a trading business in food, drinks and souvenir accessories. The study sample consisted of seventy-five individuals who were managers or owners of businesses. Saturated sampling was the method of sampling, and partial least squares (PLS) analysis was the method of analysis. The findings of this study show that (1) financial literacy increases the contribution to the performance of MSMEs, (2) digital innovation increases the contribution to the performance of MSMEs, (3) financial literacy increases the contribution to the performance of MSMEs through business sustainability, (4) digital innovation increases the contribution to MSME performance through business sustainability.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) merupakan tulang punggung perekonomian Indonesia, mendominasi 99% struktur usaha nasional dan berkontribusi signifikan terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) sebesar 60,51%. Meskipun memiliki potensi besar, UMKM masih menghadapi tantangan dalam transformasi digital dan pengembangan kapasitas bisnis. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberdayakan UMKM di Kecamatan Pakal, Surabaya, melalui sosialisasi pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk meningkatkan daya saing usaha. Tujuan diadakan sosialisasi ini yaitu karena keterbatasan akses terhadap infrastruktur teknologi informasi, minimnya pengetahuan mendalam tentang strategi pemasaran digital, serta ketidakseimbangan kualitas sumber daya manusia dalam mengadaptasi teknologi digital. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi pada tanggal 21 Oktober 2024 di Aula Kantor Kecamatan Pakal, dengan melibatkan 64 pelaku UMKM dari empat kelurahan. Kegiatan mencakup pemberian materi tentang strategi pemasaran digital dan bagaimana melakukan pengelolaan media sosial yang benar. Peserta dibekali pengetahuan praktis tentang pembuatan logo usaha, pembuatan akun Instagram, dan strategi pemasaran digital yang efektif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap potensi digital dalam pengembangan usaha. Beberapa UMKM telah berhasil memperluas jangkauan pasar mereka, dengan produk mulai dikenal di luar wilayah asalnya. Proses digitalisasi difokuskan pada pembentukan identitas visual melalui logo dan pemanfaatan platform media sosial, khususnya Instagram, untuk promosi dan interaksi dengan pelanggan. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah transformasi digital merupakan kebutuhan mendesak bagi UMKM untuk bertahan dan berkembang di era ekonomi modern. antara tim pengabdian masyarakat, pemerintah kecamatan, dan para pelaku usaha menjadi kunci keberhasilan pemberdayaan UMKM. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam mendorong inovasi, meningkatkan daya saing, dan membuka peluang pertumbuhan perekonomian lokal.

Abstract

Technological advances have an impact on several sectors, including investment use. There are several factors that can influence investment decisions. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors of Overconfidence, Availability bias, and risk perception and financial literacy as a moderation of stock investment decisions in generation Z in Surabaya City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a sample in this study, namely generation Z from Surabaya City with an age range of 17 to 27 years, totaling 141 respondents. Data collection in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires and then the data analysis technique used was using Partial Least Square (PLS). This study found that (1) Overconfidence contributes to stock investment decision making. (2) Availability bias contributes to stock investment decision making. (3) risk perception cannot contribute to stock investment decision making. (4) financial literacy can moderate the relationship between overconfidence and stock investment decision making. (5) financial literacy cannot moderate the relationship between availability bias and stock investment decision making. (6) financial literacy can moderate the relationship between risk perception and stock investment decision making.

Abstract

Turnover Intention is a desire of an individual worker to leave or resign from their current workplace and/or to change their place of work. This study aims to examine the Effect of Meaningful Work, Career Development, and Job Insecurity on Employee Turnover Intention at PT Patra Jasa in Surabaya. The method used is a quantitative method with a total of 55 respondents who are employees of PT Patra Jasa in Surabaya. The data collection technique is by administering questionnaires and testing or analysis using Structural Equation Modeling with the Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The results of this research are that Meaningful Work cannot contribute to Turnover Intention. While Career Development and Job Insecurity can contribute to Turnover Intention, apart from that Meaningful Work and Job Insecurity can contribute to Career Development.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to examine the contribution of liquidity, leverage, and activity on firm value in coal sub-sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample was taken through purposive sampling so that 20 coal sub-sector companies were obtained. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing is done by using the simultaneous test and partial test. Based on the result, this research claims that liquidity (current ratio) and activity (total asset turnover ratio) cannot contribute to company value, meanwhile, leverage (debt to asset ratio) can contribute to company value.

Abstract

Interest in investing is a desire to find out about the type of investment starting from the advantages, disadvantages, investment performance and so on. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of financial literacy, investment knowledge, risk perception on investment interest in the capital market in Management students of the Faculty of Economics and Business UPN "Veteran" East Java. The population in this study were active students of the management study program, the sample was taken using the Slovin formula method which was calculated from the total target population so that a sample of 94 respondents was obtained, the questionnaire method was used for data collection in this study. This study uses Partial Least Square (PLS) as a data analysis technique.The results of this study indicate that financial literacy has a contribution to student investment interest in the capital market, investment knowledge has a contribution to student investment interest in the capital market, risk perception has a contribution to student investment interest in the capital market.
