Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of general relaxation exercises on the level of nausea and vomiting in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy induction. The method used in this research is a systematic review of several databases through searches of trusted journals, such as Scopus, EBSCOhost, Springer Link, Proquest and Science Direck, Google Schooler with article analysis using the PRISMA method. The results of the study showed that a total of 10 articles had been analyzed in which there were several relaxation exercise interventions that were given generally and successively proven to reduce the level of nausea and vomiting in cancer patients who received chemotherapy induction. Conclusion: Providing relaxation exercise interventions in general is flexible, simple, easy to learn, and helps reduce the level of nausea and vomiting in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy induction. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Virtual Reality (VR) to reduce procedural pain in children with cancer. The method use is a systematic review by collecting articles from the Proquest, Sage Journals, ScienceDirect and PubMed databases. The results describe that children with cancer in the VR group reported lower pain scores compared to the control group, both pain scores reported by children and pain scores reported by parents. Conclusions, the use of VR is effective in reducing prosedural pain in children with cancer. Keywords: Children With Cancer, Procedural Pain, Virtual Reality

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the quality of life of breast cancer patients with lymphedema. The research method used is a systematic review through databases and electronic websites, namely Pubmed, Proquest, EbscoHost, and Embase. The results of the study showed that the 10 research articles explained factors that influence quality of life, including operations involving the removal of a number of lymph nodes thereby increasing the possibility of lymphedema, the degree of lymphedema which affects the physical domain, mental domain, social domain and sexuality domain, as well as the accuracy of handling lymphedema. In conclusion, anticipating the impact of lymphedema will improve the quality of life of breast cancer patients. Keywords: Breast Cancer, Lymphedema, Quality Of Life

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the level of spirituality and the level of anxiety and depression in cancer patients. The method used was a systematic review of several databases, such as Scopus, Google Scholar, PubMed, ProQuest, and EBSCOHost, which were used in the search for relevant articles. The research results show that there are a total of 9 articles that have been analyzed, one of which is the complex condition of cancer-causing sufferers to face various clinical symptoms, both physical and psychological, and the spirituality needed by cancer patients to provide comfort. In this context, the need for aspects of spirituality cannot be ignored because it can give comfort and positively impact the health and healing of patients. Therefore, fulfilling spiritual needs is very important, apart from paying attention to other aspects of needs in individuals experiencing cancer. Conclusion: The spiritual interventions carried out are suitable for reducing levels of anxiety and depression in cancer patients, including dhikr therapy, reading books about religion, spiritual counseling, nursing care based on a support-based spiritual care model, religious-spiritual psychotherapy, and Al-based group spiritual interventions. -Quran and Islam. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate factors associated with comfort, symptom burden, and depression in breast cancer patients. The method used was a systematic review following PRISMA guidelines, with searches in PubMed, Embase, and ScienceDirect until March 2024 using the terms "breast cancer," "comfort," "symptom burden," and "depression." Research results from 9 articles show that demographic factors, clinical factors, and psychological factors have an impact on patient comfort. Symptom burden was influenced by race, age, employment status, and place of residence. At the same time, bisphosphonate treatment, metastasis, comorbidities, disease stage, chemotherapy, hormone therapy, and physical activity contributed to variation in symptom burden. Depression, as measured, was also analyzed, as well as these factors. In conclusion, comfort, symptom burden, and depression in breast cancer patients are influenced by various demographic, clinical, and psychological factors. Abstract

This study Aims to identify any factors that determine the incidence of sexual dysfunction in cervical cancer patients. The method used in this article is a systematic review uses several databases such as Pubmed, Ebscohost, Proquest, Science Direct and Scopus. The article analysis process uses the PRISMA method. The result of this study showed that the incidence of sexual dysfunction in cervical cancer patients is generally not only caused by a decrease in the patient’s physical function, but is also influenced by the patient’s Bio, Psychological, social and spiritual factors. The Conclusion of this systematic review is that to overcome the various factors that cause dysfunction in cervical cancer patients. It is necessary for the cervical cancer patients to adapt with these factors. Moreover, to help cervical cancer patients overcoming the problem caused by sexual dysfunction, a good theraupeutical strategy is also needed to deal with the symptoms caused by the desease as well as the cancer’s therapy and treatment. Abstract

This research aims to study and review each research article and summarize the relationship between spirituality and religious practices on the quality of life of cancer patients. The method used is a literature review through databases such as Scopus, PubMed, EBSCOHost, Science Direct, Clinicalkey Nursing, ProQuest, and Jstor (Springer). The research results showed that there were 10 articles that were relevant to the objectives, where spirituality/religiosity had a positive relationship with physical, emotional and social functioning. On the other hand, it is negatively associated with symptoms of disease, such as pain or emotional and physical exhaustion. In conclusion, spiritual aspects and religious practices are positively correlated with the quality of life of cancer patients. Abstract

This study aims to identify the effectiveness of education or self-management programs on the quality of life of breast cancer patients. The method used was a systematic review using a systematic search through the Proquest, Science Direct, and EBSCOhost databases with articles that met the inclusion criteria with publications between 2014 and 2023 as well as an article search technique using the PRISMA scheme stages. The results of the research showed that the search results identified ten articles in which various self-management programs stated that self-management program education had a positive effect on the quality of life of breast cancer patients. The conclusion obtained is that the self-management program can be an effective intervention to improve the quality of life of breast cancer patients. Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between self-compassion and the psychological well-being of cancer patients. The method used in this research is a systematic review, where we conducted journal searches in the ScienceDirect, PubMed, ProQuest, Springer, and EBSCOhost databases using the keywords' cancer patients', 'psychological well-being, 'and 'self-compassion. ' The research results show that self-compassion influences levels of depression, stress, anxiety, quality of life, body image disturbance, body shame, stigma, and other things that affect the psychology of cancer patients.
