Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of direct instruction model-assisted macromedia flash. The effectiveness of the learning model are measured by two indicators, that are the activities of students during learning and the level of completeness of student learning outcomes after learning activities. From the analysis of the data it is known that the activities of students during learning are at scores 4 and 5, the average cognitive score of students is 78 and the lowest score was 76. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the application of direct instruction model based on macromedia flash is effective to reduce student learning difficulties Class XII IPA MA Al-Khoiriyah Dalegan Panceng on the colligative properties of the solutions material. Keywords: effectiveness, direct instruction model, macromedia flash, colligative properties of solutions

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract: Chemistry is divided into two concepts, namely concrete and defined concepts. Geometry Molecul is one of the defined concepts because the idea is at the molecular level and is invisible to the eye. So, to understand the material molecular shape requires spatial-visual intelligence. Therefore, to determine the effect of the TGT-Puzzle cooperative learning strategy on spatial-visual intelligence on the geometry molecul, this study was conducted. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was an increase in spatial-visual intelligence after being taught using the TGT-Puzzle cooperative learning strategy in class X IPA MA Hidayatul Ummah Pringgoboyo. This study uses an inferential statistical method using the paired sample t-test to determine whether or not there is an increase in visual-spatial intelligence after being taught using the TGT-Puzzle cooperative learning strategy. The analysis technique uses a paired sample t-test with a significance value (sig) < 0.05. The results of this study indicate an increase in spatial-visual intelligence scores after being taught using the TGT-Puzzle cooperative learning strategy, where if there is an increase in the category from average to high average or high average to superior. Abstract

Hydrocarbon material is one of the organic chemical materials which is the basic concept for studying the next organic chemistry concept. Based on the result of observation, the average score of students in Organic Chemistry I course is 67.89. The result of this study indicates that students have difficulty of understanding in organic compounds. The objective of this research is to analyze the understanding on chemistry education students of hydrocarbon compounds in Organic Chemistry II course. The research design in this research is descriptive quantitative. The research subjects are students of the 2017 Chemical Education study program. There are 3 stages in the research, including pretest, implementation of learning, and posttest. The pretest aims to obtain data on students' initial knowledge of the material to be studied. Implementation of learning aims to improve students' understanding of hydrocarbon compound material, while posttest aims to measure the level of understanding of students after being given treatment. The conclusion of thisstudy is the students have highest difficulty in the topic hydrocarbon reactions (67.75%).

Abstract

Abstrak: Munculnya Covid-19 menimbulkan banyak masalah, terutama bagi dunia pendidikan. Banyak upaya yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah untuk menyesuiakan strategi pembelajaran agar kegiatan belajar mengajar tetap berlangsung sebagaimana mestinya. Namun pada faktanya, guru tidak dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran online karena kondisi ekonomi siswa pada umumnya dari kalangan menengah ke bawah. Dalam pelaksanaan KKN, penulis memberikan bimbingan belajar bahasa Inggris dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan bahasa Inggris siswa sekolah dasar di Desa Siser. Adapun penulis bekerjasama dengan dua lembaga pendidikan dalam penelitian ini yakni, SD Negeri Siser dan MI Thoriqotul Hidayah Siser. Metode yang digunakan penulis adalah memberikan bimbingan belajar terkait penggunakan kosa kata Bahasa Inggris dalam aktivitas sehari-hari. Adanya program ini menghasilkan peningkatan pengetahuan Bahasa Inggris siswa yang mana masing-masing nilai rata-rata pre-test dan post-test berturut-turut yaitu 66,1, dan 80,5. Dalam hal ini penulis menggunakan konsep kesebandingan dan didapatkan peningkatan sebesar 21,79%.Abstract: The emergence of Covid-19 has caused many problems, especially for the education of the world. The government has made adjustments to the learning strategy so that teaching and learning activities can be continued. However actually, teachers cannot carry out of online learning because the economic conditions of students are generally from the lower middle class. In implementing of KKN, the author was provided English language tutoring with the aim for increasing of the English knowledge for elementary school students in Siser Village. The author collaborated with two educational institutions in this study, namely SD Negeri Siser and MI Thoriqotul Hidayah Siser. The method used by the researcher is to provide tutoring related to the use of English vocabulary in daily activities. The result obtained from this program is an increasing of students' knowledge of English where the average scores of the pre-test and post-test respectively were 66.1 and 80.5 In this case, the researcher used the concept of proportionality and found an increasing in the value between the average pre-test and post-test scores of 21.79%.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan kemampuan awal dengan motivasi belajar mahasiswa terhadap hasil belajar pada mata kuliah Kimia Dasar. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Kimia Angkatan 2017. Penelitian dilakukan dengan 3 tahap yaitu tahap identifikasi kemampuan awal, tahap identifikasi level motivasi belajar dan tahap analisis hubungan kemampuan awal dengan  motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar. Identifikasi kemampuan awal dilakukan terhadap 14 mahasiswa sebelum memperoleh matakuliah Kimia Dasar. Identifikasi motivasi dilakukan setelah proses perkuliahan dan tahap terakhir dilakukan setelah selesai pemberian matakuliah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan intrumen wawancara, tes dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan awal mahasiswa memiliki pengaruh yang sangat erat dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar dalam mata kuliah Kimia Dasar.Abstract:  The purpose of study was to determine the relationship between initial ability and student motivation towards learning outcomes in Basic Chemistry. The research design used was descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were students of the Chemical Education Study Program Class of 2017. The research was conducted in 3 stages, namely the initial ability identification stage, the identification stage of the level of learning motivation and the analysis stage of the relationship between initial ability and learning motivation on learning outcomes. The initial ability identification was carried out on 14 students before Basic Chemistry course. Identification of motivation was carried out after the lecture process and the last stage was carried out after completing the course. Data collection techniques using interview instruments, tests and questionnaires. The results showed that students' initial abilities had a very strong influence on learning outcomes in Basic Chemistry course

Abstract

Pandemi virus Corona yang melanda Indonesia sejak tahun 2020 memberikan dampak nyata khususnya pada bidang Pendidikan. Kondisi ini mengakibatkan adanya pembatasan kegiatan bimbingan tatap muka dalam pendampingan KSM. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan ketrampilan kepada siswa tentang penalaran jawaban dari soal dan pemahaman materi sains yang menyeluruh dikaitkan dengan agama serta nilai keislaman. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah melalui pendampingan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran hybrid, yaitu pendampingan melalui tatap muka langsung dan secara daring menggunakan Grup Whatsapp. Kegiatan pendampingan ini dilakukan pada kelas V dan VI di MI Al-Khoiriyah 1 Delegan. Jumlah siswa sasaran adalah 4 orang siswa yang terpilih dan terbagi dalam kelompok IPA dan Matematika untuk mewakili dalam kegiatan KSM. Hasil dari pendampingan menunjukkan peningkatan penguasaan konsep materi dan ketrampilan menjawab siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata 82. Selain itu siswa juga dapat lebih memahami konsep sains yang diberikan dan integrasinya dengan agama.  Kata kunci: pendampingan; KSM; pendekatan hybrid; covid-19.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa materi isomeri senyawa organik. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Kimia Angkatan 2018. Objek penelitian adalah mata kuliah Kimia Organik I materi isomeri senyawa karbon. Ada 3 (tiga) tahapan dalam pengumpulan data, yaitu tes awal (pretest), pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan tes akhir (postest). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masih ada 2 (dua) konsep dalam materi isomeri senyawa karbon yang belum mencapai ketuntasan maksimal, yaitu jenis gugus fungsi senyawa karbon dan tipe reaksi senyawa karbon

Abstract

Ilmu kimia terbagi menjadi dua konsep, yaitu konsep konkret dan terdefiinisi. Bentuk molekul merupakan salah satu konsep terdefinisi karena gagasannya berada pada tingkat molekuler dan tidak kasat mata. Sehingga, untuk memahami materi bentuk molekul dibutuhkan kecerdasan spasial-visual. Oleh sebab itu untuk mengetahui hubungan kecerdasan spasial-visual dan prestasi belajar pada materi bentuk molekul dilakukan dalam penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya korelasi antara kecerdasan spasial-visual dengan prestasi belajar siswa kelas X IPA MA Hidayatul Ummah Pringgoboyo pada materi bentuk molekul. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan statistik korelasi regresi untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya korelasi antara kecerdasan spasial-visual dengan prestasi belajar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tidak terdapat korelasi antara kecerdasan spasial-visual dengan prestasi belajar, hal ini dimungkinkan karena tidak hanya kecerdasan spasial-visual yang berperan dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar.
