Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using Augmented Reality media to increase student learning motivation. This type of research is a quantitative quasi-experimental design with Pretest-Posttest Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this study were 42 students in class X-Natural Science and X-Social Science. The research instrument used was a motivational questionnaire with 4 indicators, namely Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction (ARCS). Data collection techniques were carried out by giving motivational questionnaires to students before and after learning. The data that has been obtained, then analyzed using the completeness formula of student achievement to determine the level of effectiveness of Augmented Reality media on student learning motivation. The results of the effectiveness of the media in the experimental class and the control class obtained the final motivational completeness percentages of 100% and 86%, respectively. Based on the results of the effectiveness of the media, it can be concluded that the use of Augmented Reality media is stated to be very effective for increasing student motivation in chemical bonding material.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to see the successful application of learning by using multimodeled devices in the physics chemistry course II in the Chemistry Education Study Program of Billfath University. The research design used in this study is a descriptive analysis. The object of the study was the course Of Physical Chemistry II (Reaction Rate, Reaction Rate Law, Reaction Order, Determination of reaction order, as well as factors that influence reaction rate). This stage of research consists of two stages, namely pre-research, and applying multimodel learning. Pre-research was carried out with the aim of knowing the initial picture of Physics Chemistry II courses that were considered difficult for most students. The next step is the application of multimodel learning that aims to find out the success of application by using a multimodel device of Physical Chemistry study materials II at the Chemistry Education Study Program FKIP Billfath University. As for knowing the success of learning implementation using multimodel can be measured by the ability of indicators that implement multi models. The results of the analysis found that 80% of students experienced the completeness of studying in the course of Physics Chemistry II. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the application of learning using multimodel devices in the course of Chemistry Physics II in the Chemistry Education Study Program of Billfath University can be said to have experienced success.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kesulitan belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran daring, khususnya pada mata pelajaran kimia. Sejak wabah Covid-19 ditetapkan sebagai pandemik, proses pembelajaran yang pada awalnya dapat dilakukan secara tatap muka beralih menjadi pembelajaran daring. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal, ternyata tidak semua siswa yang dapat mencapai keberhasilan dalam pembelajaran daring. Oleh karena hal itu, peneliti memiliki keinginan untuk menganalisis kesulitan belajar kimia secara daring selama pandemik Covid-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan instrumen kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada siswa dari beberapa SMA/MA/SMK yang ada di wilayah Jawa Timur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa selama pembelajaran daring 41% siswa menyatakan bahwa mereka tidak dapat memahami konsep kimia dengan baik, 46% siswa menyatakan bahwa mereka tidak dapat mengingat konsep kimia lebih lama, dan 43% siswa menyatakan bahwa mereka mengalami ketegangan belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan penggunaan media Augmented Reality terhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen) dengan Posttest Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode kuantitatif inferensial. Populasi yang dimaksud merupakan seluruh siswa MA Al Muhtadi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari siswa kelas X sebanyak 42 siswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan berupa teknik judgment sampling, karena sampel ditentukan berdasarkan pertimbangan tujuan penelitian. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari 8 soal pilihan ganda dan 5 soal esai. Data dalam penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji Independent Sample t-Test (parametrik), karena sampel yang digunakan berdistribusi normal dan juga homogen. Hasil analisis data, diperoleh nilai thitung>ttabel (4,134>2,021) dengan taraf Signifikansi 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil uji Independent Sample t-Test, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan media Augmented Reality dengan siswa yang bealajar menggunakan media PowerPoint.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang motivasi belajar siswa SMA/Sederajat dalam pembelajaran daring serta aspek-aspek yang mempengaruhinya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode survei. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah convenience sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuesioner terbuka dan tertutup dalam bentuk Google Form. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) siswa memiliki rasa kemauan dan kesadaran yang tinggi untuk belajar dan menyelesaikan tugas selama pembelajaran daring, (2) tingkat motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran daring berada pada kategori tinggi, serta (3) aspek-aspek dominan yang memengaruhi tingkat motivasi belajar siswa adalah semangat belajar dan desain lingkungan belajar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by issues related to the low interest in learning among seventh-grade students at SMPN 1 Sekaran, caused by several factors, including monotonous teaching methods and a lack of attention in developing more engaging learning media suitable for the students' conditions. This research aims to develop an interactive learning application called CHEM-OWL and test its validity through expert assessment and its effectiveness in increasing students' interest in learning. The method in this research is Research & Development (R&D), which uses the 4D development model limited to the development stage. The results of the media validation obtained an average percentage value of 95.30% with very valid criteria. The material validation obtained a percentage of 94.37% with very valid criteria. The N-gain value of students' learning interest before and after being treated with the media was 0.57, which falls under the moderate category. Thus, the interactive learning application CHEM-OWL is suitable for use and effective in increasing students' interest in learning in science education on the topic of matter and its changes. The implications of this research indicate that using Android-based learning applications such as CHEM-OWL can be an innovative solution for teachers to support more engaging and interactive learning for students.

Abstract

Abstrak: Implementasi standar Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) di tempat kerja, khususnya di Bengkel Teknik Dan Bisnis Sepeda Motor, SMK Yapin Kertasemaya perlu dilaksanakan karena mengandung potensi bahaya tertentu. Berdasarkan hasil survei awal tersebut, maka diperlukan kegiatan yang bertujuan mengetahui potensi bahaya dari bengkel TBSM untuk selanjutnya dilakukan implementasi standar K3 di Bengkel tersebut serta memastikan keberlanjutannya melalui rencana dan laporan tindak lanjut. Implementasi standar K3 dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan yakni survei dan pendampingan untuk mengidentifikasi keterlaksanaan K3 berdasarkan indikator keterlaksanaannya yang berjumlah 8 indikator. Selanjutnya dilaksanakan acara workshop terkait pentingnya K3 serta manajemen K3 yang oleh seluruh pihak sekolah termasuk guru, siswa dan karyawan lain terutama yang terlibat di Bengkel yang berjumlah 50 orang. Evaluasi dilaksanakan dengan beberapa metode yakni melalui laporan tindak lanjut dari keterlaksanaan standar K3 dan juga survey kepuasan terkait kegiatan. Hasil dari workshop adalah implementasi dan tindak lanjut setelah workshop oleh pihak sekolah untuk diidentifikasi keterlaksanaan K3 di Bengkel. Berdasarkan hasil laporan tindak lanjut dan implementasi K3 di Bengkel, didapatkan bahwa Implementasi standar K3 di Bengkel TBSM SMK Yapin telah tercapai serta menunjukkan ketercapaian 8 indikator keterlaksanaan K3 dari yang sebelumnya hanya terlaksana 3 indikator saja. Selain itu juga hasil survei kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa 88% peserta merasa setuju terkait keberhasilan kegiatan ini.Abstract: Implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) standards in the workplace, especially in the Motorcycle Engineering and Business Workshop, Yapin Kertasemaya Vocational School needs to be implemented because it contains certain potential dangers. Based on the results of the initial survey, activities are needed that aim to determine the potential dangers of the TBSM workshop, then implement K3 standards in the workshop and ensure its sustainability through follow-up plans and reports. Implementation of K3 standards is carried out through several stages, namely surveys and assistance to identify K3 implementation based on 8 indicators of implementation. Furthermore, a workshop was held regarding the importance of K3 and K3 management by all school parties including teachers, students and other employees, especially those involved in the workshop, totaling 50 people. Evaluation is carried out using several methods, namely through follow-up reports on the implementation of K3 standards and also satisfaction surveys related to activities. The results of the workshop are implementation and follow-up after the workshop by the school to identify K3 implementation in the workshop. Based on the results of the follow-up report and implementation of K3 in the Workshop, it was found that the implementation of K3 standards in the TBSM SMK Yapin Workshop had been achieved and showed the achievement of 8 indicators of K3 implementation from previously only 3 indicators were achieved. Apart from that, the results of the activity survey showed that 88% of participants agreed regarding the success of this activity.

Abstract

Chemistry can be divided into two concepts: concrete concepts and defined concepts. The geometris of a molecule is one of the defining concepts, because ideas are at the molecular level and are invisible to the naked eye. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the effect of the TGT Puzzle cooperative learning strategy on the success of learning the material of molecular form. The purpose of this study was to determine whether learning achievement increased after learning the TGT Puzzle cooperative learning strategy in class X IPA MA Hidayatul Ummah Pringgoboyo. This study uses statistical inference technique using paired sample t-test to determine whether learning performance increases after learning with the TGT Puzzle cooperative learning strategy. The method of analysis used paired sample t-test with a significant difference (sig) <0.05. The results of this study indicate an increase in learning achievement after learning with the TGT Puzzle cooperative learning strategy.
