Abstract

In the globalization era, the fast-paced marketing competition is a challenge for micro businessmen to compete and survive. The rapid flow of technology and information development give an impact and also opens up the potential that can be utilized in developing micro-enterprises to expand marketing. E-marketing takes the role to make convenience both for sellers to offer their products, as well as for consumers to buy the desired product. E-marketing assistance for product marketing through Instagram social media is carried out to help micro-enterprises in Banjaragung Hamlet, Banjaragung Village, Jombang Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Qualitative descriptive is a type of research approach in which the results are described and explained in sentences. This product marketing assistance through Instagram social media was carried out to help micro-enterprises in Banjaragung Hamlet, Banjaragung Village, Jombang Regency. The result of this assistance is that micro businessmen have the skills to innovate in marketing products through Instagram social media, which is a trending platform and is widely used in Indonesia. Apart from being a promotional medium, the micro businessmen can also identify the consumer needs and see trends that can be used as the references for product variations.

Abstract

Micro Business has an important role for the nation's economy, especially to reduce the unemployment rate in Indonesia. The existence of Micro Business in Indonesia is proven to be able to create jobs and absorb labors. Therefore, Micro Business' players must understand good and systematic financial management so that the business can run smoothly and sustainably. For example: to have correct financial records in recording every financial transaction and be able to make financial reports needed to make decisions for the continuity of their business. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, which the subjects are five Micro Businesses in Banjaragung Village, Bareng District, Jombang Regency. The object of this research is a financial bookkeeping system that focuses on micro-enterprise cash bookkeeping. The result of the training and mentoring activities in making simple financial bookkeeping is that Micro Businessmen in Banjaragung Village can understand their income and expenses of respective businesses. The personal property must be distinguished from business assets. And at the end, Micro Businessmen can continuously apply simple financial bookkeeping for business activities on a daily basis. This activity can encourage businesses to grow and well developed.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada usaha mikro kecil menengah (UMKM) ini bertujuan mendampingi UMKM untuk menerbitkan Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB) melalui Onnline Single Submission (OSS). Metode kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah 2 tahap yaitu tahap pertama dengan melakukan survei dan pendataan UMKM seluruh Desa Bareng, dan tahap kedua dengan melakukan pendampingan (penyuluhan serta praktik) secara langsung dengan door to door pada setiap lokasi usaha pelaku UMKM. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 39 UMKM yang berhasil disurvei yang kemudian disaring berdasarkan kesedian untuk melakuan pendaftaran NIB dan didapatkan 10 UMKM secara aktif mulai dari tahap pertama yaitu survei dan pendataan hingga tahap kedua pendampingan NIB. Melalui kegiatan tersebut UMKM berhasil menerbitkan sertifikat NIB untuk usaha yang mereka jalankan.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the band gap width of the carbon phase produced from corncobs mixed with PEG-4000 to see the surface area of the corncob carbon phase. First, the characterization test was carried out using Scanning Electron Microscope Energy-Dispersive X-ray (SEM-EDX) spectroscopy to determine the morphology and Ultraviolet–Visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy to determine the band gap width of corncob carbon. Then, adding Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) 4000 at a specific concentration to develop the potential of corncob carbon. Finally, the corncob-PEG 4000 carbon reduction process was sifted through and tested by UV-Vis spectroscopy, and the energy gap value was 0.954 eV.DOI: 10.17977/um024v7i22022p142

Abstract

Self-confidence  Not everyone has good self-confidence. Therefore, it needs to be encouraged in several ways: through public speaking combined with personal branding. The purpose of this service was to develop public speaking and personal branding skills for student organization managers at SMA Dharma Wanita Surabaya through the PIKAT scheme. The training is divided into two; offline and online. The training program is carried out by carrying out counseling on public speaking and personal branding based on theories in communication. The second activity is to train public speaking and personal branding where the participants can practice their public speaking skills. Monitoring after mentoring and training activities is still carried out. At the end of the program, there are four outputs/recommendations, training modules, activity news, and community service journals. It can be concluded that this activity encourages the development of public speaking and personal branding skills for student organization managers at SMA Dharma Wanita Surabaya.

Abstract

The rapid development of the tourism sector has encouraged all regions to highlight the tourism potential in their respective regions. Likewise with Galengdowo Village which has tourism potential, as well as its existence in the world and the natural beauty and activities of its own citizens, gardening in salak gardens, and doing activities on earth which are used as educational tours. Tourism in Galengdowo Village has succeeded in inserting the concept of learning into its tour. Tourists who come not only take pictures and enjoy the natural beauty in the earth's area but can also learn how to milk cows and know the science and benefits of salak fruit. All educational tourism activities in Galengdowo Village cannot be separated from the role of the Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS) which is the main driver of educational tourism managed by the local community itself.

Abstract

Coffee is a leading commodity in Jombang Regency. One of these coffee varieties is Excelsa Coffee. The main obstacle for coffee farmers and traders in Sumberjo Village is the processing of excelsa coffee which is quite complicated. The Grant Program for Application of Research Results for the Community (PIHAT) aims to foster community groups KOPI GUNUNG in Sumberjo Village, Wonosalam District, Jombang Regency to have knowledge and skills in coffee plant care and digital marketing. The results of the identification of the problem of Pokmas KOPI GUNUNG as a partner, the PIHAT team provides solutions in the form of a) Increasing knowledge and skills in caring for coffee plants, b) Improving the quality of new labels and packaging, c) Creating Instagram accounts and making marketing support profile videos, and d) Digital marketing training. After partners gain knowledge and skills in caring for coffee plants, knowledge of digital marketing skills, and producing coffee product packaging, the goal of implementing this PIHAT program is to increase sales of coffee products from the KOPI GUNUNG community group with the brand and packaging "Cakra Dewa." In addition to articles in community service journals, PIHAT's outputs are the Profile Video, news, and Instagram accounts. Kopi merupakan komoditas unggulan Kabupaten Jombang. Salah satu varietas kopi tersebut adalah Kopi Excelsa. Kendala utama bagi petani dan pedagang kopi di Desa Sumberjo adalah perawatan kopi excelsa yang cukup rumit. Program Hibah Penerapan Hasil Penelitian Bagi Masyarakat (PIHAT) bertujuan untuk membina kelompok masyarakat KOPI GUNUNG di Desa Sumberjo, Kecamatan Wonosalam, Kabupaten Jombang agar memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam perawatan tanaman kopi dan pemasaran digital. Hasil identifikasi masalah Pokmas KOPI GUNUNG sebagai mitra, maka tim PIHAT memberikan solusi berupa: a) Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam merawat tanaman kopi, b) Meningkatkan kualitas label dan kemasan baru, c) Membuat akun Instagram dan membuat video profil penunjang pemasaran, dan d) Pelatihan pemasaran digital. Setelah mitra mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam merawat tanaman kopi, pengetahuan keterampilan digital marketing, dan memproduksi kemasan produk kopi, maka sasaran akhir dari pelaksanaan program PIHAT ini adalah meningkatkan penjualan produk kopi dari kelompok masyarakat KOPI GUNUNG dengan brand dan kemasan “Cakra Dewa.” Selain artikel pada jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarakat, luaran PIHAT ini adalah Video Profil, Berita, dan akun Instagram.
