Abstract

Cervical cancer is a cancer that occurs in the cervix, which is the area of the female reproductive organ which is the entrance to the uterus, located between the uterus (uterus) and the female intercourse (vagina). The incidence of cervical cancer can be detected by the method of Visual Inspection of Acetic Acid (IVA), the IVA examination aims to find pre-cancerous cervical lesions before they become cancerous. The research objective is to know the factors associated with IVA examination in fertile-aged women couples in the work area of Karya Tani Labuhan Maringgai Health Center, East Lampung Regency in 2021.This type of quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The population of this study were all WUS III with a sample of 98 respondents. the object of this research is the IVA examination. The research was conducted in the work area of Karya Tani Labuhan Maringgai Community Health Center, East Lampung Regency in April 2021. Data collection used a questionnaire. Univariate and bivariate (chi square) data analysis. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and IVA examination in the work area of the Karya Tani Labuhan Maringgai Community Health Center in East Lampung Regency in 2021 (p-value = 0.018, OR = 6,000). There is a socio-cultural relationship to IVA examination in the work area of Karya Tani Labuhan Maringgai Health Center, East Lampung Regency in 2021 (p-value = 0.002, OR = 7.333). There is a relationship between family / husband support for IVA examination in the work area of the Karya Tani Labuhan Maringgai Community Health Center, East Lampung Regency in 2021 (p-value 0.004, OR = 5.760). There is no relationship between health care workers' support for IVA examinations in the work area of Karya Tani Labuhan Maringgai Community Health Center, East Lampung Regency in 2021 (p-value = 0.383). Suggestions to IVA officers are expected to take a personal approach to women of reproductive age couples so that they want to do IVA examinations

Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2. Based on data from the Lampung Provincial Health Office (2020), four patients who are pregnant have been confirmed positive for COVID-19. At Gilang Tunggal Makarta Public Health Center of West Tulangbawang Regency (2020) there is 1 pregnant woman aged 22 years old and who has a history of having travelled from DKI Jakarta to be confirmed positive for COVID-19. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between knowledge and pregnant women attitudes with covid-19 prevention behaviours on new habits adaptation in the working area of Gilang Tunggal Makarta Public Health Center West TulangBawang Regency in 2021. This type of research is quantitative by applying an analytic research design with a cross-sectional approach, the population is all pregnant women as many as 34 people, the total sample size from the population. Univariate data analysis used a percentage frequency distribution and bivariate used the chi-square test. The research result showed that the frequency distribution of pregnant women knowledge was higher in the unfavourable category as many 20 people (58.8%), the pregnant women attitude were higher in the negative category as many as 19 people (55.9%) and the prevention behaviour of COVID-19 was higher in the unfavourable category amounted to 21 people (61.8%). The results of the chi-square test showed a correlation between knowledge (p-value = 0.000 0.05) and behavior (p-value = 0.001 0.05) with COVID-19 prevention behavior on new habits adaptation. It is hoped that health workers will be more active in socializing COVID-19 prevention behaviour through direct counselling on demonstration methods accompanied by discussion using leaflets or brochures using interesting pictures and writing also using simple language.

Abstract

If a baby is not given exclusive breastfeeding, it has a bad impact on the baby. The highest coverage for infants aged 0–6 months who received exclusive breastfeeding according to the district / city level in the province of Lampung in 2018 was Pringsewu Regency, namely 78.91%, while for Bandar Lampung City it reached 69.53%. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Torbangun leaf extract on breast milk production in post-partum mothers in the State Batin Community Health Center, Kota Agung Barat District, Tanggamus Regency in 2021. This research is a quantitative study with a Quasi-experimental research design. The object of the research was the post-partum mother in the Inner State Health Center. The data was collected using an observation sheet. The subject of this research is the production of breast milk for post-partum mothers. This research was conducted in February 2021 in the State Batin Health Center, Kota Agung Barat District, Tanggamus Regency. The results showed that the average breastmilk production in postpartum mothers before being given Torbangun Leaf Extract in the State Batin Community Health Center, Kota Agung Barat District, Tanggamus Regency in 2020 was 2.133 and after was 55.800. It is known that the average milk production in postpartum mothers after being given Torbangun leaf extract in the State Batin Health Center, Kota Agung Barat District, Tanggamus Regency in 2021 is 2.067 and after is 41.933. There is an effect of Torbangun leaf extract on breast milk production in post-partum mothers in the area of Negara Batin Health Center, Kota Agung Barat District, Tanggamus Regency in 2020 (p-value 0,000). There in’t an effect of Torbangun leaf extract on breast milk production in post-partum mothers in the area of Negara Batin Health Center, Kota Agung Barat District, Tanggamus Regency in 2020 (p-value 0,647). Suggestions Can provide input information to the public about the effect of giving the leaves extract of wakes (coleus ambonicus lour) on postpartum maternal breastfeeding.
