Abstract

AbstrakProgram Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat melalui kemitraan masyarakat dilaksanakan  dalam rangka mendukung program nasional dalam peningkatan sumberdaya manusia melalui pendidikan kejuruan. Mitra merupakan Desa yang berada di Kabupaten TTS, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur. Kegiatan PkM berlangsung selama 10 (enam) bulan dengan keterlibatan 3 (tiga) dosen dan 5 (lima) mahasiswa. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan masyarakat memiliki ketrampilan untuk dapat menggunakan sistem kontrol keamana AWG dan sistem monitoring berasis IoT. Kegiatan ini disampaing meningkatkan ketrampilan dan pengetahuan dalam berbagai sistem kontrol di industri. Metode yang akan dilaksanakan pada PKM ini meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, monitoring dan evaluasi, serta penyusunan laporan. Persiapan yang akan dilakukan meliputi  observasi,  survey  lokasi,  dan  penyampaian  masalah  serta  solusi  yang  akan ditempuh dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan. Pelaksanaan berupa perancangan alat, ujicoba alat, peningkatan kapasitas mitra melalui pelatihan dan pelatihan penggunaan alat, pendampingan dalam pemeliharaan alat, tahap monitoring oleh tim pelaksana dan evaluasi pelaksanaan program.   Kata kunci: sistem keamanan; IoT; AWG, Website. Abstract The Community Service Program through community partnerships is carried out in order to support the national program in improving human resources through vocational education. The preparations that will be carried out include observation, location surveys, and submission of problems and solutions that will be taken in the implementation of activities. The implementation is in the form of tool design, tool testing, partner capacity building through training and training in the use of tools, assistance in tool maintenance, monitoring stages by the implementation team and evaluation of program implementation. Abstract

ABSTRACT Cassava is one of the agricultural commodities spread across most parts of Indonesia, especially in the province of NTT. The abundant potential makes cassava a staple food for the people of East Nusa Tenggara. UD. ML is a company that produces and markets cassava chips to meet the needs of the people of Kupang and its surroundings. During the cassava chips production process, the tools used are still using manual choppers with human power, so that it can cause defective products to be produced, such as errors in cutting that are not too thin or thick and the pieces are destroyed because they are too thin and worker fatigue when chopping cassava . The research method used in this study is the experimental method, observation and literature study. From the test results, it was found that the chopping capacity at blade setting A was 660 grams, knife B was 740 grams, and knife C was 800 grams, with a thickness of 1-3mm.

Abstract

In this increasingly developing era, the manufacturing industry is experiencing very rapid development. The need for materials in this field is also increasing. Materials with certain characteristics such as strength, toughness, and other mechanical properties according to needs are highly sought after. Composite is a material formed from a combination of two or more constituent materials through a non-homogeneous mixture, where the mechanical properties of each constituent material are different, the use of composite materials properly and efficiently requires extensive knowledge of their mechanical properties. While the use of ijuk is still limited to household needs, even exported in raw material conditions, therefore the use of ijuk as a basic material for composites is a new hope for utilizing ijuk into a commodity that has higher added value. The results of the study on the Testing of Ijuk Fiber Mechanics Pre Treatmeat Naoh With Polyester Matrix Material concluded that concentration affects the bending strength of 9.44 N / mm2 and deflection of 37.94 mm of ijuk fiber with the best results at a concentration with a soaking time of 60 minutes.

Abstract

The Community Service Program through community partnerships is implemented to support national programs in improving the community's economy and efforts to prevent stunting and by increasing chicken farming businesses through the use of egg hatching incubator. Mitra is a community consisting of 20 (twenty) people and is part of the "Safe Smala" livestock farming group in Oelbubuk Village, Central Molo District, South Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. PkM activities will last for 6 (six) months with the involvement of 3 (three) lecturers and 3 (three) students. Through this activity, it is hoped that the community will have the skills to be able to use chicken egg-hatching incubators and the efficiency of successful egg-hatching will increase. The methods that will be implemented in this PKM include the preparation stages, implementation of activities, monitoring and evaluation, and preparation of reports. Preparations that will be made include observation, location surveys, and conveying the problems and solutions that will be taken in implementing the activity. Implementation takes the form of designing tools, testing tools, increasing the capacity of partners through training and use of tools, assistance in maintaining tools, monitoring stages by the implementing team and evaluating program implementation. The expected outputs from this PKM activity include achieving program target outputs, and output achievement targets in the form of publication of activity results in national journals and at scientific meetings. Abstract

Pelaksanaan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) dalam rangka mendorong peningkatan usaha budidaya produksi tanaman hortikultura di Desa Naob, Kecamatan Noemuti Timur, Kabupaten Timur Tengah Utara.Kegiatan aplikasi teknologi Sistem Irigasi Tetes (SIT)dalam kebun Hortikultura dan teknis budidaya tanaman hortikultura. Kegiatan ini melibatkan lima orang Mahasiswa dari prodi Teknik Mesin dalam kegiatan magang terintegrasi dan program KKN tematik Undana periode semester Genap tahun 2022/2023. Aplikasi irigasi tetes pada lokasi mitra dengan luas lahan 500 m2 (ukuran 25 m x 20 m). Bedengan dibuat dalam 15 baris bedengan dengan ukuran masing-masing 25 m x 0,7 m, jarak antar bedengan 60 cm. Sistem irigasi tetes ini menggunakan sistem pompa dari sumber bak air kemudian dialirkan secara gravitasi ke bedengan. Sebelum air dialirkan ke tanaman, terlebih dulu melalui filter air irigasi tipe Y disk, venturi injector pupuk, pipa utama (PVC 1,0 inch), pipa pembagi (PVC 0,75 inch) dan selang drip (0,75 inch) serta selang piping (17 mm).

Abstract

Pelaksanaan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) dalam rangka mendorong peningkatan usaha budidaya produksi tanaman hortikultura di desa Bea Kakor, kecamatan Ruteng, kabupaten Manggarai, di propinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur, dilakukan dengan teknologi Sistem Irigasi Tetes (SIT) dalam kebun green house melalui pelaksanaan PKM Undana yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei–Juli tahun 2023. Kegiatan ini juga melibatkan Mahasiswa (6 orang dari prodi Teknik Mesin dan 1 orang dari prodi Agrobisnis) dalam kegiatan magang terintegrasi dan program KKN tematik Undana periode semester Genap tahun 2022/2023. Sistem irigasi tetes yang diaplikasikan menggunakan sistem gravitasi dimana air dari sumber dipompa ke tower penampung (1100 liter) kemudian dialirkan secara gravitasi ke setiap lajur tanaman, terdapat 6 lajur dengan panjang per lajur 5 m dengan jarak tanaman 0,3 m, sehingga terdapat 96 pohon tanaman yang ada dalam green house. Namun sebelumnya dialirkan melalui filter air irigasi tipe Y disk, venturi injector pupuk, pipa utama (PVC 1 inch), pipa pembagi (PVC 0,75 inch) dan selang drip (0,75 inch) serta selang piping (17 mm) ke setiap pohon (tanaman).

Abstract

Abstract - This community partnership program aims to empower groups of weaving craftsmen in Sabu Tenun Village so that they can develop their business. The development carried out is from the aspects of business management and marketing. Partners in this Community Partnership program are the Kampung Sabu Weaving Group. The implementation team provides training to partners on business management and online product marketing. It is hoped that through this activity partners can have an entrepreneurial spirit and can carry out the marketing process online. This is so that the woven products produced can have a wider market, not only on display in galleries. The targeted output is that partners know better-organized marketing and management processes so that productivity increases. Abstrak – Program kemitraan masyarakat ini bertujuan melakukan pemberdayaan kepada kelompok pengrajin tenun di Kampung Tenun Sabu agar dapat mengembangkan usahanya. Pengembangan yang dilakukan adalah dari aspek manajemen usaha dan pemasaran. Mitra dalam program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini adalah Kelompok Tenun Kampung Sabu. Tim Pelaksana memberikan pelatihan kepada mitra tentang manajemen usaha dan pemasaran produk secara online. Diharapkan lewat kegiatan ini mitradapat memiliki jiwa kewirausahaan dan dapat melakukan proses pemasaran secara onlne. Hal ini bertujuan agar produk tenunan yang dihasilkan dapat memliki pasar yang lebih luas, tidak hanya dipajang di galeri. Abstract

Abstrak Masyarakat Kelurahan Oepura, Kota Kupang, NTT selama ini mempunyai usaha ternak babi yang menghasilkan limbah cair dan padat. Selama inimasyarakatbelummemanfaatkanlimbah ternakbabi sebagaibahandasarpupukkompos.Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kali ini yaitu untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada mitra baagaimana membuat pupuk kompos dari kotoran babi berbasis eco enzyme. Kegiatan Pengabdian diadakan pada bulan Agustus Tahun 2023, bertempat di pekarangan warga yang memiliki ternak babi. Metode pengabdian dilakukan dengan sosialisasi, penyuluhan, pelatihan dan pendampingan tentang pengolahan limbah kotoran ternak, Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu mitra sudah dapat membuat pupuk kompos berbasis eco enzyme secara mandiri dan mengaplikasikan penggunaan pupuk tersebut di tanaman. Kata kunci: pupuk kompos; limah ternak; eco enzyme. Abstract The people of Oepura Village, Kupang City, NTT have had a pig farming business which produces liquid and solid waste. So far, people have not used pig waste as a basic ingredient for compost fertilizer. The aim of this service activity is to provide knowledge to partners on how to make eco enzyme-based compost fertilizer. The service activity will be held in August 2023, taking place in the yards of residents who have pigs. The service method is carried out through socialization, counseling, training and mentoring regarding livestock manure waste processing. Abstract

AbstrakKelurahan Sikumana terletak di Kecamatan Maulafa, luas wilayahnya 336 Ha, berbatasan dengan kelurahan Belo (Sebelah Timur), kelurahan Batuplat (Sebelah Barat), kelurahan Naikolan dan kelurahan Oepura (Sebelah Utara) dan Kelurahan Fatukoa (Sebelah Selatan). Penduduknya heterogen dengan beragam suku dan mayoritas penduduk berasal dari Toraja, Rote, Sabu, Flores, Sumba, Timor, Jawa dan suku-suku lainnya, berjumlah 21.073 jiwa dengan 4.172 KK. Dalam hal pengelolaan sampah, masyarakat Sikumana belum maksimal. Sampah rumah tangga hanya dikumpulkan dan dibuang di kontainer sampah yang disiapkan pemerintah di tepi jalan, kemudian diangkut truk sampah setiap hari. Masih terdapat masyarakat yang membakar sampah dikarenakan letak tempat sampah jauh dari pemukiman mereka, terdeteksi sebagian masyarakat yang membuang sampah di kali yang ada di kelurahan mereka. Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan melakukan pelatihan teknologi dan manajemen pengolahan sampah, terkhusus sampah organik dan sampah plastik. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini melalui tahapan penyajian hasil penerapan teknologi pengolahan sampah dan manajemen pengolahannya, dalam hal ini pembuatan Eco Enzyme untuk sampah organik dan pengenalan serta penerapan Bank Sampah kepada masyarakat Sikumana. Harapannya menjadikan sampah mereka bernilai ekonomis yang menambah pemasukan keluarga. Pengabdian ini menjadi wadah dalam membantu masyarakat dan pemerintah setempat dalam mengelola sampah berbasis komunitas secara bijaksana dan mengurangi kuantitas sampah yang diangkut dan menumpuk di Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA). Hasil pre test dan post test peserta kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan. Rerata nilai pre-test peserta yang dilakukan sebelum kegiatan pengabdian sebesar 65 dan rerata nilai post-test peserta yang dilakukan setelah pemberian materi dan praktik, meningkat menjadi 88,67. This service is a forum for helping the community and local government in managing community-based waste wisely and reducing the quantity of waste transported and piling up at the Final Disposal Site (TPA). The pre-test and post-test results of service activity participants showed a significant increase. The average pre-test score of participants carried out before service activities was 65 and the average post-test score of participants carried out after providing material and practice increased to 88.67. Abstract

Air adalah salah satu Sumber Daya Alam (SDA) yang dapat dimanfaatkan energinya, sehingga dari semula hanya memiliki energi potensial dapat diubah menjadi energi kinetik, dimana energi kinetik tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi energi mekanis pada sistem kerja turbin, dan kondisi debit air sangat mempengaruhi daya turbin, oleh karena itu penelitian ini memvariasikan ketinggian reservoir untuk merubah besar debit air dan mengamati pengaruhnya terhadap daya turbin air impuls dengan sudu bolak-balik. Reservoir yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini memiliki volume 0,2 m3, dan diameter saluran keluarnya adalah 0,055 m, sedangkan turbin airnya memiliki diameter 0,18 m dengan jenis impuls yang sudunya bolak-balik. Pada ketinggian reservoir 0 m, debit airnya adalah 0,008m3/s dan menghasilkan daya sebesar 37,040 W, sedangkan saat ketinggian reservoir dinaikkan pada 0,40 m daya yang dihasilkan turbin juga semakin meningkat menjadi 92,236 W. Ketika tinggi reservoir dinaikkan hingga 0,89 m, daya turbin adalah 192,987 W, kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa tinggi reservoir berbanding lurus dengan daya turbin, sehingga jika reservoir semakin tinggi maka daya turbin juga semakin bertambah.
