Abstract

Background: Clinical reasoning (CR) is essential for all doctors, enabling them to manage patient problems effectively. Poor CR ability can lead to medical errors. The medical study program at the Faculty of Medicine and Health, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta (MP-UMJ), has introduced an innovative CR learning method, Clinical Reasoning in Large Class (CRILC). However, there is a lack of research on the perceptions of MP-UMJ students regarding this learning method. Therefore, this study aims to investigate and present the perceptions of MP-UMJ medical students regarding CRILC. Methods: This research used a mixed method with a concurrent study design. The research was conducted in October-November 2023 among students of the Medical Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta. Secondary data obtained from the student questionnaire survey regarding the CRILC evaluation held by the lecturer in charge of the block is used in this research. A total of 100 sample answers were taken for analysis. Quantitative data was processed using SPSS and NVivo12 for the qualitative data. Results: The study revealed a positive perception among MP-UMJ medical students towards CRILC, highlighting its effectiveness and potential for broader adoption. Positive perception was obtained regarding students' impressions and benefits after participating in CRILC. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is the method that most helps students participate in CRILC. Determining patient assessment is the most frequently experienced difficulty during CRILC. Most students think that the CRILC method has been implemented well. Conclusion: MP-UMJ medical students have a positive perception of the CRILC.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Split Plot yang terdiri dari dua faktor dan 3 ulangan. Dua faktor tersebut yaitu aplikasi pemupukan (A) sebagai petak utama dan faktor kedua jenis pupuk Si (M) . Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan Analisis Of Varian (ANOVA), jika hasil perlakuan menunjukkan berpengaruh nyata, maka dilanjutkan uji lanjutan dengan Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) taraf 5%. Variabel pengamatan diantaranya tinggi tanaman (cm), Laju pertumbuhan, sudut daun, serangan FAW, dan serangan OPT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan aplikasi pupuk Si dengan metode aplikasi yang berbeda mampu menurunkan tingkat serang OPT pada tanaman jagung serta meningkatkan ketahanan tanaman jagung terhadap hama dan penyakit yang menyerang tanaman.

Abstract

Lack of proficiency in badminton backhand shots was the driving force behind this study. Through analysis during the initial observation, the researcher found that there were still training patterns that had yet to be considered so that they were more reproduced in games. There was no variety of exercises applied. Therefore, researchers researched to determine the effect of the drill training method on badminton backhand shot skills. This type of research is quantitative research using the "pre-experimental design" research method, namely One-Group et al. The population in this study were all PB—Sarma Pangkalpinang athletes, totaling 20 people. The sample in this study was all members of the population. The data analysis technique in this study uses normality tests and hypothesis testing. The count value of 18.728 is higher than the t table value of 1.729, which means that Ho is not true and Ha is true. This means that the study titled "The Effect of the Drill Training Method on Badminton Backhand Hit Skills at Club PB. Sarma Pangkalpinang" has a significant effect.

Abstract

Physical fitness is the body’s ability to carry out daily activities without feeling excessive fatigue. So, someone with good physical fitness will always have enough energy to carry out physical activities smoothly. Improving physical fitness can be helped with several games, one of which is traditional games. By providing traditional games, including GalahAsin, UcingBaledog, Jump Rope and Oray-Orayan, elementary school students could improve their physical fitness. The aim was to determine the effect of traditional games on improving the physical fitness of class VI students. This research used an experimental method using a One-Group Pretest-Posttest research design with a research population of 30 Class V students using a saturated sampling technique including 14 male and 16 female students. The research instrument that the author used was the TKJI test. With the research results, the magnitude of the effect between the pre-test and the post-test was 0.593, x 100% = 59.3%. This shows that each participant was able to show an increase of 59.3% from the pre-test results to the post-test. This means that traditional games can increase the physical fitness of each participant by 59.3%. So, it can be concluded that traditional games have an influence on the physical fitness of class VI students. So, the use of traditional games was suitable for improving the physical fitness of class VI students at State Elementary School 70 Palembang.

Abstract

Kebijakan pembelajaran jarak jauh menggunakan konferensi virtual secara daring, menyebabkan tingginya tingkat paparan konferensi virtual sebagai media belajar mahasiswa. Hal ini berisiko munculnya kelainan musculoskeletal pada mahasiswa. Diketahuinya hubungan paparan konferensi virtual selama pembelajaran di masa pandemi COVID-19 dengan kejadian Musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) pada mahasiswa fakultas kedokteran. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian analitik dan pendekatan Cross Sectional dengan mahasiswa PSKd FKK UMJ 2017, 2018, 2019, dan 2020 sebagai subjek penelitian. Alat ukur pada penelitian ini yaitu kuesioner Nordic Body Map (NBM) dan kuesioner tentang paparan konferensi virtual yang disusun oleh peneliti. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan November 2020. Dalam penelitian ini didapatkan hubungan bermakna antara lama paparan konferensi virtual responden dengan kejadian MSD pada mahasiswa PSKd FKK UMJ dengan nilai p value = 0,044 (nilai p kurang dari α). Penelitian ini menunjukan sebagian besar mahasiswa PSKd FKK UMJ pernah mengalami keluhan MSD selama pembelajaran menggunakan konferensi virtual serta didapatkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara paparan konferensi virtual dengan kejadian MSD.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the difficulties of elementary school students in learning physical education and the students' low interest in learning basic movements. This is due to the lack of teacher innovation in providing learning materials and children's locomotor skills are just developing. This research aimed to develop GBL-based basic movements in big ball. The model in this research is the development research model from Borg & Gall. A small-scale trial was carried out on 40 students and one physical education teacher at SDN 4 Pangkalanbaru. Large-scale trials were carried out on 60 students and two physical education teachers students in Pulau Besar. Data collection instruments used questionnaires and observation sheets. Data analysis techniques are descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The basic movements developed include dribbling techniques, passing the ball, stopping the ball and shooting. The product validation results showed an average of 79.7% which met the good criteria, while the game validation results obtained 100%. The eligibility criteria for this product are 99.6% in small-scale tests and 99.5% in large-scale tests. Thus, it can be concluded that this research has produced a GBL-based basic movement for learning big balls for elementary school students which is packaged in the form of an animated video tutorial.

Abstract

Current learning requires students to be more interactive and utilize technology in the learning process. Achieving learning goals using technology can be developed by combining learning models and methods, one of which is problem-based learning implemented in projects. The aim of this research is to develop a problem-based Physics Interactive Learning Module (ILM) implemented in a project using a flipbook for students' creative thinking abilities. This research uses the development method with the ADDIE model. The instrument used to measure the level of validity of the instrument uses validation sheets from material and media experts. Meanwhile, the instrument used to measure creative thinking abilities uses an observation sheet. The validation results obtained by material experts and material experts were an average of 83.51% with very valid criteria. The product is then tested to see its effectiveness on creative thinking abilities. The results of the paired sample t test show a significance value of less than 0.05, so it is concluded that there is an influence of the use of ILM on creative thinking.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk anorganik NPK dan pupuk organik cair (POC) guano terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman pare (Momordica charantia L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Karangrejo, Kecamatan Sumbersari, Kabupaten Jember, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial dengan dua faktor, yaitu dosis pupuk NPK (0, 10, 15, dan 20 g/tanaman) serta dosis POC guano (0, 100, 150, dan 200 ml/liter per tanaman) dengan tiga ulangan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah cabang, umur berbunga, persentase bunga menjadi buah, panjang buah, berat basah dan kering buah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk NPK berpengaruh nyata hingga sangat nyata terhadap beberapa parameter pertumbuhan dan produksi, terutama pada perlakuan N3 (20 g/tanaman) yang menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan produksi terbaik. Pemberian POC guano juga berpengaruh nyata hingga sangat nyata terhadap sebagian besar parameter, dengan perlakuan G3 (200 ml/liter) memberikan hasil terbaik. Interaksi antara pupuk NPK dan POC guano tidak berpengaruh nyata pada sebagian besar parameter, namun kombinasi perlakuan N3G3 menghasilkan respon terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman pare. Dengan demikian, penggunaan pupuk NPK dosis 20 g/tanaman dan POC guano 200 ml/liter merupakan kombinasi yang direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman pare.
