Abstract

This study examines the social readiness of women beneficiaries transitioning from conditional cash assistance under the Family Hope Program (PKH) to productive entrepreneurship through the Indonesian Archipelago Economic Heroes Program (PENA) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, the study involved ten women beneficiaries selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis and were analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña’s interactive model and Creswell’s horizonalization technique. The findings reveal that social readiness is ambivalent and manifested across four interconnected dimensions: emotive-attitudinal, cognitive, behavioral, and aspirational readiness. Social accompaniment helped transform transitional anxiety into achievement motivation, although cognitive readiness remained limited by low micro-financial literacy. Women demonstrated strong work resilience, but their behavioral readiness was constrained by the double burden and unequal distribution of domestic labor. The beneficiaries also expressed a need for continued technical assistance and more accessible financing. Feminist social work analysis confirms that these limitations are shaped more by time poverty and patriarchal inequalities than by individual shortcomings.

Abstract

Women who simultaneously assume dual roles as employees and household managers face complex social and structural pressures, particularly in urban areas such as Dago Subdistrict, Bandung City. Spousal social support serves as a crucial factor in sustaining the continuity of these dual roles. This study aims to identify the forms and intensity of social support provided by husbands to their wives within the context of dual-role management. A descriptive survey was conducted involving 50 married working women, selected through a two-stage cluster random sampling technique across five neighborhood units (RW), complemented by in-depth interviews with five husband–wife pairs using purposive sampling. The findings indicate that most husbands provide a high level of social support, encompassing emotional, instrumental, informational, and appraisal dimensions. Such support plays a significant role in reducing role conflict, strengthening psychological resilience, and enhancing women’s adaptive capacity in balancing domestic and public responsibilities. In conclusion, the active involvement of husbands reflects a shift toward a more egalitarian household partnership model, contributing to well-being and fostering family resilience.

Abstract

Stunting and the low quality of child parenting remain major challenges in family development in rural areas, particularly due to limited access to information, low health literacy, and the persistence of traditional parenting practices. This condition was also identified in Sukaraja Village, Kuningan Regency, where many families still had limited understanding regarding stunting prevention and responsive child parenting. This community service program aimed to develop a community-based model for strengthening women’s and family capacities through a participatory approach to support stunting prevention and child parenting improvement. The program was implemented in RW 01 of Sukaraja Village in August 2025 using the Participatory Technology Development (PTD) approach. The implementation methods included coordination with village authorities and posyandu cadres, participatory assessment through Focus Group Discussion (FGD), community-based intervention planning, educational and training activities, and monitoring through cadre assistance. The results showed an increase in participants’ understanding of the importance of the First 1,000 Days of Life, responsive parenting practices, nutritional fulfillment, sanitation, and stunting prevention. Participants also began applying positive communication patterns in child parenting and utilizing local food resources as affordable nutritional alternatives for families. This program demonstrates that a community-based participatory approach can strengthen the capacities of women and families in creating a healthy, responsive, and sustainable parenting environment as part of local efforts to accelerate stunting reduction.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to develop the RESIMAFRO Reporting System Technology (Results Based Management in Organizational Information Systems) at Yayasan Amal Produktif Indonesia, Bandung. The study was motivated by reporting practices that remained focused on administrative and financial aspects, lacked systematic documentation of program outputs, outcomes, and impacts, and were not integrated into the organizational information system. A qualitative method with a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model was employed, involving foundation managers, program implementers, social workers, and relevant stakeholders. The research stages included reflection on the existing system, needs assessment, system design, implementation, evaluation, and refinement of the final design. The findings indicate that RESIMAFRO integrates results based reporting, monitoring, and evaluation through input, output, outcome, impact, performance indicators, and information dashboards that support organizational. The system improves program documentation, transparency, accountability, data accessibility, and the utilization of information for continuous program improvement. This study produces a results based reporting system design integrated with an organizational information system that can serve as a model for strengthening governance in humanitarian service organizations.
