Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis korelasi antara Status gizi dan konsumsi Fast Food dengan kejadian Dismenorea pada mahasiswi Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik. Penelitian ini melibatkan 84 siswi yang dipilih dengan menggunakan pendekatan Stratified Random Sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Alat ukur mikrotoe (tinggi badan) dan timbangan (berat badan) digunakan untuk memantau status gizi dengan teknik recall dan Food Frekwensi Questionnaires (FFQ). Kesimpulan: Nilai p-value penelitian untuk korelasi status gizi dengan dismenore sebesar 0,226, dan nilai p-value untuk asupan energi (0,306 > 0,05), asupan protein (0,454 > 0,05), asupan lemak (0,608 > 0,05), dan asupan energi. asupan (0,826 > 0,05) untuk konsumsi makanan cepat saji semuanya lebih besar dari 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada mahasiswi Fakultas Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik, baik status gizi maupun asupan makanan cepat saji tidak berhubungan secara signifikan dengan frekuensi dismenore.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Buah Siwalan (Borassus flabellifer Linn.) salah satu tumbuhan penghasil buah dan getah pohonnya pun dapat dimanfaatkan yang disebut air legen. Sebagai bahan pangan lokal di wilayah Tuban dan Gresik, memiliki potensi dengan kandungan zat gizi antara lain total karbohidrat, vitamin A, asam askorbat, kalsium, fosfor, dan sebagian besar kandungannya adalah air. Pada buah siwalan tua belum dimanfaatkan secara baik untuk sumber bahan pangan. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan penelitian terhadap proses produksi tepung siwalan dengan proses pemanasan yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan daya tahan simpan dan memudahkan proses inovasi menjadi produk makanan. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui perbedaan karbohidrat, kadar abu, kalsium, fosfor dan aktivitas antioksidan (DPPH). Metode: Variabel bebas (perlakuan) adalah asal buah siwalan (buah siwalan Tuban dan siwalan Gresik. Analisis data dengan tes T Independen digunakan untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara kadar total karbohidrat, abu, kalsium, fosfor, dan aktivitas antioksidan pada tepung siwalan tuban dan Gresik. Hasil: Kadar karbohidrat menunjukkan signifikasi p>0,05 (p=0,155) dan tepung siwalan Gresik p>0,05 (p = 0,222), sedangkan kadar abu, kadar kalsium, kadar fosfor dan aktivitas antioksidan antara tepung siwalan Tuban dan tepung siwalan Gresik menunjukkan nilai signifikasi yang sama yaitu p<0,05 (p = 0,000). Kesimpulan: Daerah asal buah siwalan tidak mempengaruhi kadar karbohidrat tepung siwalan, namun ada perbedaan kadar abu, kadar kalsium, kadar fosfor, dan aktivitas antioksidan pada tepung siwalan. Tepung siwalan menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk memanfaatkan buah siwalan tua. Tepung siwalan dapat digunakan untuk formulasi produk makanan dalam meningkatkan kandungan karbohidrat, mineral khususnya kalsium.

Abstract

Anemia is a disease in which the hemoglobin (Hb) level within the blood is lower than ordinary and shifts concurring to age bunch, sex and physiological condition. For adolescent girls (rematri) anemia is considered if Hb <12 gr/dl. This study was to evaluate the success of the anemia prevalence reduction program in Lamongan district Method: The type of research used was quantitative descriptive with a survey research design. The population used in this study were all female adolescent students in grades 7 and 10 in the working area of the Lamongan Regency Health Center. Data collection was carried out by administering questionnaires and examining hemoglobin levels. The data obtained will be analyzed descriptively to determine the characteristics of the sample and presented in the form of frequency distribution and percentage. The results showed that the majority of female adolescents had received iron supplement tablets (TTD) (80.18%), but only 73.29% consumed them according to recommendations. Most female students in grades 7 (90.13%) and 10 (93.05%) had been screened for anemia. The prevalence of anemia in 7th grade female students was 18.68% and 10th grade female students was 18.22%. Conclusions: The FERRAMEG program (FE Hari Rabu Megilan) in the working area of the Lamongan Regency Health Center is considered to have an influence in reducing the prevalence of anemia in female adolescents, indicated by the increasing number of adolescents who consume iron supplement tablets and the number of anemia in adolescents in grades 7 and 10, the majority of whom do not experience anemia and the number of female adolescents who have received screening for anemia.

Abstract

Pregnant women with CED risk can cause decreased muscle capacity that supports the labor process. This can cause prolonged labor and bleeding that is dangerous for the mother. This study aims to make the program of providing additional food based on local food ingredients for pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency at the Glagah Health Center, Lamongan Regency a success. The design of this study was an experiment with a pretest and posttest design. The location of the study was in the Glagah Health Center, Lamongan. Based on PMT monitoring report data, the study population was all pregnant women with CED based on body weight and LILA indicators used in assessing nutritional status. The sample of this study was all pregnant women in the Glagah area, and used a purposive sampling technique. Statistical tests were carried out using the Paired Sample T-test with a significance value of <0.05. The study showed a significant increase after 4 months of PMT administration and monitoring was carried out which showed a difference in BB and LILA before and after PMT administration with a p value = 0.000. There is effectiveness in providing additional food based on local food ingredients to pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency in the Glagah Lamongan Health Center work area.

Abstract

In pregnant women, iron consumption is used as an effort to overcome iron deficiency. Where the coverage of pregnant women will get a minimum of 90 tablets of Fe tablets during pregnancy because at that time the need for iron is very high. Pregnant women who do not understand the importance of the level of knowledge with adherence to consuming Fe tablets which will have an impact on the mother and also the fetus. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between knowledge of pregnant women and adherence to consuming Fe tablets at the Lamongan Public Health Center. This research is a descriptive observational study with a cross sectional design. The population in this study were pregnant women, totaling 719 samples taken using purposive sampling where the number of samples was taken in consideration. The data obtained is by distributing questionnaires that have been validated and tested for reliability by previous researchers, then the questionnaires are filled in directly by the respondents. Data analysis was carried out in the form of unvariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the chi-square test. The results showed that the knowledge of pregnant women about iron was in the good category (83,7%), and the adherence of pregnant women to consume Fe tablets was in the obedient category (17,3%). While the knowledge of pregnant women in the poor category (81,5%), and the compliance of pregnant women in the non-compliant category (18,5%). The conclusion in this study was that there was a significant relationship between knowledge of pregnant women and adherence to consuming Fe tablets at the Lamongan Health Center with p = 0.001.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between workload and lunch energy distribution on the body composition of employees at Fatimah Hospital Lamongan. A Cross-Sectional analytical observational design was applied with 45 respondents selected using simple random sampling. Data collection included physical workload assessment based on SNI 7269:2009, lunch energy calculations using the Indonesian Food Composition Table, and body composition measurement using Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) with the Omron HBF-214 device. The Sapiro-Wilk test showed the data were nor normally distributed (p = 0.000), hence spearman’s test was user for bivariate analysis. The result indicated a significant relationship between workload and body composition (p = 0.001), as well as between lunch energy distribution and body composition (p = 0.044). these findings emphasize the importance of managing workload and adequate lunch energy intake to maintain optimal body composition and employee productivity.

Abstract

. Vocational High School is secondary education that prepares students for the world of work. One of the majors at SMK is culinary arts. SMK Negeri 1 Cerme, Gresik has a culinary arts department that studies food service. The hospital is one of the places for fieldwork practice for students at SMK Negeri 1 Cerme, Gresik. In particular, students need to understand hospital nutrition services as a good provision for fieldwork practice and then work in hospitals as food service workers. This activity’s purpose was to provide education about food management in hospitals. The method for implementing this service uses socialisation with stages of coordination, material presentation, discussion, monitoring, and evaluation. This activity was attended by 56 grade 12 respondents majoring in culinary arts. 50% of students are 19 years old and 86% are women. In the discussion activity, respondents were asked about the role of food service providers in nutrition services in hospitals and providing special food (diet) for diabetes patients. At the end of the session, which carried out monitoring and evaluation through tests, it was found that 93% of respondents had understood the meaning of food management in hospitals and 89% of them had understood the standard forms of hospital food. It can be concluded that this educational activity needs to be carried out in several activities to increase respondents' understanding. Education activities will be more interesting when there is a performance test on respondents so that the information conveyed can be processed deeply in long-term memory.

Abstract

Istilah uang saku merujuk pada uang yang diberikan pada pelajar dengan tujuan membeli sesuatu yang diinginkan atau kebutuhan harian. Pemberian uang saku dapat dilakukan dalam waktu harian, mingguan, maupun bulanan. Penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan jenis penelitiannya adalah deskriptif dengan desain penelitian cros-sectional. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 57 responden dipilih menggunakan rumus Lameshow pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar kuisioner. Adapun rata – rata uang saku yang diberikan orang tua setiap hari nya berkisar Rp. 22.018 dari 57 responden. pemilihan makanan gol. Karbohidrat tertinggi nasi putih gol. Ptotein tertinggi daging ayam gol. Serat tertinggi pisang gol. Lemak tertinggi gorengan gol. Sayuran tertinggi wortel. sebagian responden memiliki status gizi baik / normal 48 Responden (84,2%), gizi kurang 5 Responden (8,8%), dan Gizi Lebih 4 Responden (7,0%). Terdapat korelasi secara signifikan antara status gizi dengan uang saku, tidak adanya hubungan pemanfaatan uang saku dan status gizi, serta adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara jumlah uang saku dan pemanfaatan nya.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang semakin meningkat, terutama di kalangan lansia yang berisiko tinggi mengalami komplikasi. Pemeriksaan kadar gula darah untuk mengetahui Tingkat gula darah sebagai deteksi secara dini adanya kondisi diabetes mellitus. Masyarakat Desa Sambogunung terutama lansia masih kurang pengetahuan tentang penyakit diabetes mellitus. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan edukasi Kesehatan pada masyarakat lanjut usia di Desa Sambogunung, Gresik, melalui pendidikan tentang pengelolaan dan pola makan yang tepat untuk diabetes mellitus. Edukasi komunitas dirancang untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap peserta dalam mengimplemetasikan pemantauan diabetes dan pola makan yang tepat. Program ini melibatkan sesi interaktif yang mencakup topik seperti pemantauan gula darah, kepatuhan terhadap obat, perencanaan diet, dan gaya hidup. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan diikuti oleh peserta lansia memiliki kemauan untuk melakukan pemeriksaan gula darah. Peserta mengikuti kegiatan edukasi dan sesi tanya jawab, peserta berperan aktif mengajukan pertanyaan dan menjawab pertanyaan setelah sesi pemaparan materi. Peran aktif peserta menunjukkan tingkat  pemahaman prinsip pengelolaan diabetes dan penyesuaian pola makan di kalangan peserta lansia. Sebanyak 100% peserta melakukan pemeriksaan dan 33% peserta aktif bertanya terkait materi penyuluhan meliputi kebiasaan makan yang lebih sehat untuk pencegahan diabetes, jenis makanan yang diperbolehkan dikonsumsi dan teknik pengolahan yang baik untuk penderita diabetes. Hasil tanya jawab dengan peserta menunjukkan respon postitif dari peserta untuk memahami tentang tipe diabetes mellitus, cara pemeriksaan diabetes mellitus, tata pelaksanaan DM, faktor risiko diabetes, dan manajemen pola makan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini menyoroti pentingnya pendidikan berbasis komunitas yang disesuaikan untuk memberdayakan lansia dalam mengelola penyakit kronis secara efektif. Kesimpulan menekankan bahwa edukasi dapat dijadikan skrining atau deteksi dini pada  lansia sebagai penderita diabetes di Desa Sambogunung. Kegiatan ini perlu dilakukan secara rutin dengan penjadwalan yang terstruktur sehingga dapat berkelanjutan untuk dijadikan monitoring perilaku, pola makan dan kualitas hidup lansia.
