Abstract

Bulan Sabit Merah Indonesia Surabaya atau yang disingkat BSMI adalah sebuah organisasi yang bergerak dibidang kemanusiaan. Sebagai organisasi yang bergerak dibidang kemanusiaan, BSMI Cabang Surabaya terus berupaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas dari relawan yang dengan salah satunya melakukan penilaian kinerja. Saat ini BSMI Surabaya masih belum memiliki sistem penilaian kinerja relawan serta kurangnya evaluasi untuk penilaian kinerja yang bisa membuat para relawan dapat melakukan kesalahan-kesalahan atau tidak menerapkan tugas sesuai diklat atau pelatihan yang telah diajarkan sebelumnya tanpa memperhatikan aturan yang telah ditetapkan. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, maka diusulkan sebuah solusi aplikasi penilaian kinerja relawan berbasis website dengan menggunakan metode Graphic Rating Scales (GRS) yang dapat mendukung proses penilaian kinerja serta mempermudah tim manajemen dalam melakukan proses memasukan data relawan yang ingin dinilai dimanapun dan kapanpun juga terjangkau. Aplikasi dapat menemukan nilai total untuk setiap 3 kali kejadian dari relawan tersebut dan memperlihatkan grafik kinerja relawan dari tahun ke tahun untuk mengevaluasi dan melihat peningkatan atau penurunan kinerja relawan serta terdapat fitur laporan akhir berupa rangking dari seluruh relawan sesuai urutan nilai akhir yang telah diperoleh guna mempermudah dalam pengambilan keputusan serta meningkatkan kinerja dari setiap relawan.

Abstract

Meskipun pandemi sudah mulai mereda, namun proses belajar mengajar di sekolah belum sepenuhnya dapat pulih seperti sebelumnya. Di saat masa normal baru, dibutuhkan suatu Learning Management System (LMS) yang mampu mewadahi pembelajaran campuran (hybrid learning). MoLearn, sebuah LMS yang dibuat khusus agar pendidik mempunyai wadah yang memudahkan dalam menyajikan materi, memberikan tugas, serta melakukan penilaian dari tugas dan ujian yang dibuat oleh peserta didik. Tujuan pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pemahaman tentang hybrid learning, serta workshop pelatihan penggunaan MoLearn, dan pendampingan penggunaannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode KSA (Knowledge, Skill, Attitude) transfer yang diwujudkan dalam seminar, workshop dan pendampingan pada saat pelaksanaan. Di samping penyediaan LMS, guru juga dibekali dengan cara membuat materi yang lebih menarik dengan teknologi informasi.  Hasil yang didapat dari pelatihan adalah guru mampu meningkatkan diri baik dari penyajian materi maupun sarana pendistribusian materi melalui LMS. Utilization of LMS Molearn for Teachers of SMK Pawiyatan Surabaya as a Hybrid Learning Facility  Although the pandemic has begun to subside, school teaching and learning have not fully recovered as before. During the new normal, a Learning Management System (LMS) is needed that can accommodate hybrid learning. MoLearn, an LMS that was made specifically so that educators have a place that makes it easier to present material, give assignments, and conduct assessments of assignments and exams made by students. The purpose of this service is to provide an understanding of hybrid learning, and training workshops on the use of MoLearn,, and assistance in its use. The method used is the KSA (Knowledge, Skill, Attitude) transfer method which is realized in seminars, workshops, and mentoring during implementation. In addition to providing LMS, teachers are also provided with ways to make a material more interesting with information technology. The results obtained from the training are teachers can improve themselves both from the presentation of the material and the means of distributing material through the LMS.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic not only has negative impacts, but also positive impacts, one of those is the development of online learning. Online learning, of course, does not mean simply moving face-to-face encounters to virtual ones, as happened during the first semester of the Covid-19 pandemic. The problem to be solved in this study is how to change sudden/unplanned online learning in the first semester of the Covid-19 pandemic into planned online learning in the second semester based on theoretical studies, and to define if there are changes in student responses in the two consecutive semesters. The results obtained are a theoretical study for the formation of planned online learning, as well as an increase in the results of student responses via questionnaires which indicate progress in efforts to prepare unplanned online learning into planned online learning.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the readiness of lecturers in implementing online learning on both faculties at a University in Surabaya during the first semester of the pandemic, especially in terms of (1) the use of synchronous learning mode, (2) the use asynchronous learning mode with e-learning, (3) the strengths and weaknesses of online learning that have been implemented by lecturers. This research was conducted on 126 lecturers in both faculties with a total of 350 classes. The research instrument used an electronic log from the campus e-learning application, and was analyzed using a descriptive method. The results showed that (1) the use of synchronous learning mode was used by 72% and 64% of the total amount of learning performed at the Faculty of Information Technology and at the Faculty of Business Economics, respectively (2) the use of campus e-learning as the media for asynchronous learning for delivering materials by 94% and 50.01% (3). The strength of online learning for lecturers is the availability of supporting applications and teaching materials which can be used by learners, while the weakness is on the understanding of online philosophy. From the results of this research, it is recommended to increase the readiness of lecturers to perform online learning, in the form of understanding the online philosophy, and institutional support to provide interesting contents for online learning, so it can be carried out in accordance with its philosophy, as asset for future online learning, even though if there will be no Covid-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

Dampak positif dari Pandemi Covid-19 adalah berkembangnya pembelajaran online di hampir semua jenjang pendidikan. Dalam pelaksanaannya, sebuah pembelajaran online memerlukan sebuah aplikasi pembelajaran. Agar aplikasi pembelajaran dapat mewadahi kebutuhan pendidik, maka tentunya harus dibangun berdasar kebutuhan pendidik, yang dijajagi dengan menggunakan Pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), di mana pengusul menempatkan diri sebagai insider dan bukan sebagai outsider. Pada penyusunan desain ini, pendidik yang terlibat adalah perwakilan guru Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Hasil yang didapat adalah desain aplikasi pembelajaran jenjang SMA, dengan model pembelajaran yang bersesuaian dengan kebutuhan pendidik dan peserta didik, mudah dan dapat digunakan di manapun, menjamin standar mutu tanpa mengurangi kebebasan pendidik untuk mengembangkan materi. Setelah desain aplikasi pembelajaran didapatkan, maka pendidik diminta untuk mengisi kuesioner agar diketahui kesesuaian desain aplikasi yang dibuat dengan kebutuhan pendidik. Hasil yang didapat desain aplikasi pembelajaran telah dianggap sesuai dengan kebutuhan pendidik, sehingga dapat dilanjutkan dengan rancang bangun aplikasi pembelajaran sesuai desain yang telah disepakati.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMA berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) melalui pembudayaan belajar dengan pendekatan blended learning dengan menerapkan model Blended Web Mobile Learning (BWML) dan aplikasi MoLearn. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada Generic Design Research Model (GDRM) dari Plomp dan Nieveen. Untuk pengembangan aplikasi MoLearn metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model waterfall digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini meibatkan 205 siswa sebagai subjek penelitiaan. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan instrument lembar validasi model, angket resposn siswa, dan tes HOTs siswa. Penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan persamaan reliabilitas dan n-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) model BWML dengan aplikasi MoLearn dinyatakan valid dan reliable berdasarkan tinjauan content dan isi, selain itu, berdasarkan hasil respon 205 siswa terhadap pembelajaran model BWML dengan aplikasi MoLearn, 83% siswa dinyatakan antusias mengikuti pembelajaran; dan (2) peningkatan HOTs siswa dinyatakan meningkat (rerata n-gain= 0,46) dengan kategori sedang. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model Blended Web Mobile Learning (BWML) dengan aplikasi MoLearn valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa SMA. The Development of the Blended Web Mobile Learning Model with the MoLearn Application to Improve High School Students’ Higher Order Thinking Skills Abstract This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of high school students based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) through the culture of learning with a blended learning approach by applying the Blended Web Mobile Learning (BWML) model and the MoLearn application. This research is a development research that refers to the Generic Design Research Model (GDRM) from Plomp and Nieveen. For the development of the MoLearn application, the Waterfall Model System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method was used in this study. This study involved 205 students as research subjects. The research data were collected using a model validation sheet instrument, student response questionnaires, and student HOTs tests. The research was analyzed descriptively using the reliability equation and n-gain. The results showed that (1) the BWML model with the MoLearn application was declared valid and reliable based on the content and content review, in addition, based on the results of the responses of 205 students to the BWML model learning with the MoLearn application, 83% of the students were stated to be enthusiastic about participating in the learning; and (2) the increase in students' HOTs was stated to be increasing (mean n-gain = 0.46) in the medium category. The results of this study conclude that the Blended Web Mobile Learning (BWML) model with the MoLearn application is valid, practical, and effective for improving high school students’ higher order thinking skills.

Abstract

One of the service companies which specializes in printing is CV Abadi. The products produced by CV Abadi include invitations, books, brochures, and magazines. The business process in CV Abadi starts when the customer asks for the unit price of the product to be ordered, then the customer provides the product design to the sales department. Furthermore, the sales department will make a proof of order to the customer. The production department will prepare raw materials and carry out the production process based on the proof of order. After the product is produced according to the order, the sales department will inform the customer. Then the customer makes payment to the sales department. The problem is that the customer has to wait a long time to ensure the price of the product ordered, the sales department does not know the due date of the customer's order due to manual checking, and if the customer wants to know how far the production process of the ordered product (tracking the production progress) is, the customer must ask to the sales department. To overcome the problems above, the solution given is to design a sales application and track the progress of web-based printing production at CV Abadi. This application has several features such as calculating the selling price of products, managing customer orders, being able to view the status of customer payments, being able to track the progress of production status with notifications via email, and displaying up-to-date product orders sales information. Based on the results of trials with black boxes, it is found that all functions in the application can work well and solve existing problems. The application will display an automatic product price list according to the product name and calculate the payment price when inputting the number of products to be ordered. The sales department can find out the due date and see the tracking of the production progress of customer orders on the schedule page. During the process of marketing and tracking progress, the printing production that is conducted by CV Abadi, there are some problems, such as the customer asks about the price of the product unit which he/she is going to order but he/she usually must wait long enough, the marketing division doesn’t know the dates of the due date of the customer’s order, the searching of data still done manually so it makes the customer’s order pass the due date of finishing of the order, the marketing division doesn’t know the due date of the customer’s payment which still has some debts, the searching of the data is still done manually so it takes a long time so there are some customers who have passed their due dates of payments, the customer asks if the company has or has not finished the product he/she ordered but the marketing division must check it out or directly ask the production division, (when) the owner wants to know the income that the company gets during a certain period, the marketing division still do the information presentation manually so it takes a long time to show the information that the owner asks. To overcome the problems above, the solution given is the use of marketing applications and tracking the progress of the printing production which is based on the web in CV Abadi. The application has some features, such as counting the selling price of the product, managing the orders of the customers, and the payments from the customers. The application of marketing and tracking progress of the printing production which is based on the web in CV Abadi produces the reports needed by the owner where the application can provide the information about the progress of the customer’s orders, and the status of the payments.

Abstract

Dinamika University is one of the universities in Surabaya that focuses on informatics, design and business which is located on Jl. Raya Kedung Baruk No.98, Kedung Baruk, Kec. Rungkut, Surabaya City, East Java 60298. The university has 3 faculties and 8 departments, namely the Faculty of Technology and Information Technology. To assist the academic field in managing data and information there is an application for the Cyber Campus Information System or SiCyCa which is an academic information system. SiCyCa at Dinamika University contains several features such as academic, finance, library, E-Resource, PPKP, PPTA, Community, Questionnaire and Public Relations publications. . Based on the results of the questionnaire 60% of respondents from 43 respondents stated that SiCyCa has features that can be easily understood and display up to date information, in addition there are 40% of respondents from 43 respondents stated that respondents still have difficulties in communicating, so the University must continue to try as much as possible improve and improve SiCyCa services, especially in improving the ease of communication services. By using Importance Performance Analysis can identify the strengths and weaknesses of the variables used by the user in determining the choice of two criteria. The first criterion indicates the level of importance and the second criterion indicates the level of performance. By using IPA, you can find out which services are still lacking, which must be improved and which services must be maintained. The test results show that the IPA application is able to process data with a 100% success rate

Abstract

Based on interviews, the Lentera Software house does not yet have a place to accommodate ready-to-use applications for sale to customers, so the marketing of finished application products is only promoted through direct offers to customers via WhatsApp messages which causes product sales to be less than optimal. Based on the problems above, the author examines how to design a user interface / user experience that can meet customer desires when buying an application product on an e-commerce website that specifically sells software, where the characteristics of an e-commerce website that specifically sell application / software products are: how does this e-commerce website convince users to buy or entrust application development to the company and ensure application products arrive and can be used properly by customers using the Lean Ux method. This research resulted in a User Interface/User Experience design that has gone through the evaluation stage and obtained an “above average” value, which means that the User Interface/User Experience design design has met the user's needs.

Abstract

The existence of a swab-PCR service must also consider various inputs, one of which by looking at the public (community) response the swab-PCR service. Through this explanation, this study uses tweet data containing responses, resulting in classification and predictions that be used a benchmark for evaluating swab-PCR services. With this in mind, study will conduct sentiment analysis by classifying tweet data words into positive and negative words. The approach used is the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm. Going through data mining process with RapidMiner, labeling the mining data, followed by text-preprocessing, then data divided into training data (80%) and testing (20%), tf-idf weighting for each word in the data in the form numeric, classification process with SVM, evaluation with confusion matrix and validation with cross validation, visualization with wordcloud and pie charts. So that confusion matrix generated validation with average score of 66% which is tested with an accuracy of 76%, precision of 75%, and recall of 81%. Then based wordcloud obtained four positive words are gratis, sehat, mandiri, dan positif, and four negative words are kecewa, mahal, tolak, dan antri. The percentage of positive sentiment of 54.4% and the percentage negative sentiment 45.6% are visualized through the pie chart.
