Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to analyze and prove the influence of the problem- based learning models in thematic learning on student learning outcomes in fifth grade of the Mujahidin Elementary School South Pontianak. The research method used was an Experiment, a form of Quasi Experimental type of NonEquivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used Purposive Sampling. The techniques used in data collection are measurements with research instruments in the form of multiplechoice test to measure cognitive domain, affective domain using attitude assessment sheets, and psychomotor domain using psychomotor assessment sheets. The results of data analysis are, cognitive domain the average score of the learning outcomes experiment class 71,36 and the control class is 65,50. After the t-test is obtained tcount (2,8761) > ttable (2,0042) then Ha is accepted. Affective domain the average score of the learning outcomes experiment class 76,28 and the control class is 75,4. After the t-test is obtained tcount (1,6714) < ttable (2,0042) then Ho is accepted.  Psychomotor domain the average score of the learning outcomes experiment class 75,8957 and the control class is 73,00. After the t-test is obtained tcount (4,4829) > ttable (2,0042) then Ha is accepted. From the calculation of the effect size obtained at 0.52. This means that the problem-based learning models has a medium influence on student learning outcomes in thematic learning in the fifth grade of Mujahidin Elementary School South Pontianak. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Problem Based Learning Models, Thematic Learning

Abstract

The development of digital technology has significantly impacted education, including PGSD (Primary School Teacher Education) lectures. AI-powered adaptive learning offers vast potential to revolutionize digital learning in PGSD, particularly in the course on Digital Learning. This study aims to explore the use of AI-powered adaptive learning in the context of fifth-semester PGSD students enrolled in Digital Learning courses for elementary schools. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews with lecturers and students, and document analysis. Data were analyzed thematically to identify the benefits, challenges, and effective strategies for implementing AI-powered adaptive learning. The findings reveal that AI-powered adaptive learning has significant potential to enhance the effectiveness of digital learning in PGSD lectures. This system can provide personalized learning tailored to the needs and abilities of each student. It also boosts learning motivation, fosters independence, and optimizes study time. However, the study also highlights several challenges, such as resource availability, technology access, and lecturers' readiness to implement this system. This research recommends that universities consider integrating AI-powered adaptive learning as an integral part of digital learning in PGSD lectures. It also serves as a reference for developing strategies and policies that support the effective and sustainable implementation of AI-powered adaptive learning in higher education.

Abstract

The digital era demands students to have comprehensive digital intelligence, including students' ability to access, manage, analyze, and present digital information, alongside a grasp of digital ethics and safety. This research seeks to examine how the Discovery Learning approach influences the enhancement of students' digital intelligence. The study employed a pre-experimental design utilizing a one group pretest-posttest, which included 31 students in their fifth semester from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. The results showed a significant increase in students' digital intelligence. Statistical analysis produced a significance probability of p = 0.0000 (p <0.05), an average increase of 25.01%. Through the stages in this model, students are given the opportunity to not be passive in the learning process, so they can have critical thinking skills, problem solving, and digital skills needed in today's digital era. Further research should explore other elements, including lecturer readiness, availability of digital learning resources, and supportive institutional policies

Abstract

This research aims to determine the teacher's efforts in fostering the reading interest of third-grade students at SDN 15 Sungai Raya, focusing on four areas: (1) reading attention, (2) reading fondness, (3) reading time, and (4) the number of reading books. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques of interview and observation. The subject of this study was the III-C class teacher, and the object of this study was 25 students of class III-C at SDN 15 Sungai Raya, consisting of 12 male students and 13 female students. The research findings on the teacher's efforts to foster students' reading interest indicate that the third-grade teacher implemented various strategies to enhance students' reading interest, including habitual reading for fifteen minutes before lessons, providing attractive reading materials, giving motivation, and appreciation to actively reading students. Nevertheless, there are still obstacles such as the limited collection of reading books that match students' interests. Overall, the efforts made by the teacher have had a positive impact in forming a reading culture within the classroom environment.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of a water cycle diorama medium in teaching science and mathematics material on the water cycle in Grade V at SDN 08 Sungai Raya. The problem faced is the low utilisation of visual media, making it difficult for students to understand the water cycle process concretely. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were obtained through validation by media experts, subject matter experts, and practitioners, as well as individual trials with students. The validation results showed very high feasibility with a percentage of 100% by media experts, 100% by practitioners, and 80% by subject matter experts, while individual trials obtained a result of 96.7%. Based on these results, the water cycle diorama media was declared very feasible and effective for use in science education because it helps students understand the concept of the water cycle more easily, attractively, and interactively.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the environment as a learning resource on the learning outcomes of Science and Social Studies (IPAS) for third grade students at SDN 51 Sungai Raya. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The research subjects were 25 third grade students. Data were collected through observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods by calculating the mean score, percentage, and categories of students’ learning outcomes. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the environment as a learning resource has a positive effect on students’ IPAS learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the increased student engagement during the learning process and the achievement of learning outcomes categorized as very good. Therefore, utilizing the environment as a learning resource can serve as an effective alternative learning strategy to improve IPAS learning outcomes in elementary schools

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penggunaan seni, seperti musik, tari, dan drama dalam film Sokola Rimba sebagai media pembelajaran nilai-nilai Pancasila di Sekolah Dasar. Film ini menggambarkan perjuangan masyarakat adat Suku Rimba di Jambi dalam mendapatkan akses pendidikan, serta mencerminkan nilai-nilai Pancasila seperti Persatuan Indonesia, Keadilan Sosial, dan Kemanusiaan yang Adil dan Beradab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media berbasis seni dapat memperkaya pengalaman belajar siswa dan membantu mereka menginternalisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila secara emosional dan mudah dipahami. Selain itu, penerapan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) dalam kurikulum merdeka terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat pembentukan karakter siswa dengan nilai-nilai seperti gotong royong, mandiri, dan kreatif. Pendekatan berbasis seni dapat membuat pembelajaran Pancasila lebih menarik dan relevan bagi siswa, serta memperkuat identitas nasional mereka. Disarankan agar pendekatan ini semakin diperluas dalam pembelajaran Pancasila di sekolah dasar, serta memperkuat implementasi P5 untuk meningkatkan karakter positif siswa.

Abstract

The use of technology in the educational context continues to grow in line with advances in information technology. Articulate Storyline has emerged as a widely used learning media development tool. This phenomenon provides an opportunity to further examine how students accept the use of Articulate Storyline. By using the TAM (Theory of Acceptance Model), the research results show that Articulate Storyline is assessed positively because of its ease of use and benefits by the majority of students. However, some students still expressed uncertainty or were neutral regarding the intention to use Articulate Storyline consistently. Factors such as individual characteristics, previous technology experience, and learning environment can also be taken into consideration in understanding student acceptance of learning technology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan persepsi guru SD terhadap integrasi teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran nilai toleransi dan kebhinekaan pada Pendidikan Pancasila. Kurikulum Merdeka memberi ruang bagi guru untuk memanfaatkan teknologi dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi di empat SD negeri di Kabupaten Kubu Raya, Kalimantan Barat. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki persepsi positif terhadap penggunaan teknologi digital, terutama dalam memanfaatkan media visual, cerita digital, dan aplikasi edukatif sederhana. Meski terbatas infrastruktur, guru tetap berinovasi secara kontekstual dan kreatif. Teknologi terbukti tidak hanya mendukung aspek kognitif, tetapi juga membangun nilai-nilai sosial dan afektif siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pelatihan berkelanjutan dan pengembangan modul ajar digital yang adaptif terhadap nilai-nilai Pancasila.

Abstract

This study aims to find out information about the need for educational games, perceptions of educational games, and educational game design according to teachers and students. The method used in this research is a survey to find out the initial data which is the process of developing educational game products. The instrument used is a questionnaire sheet and an interview sheet. The data analysis technique used quantitative and qualitative descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The schools that were used as research samples were 3 schools spread across Magelang Regency. Each school selected 2 class teachers. The results showed that teachers and students at SD Magelang Regency had a good perception of educational games. The need for educational games according to the teacher is a game that contains evaluation questions and the type of game that students need is an adventure genre game. The design of educational games developed according to the teacher must pay attention to aspects of appearance, content, and affordability of the game. Meanwhile, according to students, educational games are games that are interesting and have challenges or missions that must be completed.
