Abstract

Flooding is a natural disaster that frequently affects coastal areas in Aceh, including Meunasah Alue Village in Muara Dua District, Lhokseumawe City. This condition is caused by high rainfall, suboptimal drainage systems, and low public awareness of environmental cleanliness. This community service activity aims to increase community capacity and awareness in flood mitigation through participatory-based environmental education and action programs. The implementation method uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) and Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction (CBDRR) approaches that directly involve the community in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of activities. The program was implemented for three months through stages of flood mitigation education, environmental actions (cleaning ditches, planting vegetation, and creating biopores), and the formation of Village Flood Alert Groups (KSBD). The results of the activity showed a 38% increase in community understanding, a decrease in inundation points from 14 to 6 points, and increased active participation of residents in maintaining environmental cleanliness. In addition to the physical impact, this activity also strengthened collective awareness, social solidarity, and coordination between the community and the village government. Thus, community empowerment through environmental education and action has proven effective in building community resilience to flood risks at the local level and can be used as a model for replication in other areas with similar characteristics.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of price perception and digital marketing on repurchase intention and also explores the role of purchase decisions as an intervening variable in this relationship. This study uses primary data collected by distributing questionnaires as the main instrument, with the Hair method applied for sampling. The study consists of a total sample size of 144 respondents. This study uses a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings reveal that digital marketing and price perception positively affect purchase decisions. Furthermore, purchase decisions and digital marketing positively and significantly influence repurchase intention. However, price perception, on its own, does not have a significant effect on repurchase intention. Also, the purchase decision partially mediates the relationship between price perception and digital marketing with repurchase intention. It implies that the purchase decision variable serves as a key intermediary in the impact of price perception and digital marketing on repurchase intention for frozen food products in Lhokseumawe City. Substantially, price perception itself does not significantly affect repurchase intention when not mediated by purchase decisions.

Abstract

This study examined the influence of visual appeal, asking price, user experience, and brand advocacy on user satisfaction among students at Malikussaleh University in Lhokseumawe who use the MyIM3 mobile application. The respondents were 110 students selected using non-probability and purposive sampling techniques based on specific criteria: age, amount of pocket money, gender, faculty, use of the Indosat mobile operator, and active use of the MyIM3 application. A Google Form was used to gather data, and SPSS version 22 was used for analysis. The results indicate that visual appeal, user experience, and brand advocacy positively and significantly affected user satisfaction. These findings suggest that an attractive interface, ease of use, and peer recommendations are key factors in enhancing student satisfaction with the application. In contrast, asking price does not significantly affect user satisfaction. Based on these findings, it is recommended that Indosat prioritize improving the visual design of the application, ensuring a clean user interface and a stable system to minimize technical issues such as bugs and errors. Although pricing was not a significant factor in this study, offering attractive price promotions may still be beneficial. Continuous evaluation and development of the application are essential to maintain and enhance user satisfaction. This study highlights the importance of application quality and user-centered design in promoting satisfaction among student users.
