Abstract

Fish is considered a key nutrient for a balanced diet for the growing population  around the world..fish is also superior because it is the highest natural source of omega 3 fatty acids. These fishery products are susceptible to quality degradation, therefore many use formalin as a fish preservative. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of formalin in some fresh fish. The method used is a quantitative test of formalin levels with a formalin test kit and descriptively. The sample used 5 types of fresh fish from 10 respondents. And the results of this study were that the five fresh fish samples contained formalin because the five fish were “one the fishing” fish. The most formalin content found in snapper was 3.42 g/ml.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian  kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan agar guru-guru dapat menggunakan aplikasi Bandicam saat masa pembelajaran online yang dilakukan pada pandemic covid-19. Keterampilan pengelolaan pembelajaran secara daring sangat perlu didukung dengan keterampilan membuat instrumen pembelajaran daring salah satunya dengan pembuatan video pembelajaran. Video pembelajaran diperlukan sekali dalam pembelajaran daring, karena manfaatnya yaitu bersifat komunikatif dan dapat diulang-ulang, diperlambat, diperbesar. Bandicam ini merupakan salah satu media interaktif yang dapat digunakan untuk mendukung pembelajaran secara  online, karena pada bandicam  terdapat video  dimana guru dapat menjelaskan  materi dengan tepat dan jelas. Metode pengabdian menggunakan ceramah tutorial dengan bantuan Power Point, aplikasi Bandicam  dan diskusi dengan peserta. Peserta kegiatan merupakan 17 orang  peserta yang terdiri dari guru-guru SMA. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah :1) guru menjadi lebih percaya diri dan termotivasi menggunakan teknologi, 2) guru dapat merancang dan membuat video pembelajaran  sederhana yang menarik sesuai tema dan kebutuhan peserta didik dengan menggunakan Bandicam 3) guru dapat merancang video interaktif dan melibatkan anak dalam pembelajaran

Abstract

Menurunnya kualitas air pada budidaya ikan dikarenakan pemberian pelet. Oleh karena itu sangat diperlukan pemberian pakan alami untuk meningkatkan kualitas air tersebut. Larva lalat Black Soldier Fly (BSF) mempunyai kadar nutrisi dan protein sangat tinggi sehingga dapat digunakan pakan alami yang dapat diberikan kepada ikan. Metode Pelaksanaanya dengan mengetahui kualitas air saat dilakukannya budidaya ikan, pengaruh pemberian larva BSF terhadap kualitas air saat pembudidayaan, serta keuntungan pemberian pakan ternak alami larva BSF tersebut. Diadakan juga evaluasi untuk mengukur keberhasilan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat di Kelurahan Pardamean antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan tersebut. Pelaksanaan sosialisasi ini memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat tentang kualitas air saat pembudidayaan ikan dengan pemberian larva BSF.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes and chemical process skills through the Discovery Learning learning model on the reaction rate material. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar in class XI MIA 2 with 29 students as the subject. This type of research is classroom action research which consists of planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting using the Discovery Learning learning model. The test is used to measure the learning outcomes of students' initial abilities and learning outcomes, and the observation sheet is used to measure chemical process skills. Learning using the Discovery Learning model is proven to be effective in improving student learning outcomes and chemical process skills. The value achieved is still categorized in the Very Good criteria. Based on the analysis of chemical process skills, the success of the application in improving students' science process skills was 82.57% at the second meeting of the first cycle and increased again by 90.5% at the second meeting of the second cycle. The conclusion of this study is that the application of learning using the Discovery Learning model has proven to be effective in improving student learning outcomes and science process skills of SMA Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar students in class XI MIA 2.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the effectiveness of Android-based learning media on student learning outcomes in thermochemical material; (2) Student responses to the use of Android-based learning media on thermochemical material; (3) The learning outcomes of students who are taught using Android-based chemistry learning media are the same as the KKM value. This research was conducted at Public High School 5 Medan with a total sample of 68 people. The research instrument consisted of standardized tests and questionnaires. The analytical techniques used are: (1) Two-party t test (Independent Samples T test); and (2) One Sample Test. From the results of this study, it was found that: (1) Anroid-based chemistry learning media was effective on student learning outcomes on thermochemical material, with a t-test of 7.063 which was greater than t-table of 2.00. Then based on the Gain Score, the t-test of 6.843 was obtained, which was greater than the t-table of 2.00; (2) Student responses "Very Interesting" with percentages of 92.27%, 93.93% and 92.12%, respectively, on the use of anroid-based learning media in thermochemical material; (3) The learning outcomes of students who are taught using android-based chemistry learning media are not the same as the KKM value, where , tcount (2.126) > ttable (2.032), means that it has a positive effect on KKM

Abstract

For this study aims to determine the effect of an innovative chemical bond module integrated with characters that have been developed to improve student learning outcomes and character. The samples in this study were three chemical bonding textbooks, two chemistry education lecturers as expert validators, and 20 chemistry education students. book so that it needs to be developed, (2) The results of the lecturer's assessment of the innovative chemical bonding book integrated with characters obtained an average of 3.70 which means that it is valid and does not need revision so that it can be used in chemistry learning. (3) There is an influence on student learning outcomes who are taught using an innovative chemical bonding book that integrates characters with students who are taught using the textbook used, according to the data from the hypothesis test results obtained a significance of 0.002 < 0.005, (4) The innovative chemical bonding book is integrated characters that have been developed can develop character values in students with an average of 85.53% in the very good category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Cooperative Tipe Jigsaw Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas III Pada Subtema 2 Perubahan Energi UPTD SD Negeri 125543 Pematangsiantar. Jenis penelitian adalah Pre-Experimental Design dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Desain Penelitian adalah Desain Experimen One grup pretest postest design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di UPTD SD Negeri 125543 Pematangsiantar pada siswa kelas III dengan jumlah populasi dan sampel 22 orang.Tehnik pengambilan sampel adalah tehnik sampling jenuh yaitu tehnik penentuan sampel apabila populasi digunakan sebagai sampel .Tehnik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian adalah dokumentasi dan test(Pretest dan Postest). Tehnik analisa data yang digunakan adalah Uji Normalitas,Uji Homogenitas dan Uji Hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan uji hipotesis yang telah dilakukan ,diperoleh taraf signifikansi (- 2 tailed ) lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,00<0,05) dan diperoleh nilai thitung (17,98 ) > t tabel 1,72) maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Cooperative Tipe Jigsaw Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas III Pada Subtema 2 Perubahan Energi UPTD SD Negeri 125543 Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

Kehadiran media mempunyai arti yang cukup penting. karena dalam kegiatan tersebut ketidakjelasan materi yang disampaikan dapat dibantu dengan menghadirkan media sebagai perantara. kerumitan materi yang akan disampaikan kepada peserta didik dapat disederhanakan dengan bantuan media. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pengaruh media gambar terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada tema 3 peduli terhadap makluk hidup subtema 1 tumbuhan di lingkungan rumahku di Kelas IV SD N.091464 Parapat tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Jenis peneltian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Kuantitatif dengan bentuk Pre-Experimental Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV yang terdiri dari 1 kelas, SD Negeri 091464 Parapat Tahun Ajaran 20223/2024 berjumlah 34 peserta didik. Dari hasil posttest menunjukkn bahwa kemampuan hasil belajar siswa dalam memahami materi subtema 1 tumbuhan di lingkungan sekitarku, nilai posttest siswa VI sudah mencapai KKM atau bisa dikatakan seluruh siswa sudah tuntas. Berdasarkan hasil uji dan analisis data yang telah dilakukan,Hasil dari pengujian hipotesis penelitian terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penelitian ini dari data yang sudah diujikan datanya dapat dilihat sig (2 tailend) < 0,05 maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, artinya ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media gambar lebih meningkat, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media gambar terhadap hasil belajar siswa dikelas IV SD Negeri 091464 Parapat Tahun ajaran 2023/2024.
